Chapter 15

"WHAT?!"

Dawin and Alice laugh internally at their faces, like who wouldn't be? When their faces looks like an i***t.

Mae was the first one to gain her senses and hurriedly said, "wait, wait, Alice, Dawin explain what have just the baby said?!"

One by one agreed but Alice smiled and shook her head.

"Before I explain everything, we should eat first cause I work hard on cooking those delicious dishes. And of course guys! I want you to meet Baby Brian," Alice hesitantly looked at Dawin but she sigh in relief when Dawin smiled at her a little, well only a little but that's okay.

"Our Son," Alice said loud and clear that makes Dawin stop and looked at her in pure disbelief.

Dawin really though Alice will say, he's son only, but when he heard what Alice said, he felt something inside him and it was surely not bad.

Pia can't believe it, how in the world Alice and Dawin did have a son already, heck she didn't even saw Alice's stomach got big. As all she saw is an abs.

Alice then called them from the kitchen and all of them sat in the dining chair.

Alice laugh at them when she noticed the akward atmosphere.

"I can't believe this, guys just act normal and please Jin, stop staring at the foods, we'll surely eat but before that Dad, lead the prayer."

Lucas looked at her dumbfounded and Pia laugh at her along with Lisa.

"Why me though?" He asked, but his wife Mae, smack his head.

"Cause she said so idiot."

Dawin just shaked his head, is that really hard to lead a prayer.

Then Lucas prayed for the food and also them and after that all of them starts eating.

Alice is in between Dawin and her mom Jia.

She was eating peacefully when she felt her mom pinching her thigh.

"Mom?!" She whispered yelled.

"Explain to us everything young lady," she said and Alice nods.

"Alice actually it's my first time to taste these dishes made by you and I must say your a great cook!" Jin speaks while munching a steak and Oliver who is just beside him, looked at him boringly.

Alice blushed and smiled, "Thank you Jin, actually when I live alone before in my apartment, that was the time I also decided to improve my cooking skills."

Dawin just looked at her, a little annoyed on why would she even share that with Jin.

"Jin can you just eat silently," Dawin suddenly said.

All of them stopped eating and looked at him, Pia then smirk and points her fork to Dawin.

"My bro is jealous?" Pia fakely gasp and of course Oliver and Jin laugh, while mocking Dawin who rolled his eyes and ignore them and continued to feed Baby Brian who is just sitting on his lap.

Others go back to eating but the others except Alice's mom, jeremy and cassy and Alice, looked at Dawin.

They never thought they will see this sight, Dawin taking care of a baby in the most gentle way, for the past 5 years Dawin is always cold to others and seeing him being soft now for Brian makes them realize, the real Dawin was not cold but a real soft hearted gentleman, and because of love he changed and resulted for him to be he is right now.

Lucas then felt guilty all over again as he remembered what happened 5 years ago, if maybe he didn't seperate Dawin and Alice, Maybe they now have their own child and became a happy family but just because of a stupid company rules,

Everything shattered, but maybe Brian will be the way, but is it possible though?

All of them are now done eating and Alice audibly gulps as it's now the time to explain everything.

"Speak," Jia said.

Then Alice started explaining on how she first saw Brian outside the orphanage, on how she decided to adopt Brian, when Brian was sick yesterday and bring him here in the house and how Brian suddenly called Dawin as Dadda, she explained everything to them, in details to be exact and now Dawin's parents and Alice mom is proud by Alice's decision after all they also started to Adore Brian.

Including cassy, jeremy, Pia, oliver, jin and Lisa they also started to adore Brian who became happy and giggly when Pia started to carry her and one by one he passed from one persom to another and that resulted for the baby bub to be tired and everyone cooed at him.

And lastly Dawin was the one who carried Brian which Brian dozed off to dream land instantly when he was carried by Dawin.

It's now 10 pm and everyone left already and the maids also was done on cleaning the kitchen.

The others before they left promised to Alice and Dawin that they will be back tomorrow as they will give Brian a lots of gifts.

Brian received a lots of his gifts from his grand parents, aunties and uncles, Even though Brian can't talk and only gibberish words, all of them we're still in immense happiness as Brian seems happy in receiving his gifts, Alice was also happy, seeing his son jumping and clapping his hands cutely. Dawin on the other hand will be killed and kill just to see his son happy.

Yes son, after spending time with Brian after work especially when Alice was late in coming home as she was busy on her drama shooting, Dawin will automatically take care of Brian.

And he realize, Brian is his son, his and Alice's son. Even though Brian is not his biological son, he will still love and protect Brian at all cost, after all, Brian is his son and no one will change it.

Now it's one week after their dinner gathering and now it is saturday and Alice is with Dawin, Pia, Jeremy and Cassy with the other staff.

Today they will ride a ship going to jeju island as the quez wear decided to open a new branch there, Alice will be the celebrity endorser along with CEO, Pia came along with them as in the last trip she didn't come with them to Boracay, all because she is busy.

Now they are all in the port, but Alice is being restless, it's not because of Brian, as she knows he is in proper care right now as her mom volunteered to take vare of Brian until they will be back in seoul next week prior.

