It's been years since Benedict followed Danica everywhere. He didn’t stop talking to her even though he didn’t get any reply from Danica. He always hopes that someday, Danica might open his heart again for him. He secretly likes her when they are in senior high school. He always looks at her from afar, afraid to talk and be rejected. He doesn't have the confidence to face her. It was love at first sight. Danica was moved to another section because of some circumstances. And he is also moved to Danica's former section. Things became so different, his normal life had many ups and downs. Danica became more competitive and determine to pursue her passion. Danica was late in her enrollment at that time because of family matters. And she doesn't have a choice no matter what she does to go back to her section because the head teachers didn't allow her. Good thing she and her friends still have a connection and didn't lose their bond. Almost every day Danica will go to the other room just to visit her friends. She is confident to do that because she knew everyone, aside from the few that were added to the section. Some of them said that they missed how bubbly she is inside their room. She felt sorry because she was separated from them. It is not hard for her to go back and forth because it is next to her classroom. Sometimes she even joined them during break time or at the end of the class. There are just some days that she can't go to them because of their different schedules. One day, their batch does not have a class because of teachers' meetings. And they all celebrated it. Who would not like a long period of break? No one. Some go to the cafeteria, others to the library, or the lobby just to stroll around. For Danica, it is her chance to have time with her friends so she goes to them to have a little chitchat. When she entered the room, she waved her hands, at the same time when Benedict looked at the door which made him assume it was for him. When Danica saw her friends, she suddenly teased Rain when she found out that one of their classmates likes her. She even looked at the guy only to notice he was looking at her. She didn't give any meaning to it and ignored that thought. She continues to talk with her friends and teased each other. They often play games and gossip some hot news. They also go to the cafeteria to buy some snacks and go back after because the place was occupied. Danica didn't know that Benedict was intently looking at her. He likes her smile that time. And it makes him drown more. He makes his hand support his face while looking at Danica. While Kenneth looked at him weirdly. Kenneth looked in the direction where Benedict’s eyes darted. Kenneth fishes out his phone from his pocket and secretly takes a photo of Benedict who was looking at Danica. He grinned at the thought. He chucked their other friends to tell them about Benedict. They just shake their heads and questioned Benedict directly. "Bro, you okay? Do you like her?" Kenneth, one of his friends and Danica's classmate asked him when they saw how Benedict twinkled his eyes while looking at Danica. "I think…. so, bro. What is her name?" he asked while still looking at her and stupidly smiling. He found the girl so amazing. He didn’t even know how that simple wave of her makes him focused like an idiot. "That's Danica, Ben. She is really smart. I think she was originally in this section but, she moved. I don't know what happens. She's our treasurer actually, a very responsible officer. We sometimes want to hide from her because she is really fierce when doing her job,” his friend laughed. “She's beautiful, too,” Kenneth added. "Yeah, indeed," Benedict replied after the long explanation, looks like the word 'beautiful' is what he only heard. Kenneth gazes at his friend and smiles weirdly at Benedict. Benedict realized the looked from his friend so he cleared his voice and sit properly. He just gets his phone from his pocket to distract himself while his friend was laughing. “Want some help from us?” Kael asked teasingly. He just nudges him and raises his middle finger to their teasing. He gawks at Danica but, quickly removed his eyes from her. He must be crazy for liking that smile and thinking about her waving hands. It has been two hours when Danica is with her friends and Benedict continued to glance at her. Until she needs to go back to her classroom because the meeting was ended and teachers push through their classes. Benedict’s eyes followed Danica who was walking out of the room. She glanced again to her friend and at the exact position, their eyes met. Danica wave again to her friends and looked at Benedict weirdly. Benedict cuffed his face because he thinks he is delirious. Danica might see how weird I am because she caught me looking at her! He exclaimed in his mind. Days passed and Benedict was falling deeper and deeper. One of his classmates gets a chance to introduce him to her. Danica remembers the guy but, she still tries to be a friend to him. He tried to make a move with Danica but he failed. He didn't give up and push all his effort even though Danica rejected him many times. But, because of his perseverance and full of effort, Danica started to open her heart even if it is so hard for her. Danica was in the healing phase of her past relationship that’s why she is hesitant to accept Benedict. And knowing Benedict was failed in his relationship, she’s afraid to become the rebound. But, Benedict also tried to fully move on from his past with the existence of Danica. "It's graduation day tomorrow," Benedict started while looking at Danica beside him sitting in front of the sunset.
