Chapter 8: Blissful nights

Levi’s Pov

I looked at Simon as we drove in silence. After he fully opened up to me over dinner, I let it slip out that he was a Luna. Okay, well I didn’t fully let it slip, I just called him one. He went into a panic as soon as the work slipped out of my mouth and I had to hug him to calm him down. I guess I can understand why he is afraid but I’m not ever going to hurt him. I’m his mate, I’d never.

We pull up in his driveway and I get out and open his door. He thanks me, softly, and holds my hand while I walk him to the front door.

“Good night” I whisper before letting his hand go and walking away. I figured he’d want to be alone but to my surprise, he grabs my hand and pulls me back. Without a word he opens the house door and pulls me inside. I lock it behind me and follow him up the stairs to his room. He sits on the bed and motions me to follow.

“Okay...so what did you mean by Luna?” He asks softly.

He seems to know the answer but I guess he needs to hear it from my mouth for confirmation.

“Simon, my full name is Levi Aston Harper, and I’m Alpha of the SilverSnow pack. I’ve been waiting years for my mate, and that’s you. Which means you are now a Luna and my right hand.”

He breathes heavily but it’s way better than it was at the restaurant.

“I-I-I can understand if you don’t want me Alpha, I’ve heard of your pack and they don’t need a weak link like me bringing them down.”
