The group stepped inside.
The interior of the temple was enormous. Smooth stone floors stretched across a circular chamber surrounded by tall pillars.
But the most striking feature stood in the center.
A raised stone platform beneath the open ceiling.
Moonlight poured down through the circular opening above it like a spotlight.
Aria felt the moment she stepped into the chamber.
The same warmth she had felt before surged through her chest again.
Stronger this time.
The temple seemed to hum with energy.
Torren leaned against a pillar.
“Yep.”
He pointed toward the glowing platform.
“That’s definitely meant for you.”
Aria looked at Kael uncertainly.
“What happens if I step on it?”
Kael smiled slightly.
“Only one way to find out.”
Lyra nodded.
“Go.”
Aria walked slowly toward the platform.
Every step made the silver symbols along the walls glow brighter.
When she reached the center of the platform…
The light exploded.
A wave of moon energy spread across the temple.
Aria gasped.
Her senses sharpened again, just like before—but this time the power didn’t feel chaotic.
It felt controlled.
Focused.
Darius stepped forward, watching carefully.
“The temple amplifies the MoonBorn’s connection to the moon.”
Aria raised her hands slowly.
Silver energy flowed around her fingers like mist.
“I can feel it.”
Torren grinned.
“That’s a good sign.”
Lyra crossed her arms.
“Now you need to learn to control it.”
Aria looked at her.
“How?”
Lyra stepped onto the platform beside her.
“By training.”
Torren pushed off the pillar.
“Which means we get to watch.”
Darius sighed quietly.
“Unfortunately.”
