Chapter 9: The Pack

Simon’s Pov

I was extremely nervous. I held Levi’s hand as we drove to the pack house together for the first time. I’d never been and had made a million excuses for the past few days about not going. But I guess he caught onto my bullshit because early this morning he came to my house and told me to get ready.

He said we were going and he didn’t want to hear s**t about it.

I grumbled to myself and hissed internally at Axel, knowing he snitched me out to Levi’s wolf.

“Hey, I couldn’t lie to him when he asked the real reason we didn’t go yet. He’s so sexy it was impossible” Axel defends himself but I mentally give him the finger anyway.

“I wish Percy gave me a finger, in a certain area” he purred back and I immediately blocked him out my thoughts.

Perverted wolf.

My heart races as we enter his territory. It’s huge. I know his pack is the second largest but I didn’t think it was this large. The pack house was so big, it looked like we drove three blocks before getting to the main entrance.

Sensing their alpha, the guards immediately let us in.

“Wow” I gasped at the beauty of the palace before me. It had a giant water fountain in the front that lit up different colors every few seconds, a cobblestone driveway, and just about every expensive care you could think of was parked all around.

Way to show off huh?

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn’t even notice him park or go around the side to open my door for me. I took his hand smiling and stepped out the car.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeih!! A loud shriek greeted us and I immediately grimaced. It was the most annoying thing I’ve ever heard. I turned to see two girls running towards us and one guy who followed close behind.

The girl who was yelling looked...annoying. She had bone straight strawberry blonde hair that went all the way to her ass, light brown eyes and way too much makeup. It looked more like she shoved her face in a box of powder donuts than anything. I also definitely didn’t like her outfit. She had on a black mini skirt and a tank top that her breast bounced around in too much.

Why not just wear a sign that says: Pack Slut.

I griminced as she ran straight to my mate and hugged him, snatching his hand out of mine.

Suddenly I felt something in my chest.

Jealousy.

I had never felt this way in my life, and now I was close to losing control as Axel tried to claw the sluts face with all his might.

“Don’t worry Luna, you’re waaaay hotter than her” a voice piped up and I immediately turned around. The couple who also came to greet us was smiling and happy to see me.

“I’m Tyler, and this is my mate Kara.”

I immediately shook hands with them both, remembering who Levi said they were.

“The best friend and the cousin. We meet at last” I said genuinely and they both smiled a warmly.

Tyler was tall but not as tall as my Levi. He was maybe about 6’ even. He had a lean body type and light brown hair with dark eyes. He had a cropped haircut and a nose piercing, a bold choice for a beta considering he’s one of the wolves to fight most in the pack.

And then there was Kara.

She was about the same height as me, with long blonde wavy hair and golden eyes. She was chubby but in a cute way, and smelled like some type of citrus perfume. I loved it.

“I’m so happy you finally came Luna!” She exclaimed

“I agree, the pack is waiting to meet you” Tyler jumped in and I nodded.

“I’m ready to meet them as well, but I bet your the nicest ones”

They both smiled widely and I winked

“Don’t tell anyone I said that though.”

“I’ll keep the secret until I die noble Luna” Tyler joked with his hand across his heart and we all laughed at the moment.

We looked over when we heard obnoxious laughing and we all seemingly frowned as the girl tried too hard to keep Levi’s attention. Suddenly Axel took control out of nowhere and charged towards the girl, pushing her away from Levin and growling.

“What the hell is your problem?!”

“I don’t care if you speak to my mate, but keep those gross, unmaintained, raggedy looking hands to yourself” I spat angrily

“Mate?” She asked confused

“Yes, Levi’s mate and you’re new Luna” I said smugly as I watched a look of pure hate cross her features

“Your a guy, you can’t be a Luna” she argued before being taken away by other wolves. I’m assuming Levi mind linked them before it got out of control.

“Let go of me!! Levi help!!” She cried but he just rolled his eyes and turned back to me, smirking.

“What?”

“Jealous aren’t we?” He said happily but I just rolled my eyes as Tyler and Kara laughed behind us.

“Gather everyone into the courtyard. It’s time to announce the Luna” Levi told Tyler and he nodded before disappearing into the large building.

-1 hour later-

I fidgeted with my hands as I sat on stood next to my mate. I got a few curious stares at me while others rolled their eyes at my presence.

Good Morning beloved pack members. As you know, there has been a lot of concern over not having a Luna to the point where elders were brought in to try and locate my mate.

Well I have wonderful news.

The man standing beside me is named Simon Alexander Smith. Former future Beta of the Eclispe pack before he left due to personal reasons. He is my mate and now your Luna. Please welcome him with love and respect, and show him how our family takes care of one another.

Applause and howls erupt as they welcome me with open arms. I smile widely, thanking the moon goddess that this went so much better than expected. The crowd suddenly moves closer to the stage so everyone can learn my scent immediately, so they don’t mistake me for an outsider.

Levi smiles down at me and we kiss on stage, making everyone cheer and awww at us. I blush and hide behind his arm in embarrassment.

“So cute” he whispers and I blush even harder.

A woman who looks exactly like Levi runs on stage and gives me a bone crushing hug. “Welcome to our family future son in law!”

Yup I was right. This is definitely his mother.

“Oh, I didn’t realize Levi wanted to marry me already. Addicted already?” I joked to my boyfriend

“Oh honey, he’s going to put a ring on it. He’d be a moron not too. I mean look at you! You are gorgeous!!”

“Mom!!” He hissed in embarrassment and I laughed, enjoying every second of this moment.

After everyone getting my scent and questions being answered, he wa about to end the meeting.

“Does everyone else have any more questions?” He asked the crowd and when it seemed like it was over, the very same bimbo from earlier spoke up.

“How do you plan on having him as Luna when we need an heir? You know using a surrogate is forbidden in our pack!”

The crowd started filling with murmurs and whispering before others started asking the same thing.

Levi suddenly looked over at me with fear written over his features. It seems like this would’ve been a problem, well for someone else but not me.

“Time to tell them” Axel sighed and I agreed. I was hoping to try and tell my mate in private over time but it was clear now was needed much more.

“Excuse me!! Everyone calm down please” my voice ring out with authority and everyone settled down at once.

“There is no need to panic. If you look at my features then many of you know that I’m a rare white wolf, genetics were passed down from my mother.”

I saw a lot of wolves nod in agreement before I sighed and spoke again.

“What many of you don’t know however, is that males of my kind are able to bare children. So... I have the ability to become pregnant just like a female. You will have an heir”

Absolute silence fell and everyone’s eyes grew wide, especially my mate’s.

Then, cheers erupted again as people screamed happily and thanked the goddess for what I was. I breathed a sigh of relief but felt uneasy as I felt my mate stare at me with an unreadable expression. The meeting concluded and everyone shook hands with me And personally spoke to me one on one before it was just me and Levi.

“When were you going to tell me” he whispered.

“Soon babe I swear”

He looked at me, eyes pitch black.
