Chapter 1:
....... ONCE UPON A TIME .......
In the land of Nathan, there lived a kingdom who hardly celebrates Christmas. Even if they did, it was done outside the walls of the palace.
And that has been going on since the young Prince turned twelve. Sometimes, Queen Vero would stare outside her window down to the village, loving the X-mass melodies.
But it saddens her each time she remembers the carols weren't coming from the palace itself.
Prince Ethan was their only child... And heir to the throne, that makes them respect whatever decision he makes.
" I ha,te Christmas, " he would say. " And I don't love the carols too. "
Poor Queen Vero who has tried everything possible under her power to see that her son appreciates Christmas.
The atmosphere of Nathan palace has been quiet the whole previous X-mass season and Prince Ethan seems to be loving it anyway.
The sound of the piano and the rhymes of carols were like itching rashes in his ears.
" Turn that off!" He y,elled, as if they would hear him.
And no one objects such order... It would be turned off immediately.
" What are we going to do? " Queen Vero asked her husband, the king worried. " This can't continue forever. "
" We have to endure. " He would say.
" Endure?! " She yanked. " You think we should endure this forever? This is almost like eternity now and we haven't celebrated the season. Each night I hear the carols sang by the people it pains me that we don't have any. "
" So, what do you suggest? " He asked.
" I think we must seek the face of the sorcerer, I'm certain he must know better on how to solve this matter. "
" No way, " he refused. " We have sworn never to use magic in this kingdom, why would you want to destroy such convenient? "
" It's not like we go there all the time. Besides, this is a serious matter, it needs a quick attention. I have this feeling that the years Xmas will be great, I won't let it pass by just like that. "

Moreover, Prince Ethan laid in his room as usual, studying his books. He had just shut all windows and curtains, including the door.
The loud noise of the music from the street was sounding in his room. The chattering voices almost took over the atmosphere...
Prince Ethan had to cover his ears tight with his pillow, yet... It wasn't helping.
" When will they learn that this is nothing but a disturbance!! " He muttered a,ngrily to himself.
But the noise still made its way in. He a,ngrily tossed the pillow aside, stepping out of the bed and out of his room to the council hall.
Banging the door open, he rowled. " Can someone tell those creatures to shut up?! I'm trying to concerntrate. "
Everyone, including his father glared at him.. speechless. Seeing that no one made a move, he sparked.
" Am I talking to myself?!! "
" Son, go back to your room, " his father said, calming him down. " I'll send the guards to shut them up. "
" Better, " feeling a bit relaxed, he left back to his room.
" Steven, " he called his personal guard.
" Yes, your majesty. " He replied.
" Go to the street, command everyone to return back to their respective homes. " He instructed.
" Yes, Sire. " He left.
" Sire, " said one of the royal councils. " I do not wish to interfere but... "
" Go ahead. " The king permitted." I suggest the young Prince should be taken abroad for the meantime. While we celebrate the season, he should be in one of the state's. What do you think?? "
King Al Anon thought over the idea and saw that it was good. He nodded in excitement and said, "I'll think about this. Perhaps, it is a great idea. "