Dawin as always, have a cold expression on his face but he also noticed Alice's restlessness a while ago that's why he is beside Alice right now.

The others didn't notice Alice condition because they are busy chatting with each other, planning the things they will do in jeju, while also of course doing their business there.

"Alice?" Dawin spoke finally as he can't ignore anymore the way Alice keeps biting her nails frustatingly.

"Oh?! What?" Alice said, a little surprised looking at him.

"Are you okay? You seemed disturbed?"

Alice dragged Dawin away from the others and sigh loudly.

"I don't know it was just, the moment we enter this port, I feel something not good will happen."

Dawin smiled a little to himself and pats Alice's shoulder a little.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine and are you not excited you'll come to jeju again and of course I know you will buy your favorite tangerine juice there."

Alice smiled, even though Alice and Dawin is still not in good terms, she is okay with this, Dawin is cold but Alice is thankful now that Dawin doesn't seem harsh on her after what happened.

Both go backed to their team and they heard Pia sugh loudly.

"What now?"Dawin asks Pia.

She rolled her eyes and reply, "Bro, your rich why didn't you book a plane going to jeju, instead you decided to travel with ship?" The others laugh and Dawin just rolled his eyes.

"I'm not the one who planned this all, yes we we're going to travel with plane beforehand but I don't know why Oliver instead choose a ship for us."

"So oliver was the one who prepared all of this stuff?" Cassy asked.

"Yeah, I ordered him, in exchange for an day off," Pia hits his head and he groaned in pain.

"You b***h, he is not your personal assistant, well do you even have one?"

"Yes I have one, but he is in leave right now, her wife is sick and no one will take care of her except him."

Pia just nods, "if you say so."

Before they could talk again the announcer announced that their ship going to Jeju is now ready for passengers, that's why all of them started moving.

"Woah, it seems Oliver booked an elite ship," Pia said now better when she saw the expensive ship Oliver booked for the team.

Alice entered the ship with a heavy heart, so she called cassy.

"Yes Alice?"

"Where's my room? I wanna sleep for the mean time," cassy seems worried but didn't question back and just called the crew and asked, where's the rooms located at.

Dawin looked at her and decided to follow, leaving his other belongings to Jeremy who agreed nontheless.

Alice is now walking in the hallway when she noticed someone following her.

"Alice," Dawin called.

"Hmm?" Alice stopped walking and looked at him.

"Are you now okay now? You didn't feel any restlessness now do you?"

Alice smiled and shook her head, " you know me Dawin, one's there is something bugging me, it won't stop even though people around me will comfort me."

"Go to your room," Dawin said shortly.

Alice seemed confused but still nodded as she wants to sleep this negative feeling away.

Dawin comes back to the team.

"Sir Dawin, we will find our room first," the staff said, Dawin agreed and told them we're the rooms located at.

Dawin goes to the resto bar area and chims the bell laying on the counter.

"Hello sir, how may I help you?"

"Um, do you perhaps have Tangerine juice available now?"

The lady smiled, "yes sir we have, do you wanna order?"

Dawin nods and ordered 2 glasses of Tangerine juice.

When Dawin received both glasses in a tray, he holds it and brings it to Alice room, but before he could open the door, he was shocked when he saw the door, it has a paper pasted on it stating.

'room for Dawin Marquez and Alice Marquez.'

"So oliver planned this all?" He says to hinself while shaking his head.

Even though it was also his room, Dawin still knocked, luckily Alice opened it afterwards.

Dawin gives Alice the other glass of juice, Alice was confused at first but when she looked at the glass, she smiled widely to Dawin.

"Thank you!" Alice said and drink the juice while giggling like a kid.

She goes back to her bed and grabs the snack which is in the night table.

"Look Win, they give free snacks!" She said excitedly but Dawin froze on his tracks.

Alice just called Dawin, 'Win', his nickname Alice used 5 years ago.

"Why are you- Alice covered her mouth when she realize what she did a moment ago.

"I'm sorry! Dawin I didn't mean to call--

Dawin smiled a little, only a little and shook his head.

"It's okay, there no wrong in it, it's still my name," Alice just akwardly nods but jolted when she remembere something again.

' why is she so energetic?' Dawin thought while looking at Alice who is now looking him again.

"Well before I entered this room, I saw the paper outside the door, I know you probably saw it Dawin, but is it okay?"

"Yeah I saw it and there's no worry it was booked and done already."

Alice sigh and nodded and decided herself to eat again while Dawin opened his laptop and check his schedule in Jeju and files that he will talk about the client.

The ship's have been departed five minutes ago and Alice and Dawin, well both didn't notice as they are both busy talking with each other.

Dawin was furrowing his eyebrows when he reads a file and Alice who have just glanced at him now looked at him fully when she saw Dawin's facial expression changed.

"Alice you stay here, I'll just go to Pia for a while, there's missing in this file," Alice nods and shrugged her shoulders and decided to sleep so she will save energy for later.

After half an hour, Dawin fixed the deal's a little problem along side with Pia, Dawin bid good night to Pia and goes back to his and Alice's room.

But he smiled when he opened the door and saw Alice sleeping peacefully without any care on her surroundings.

Their trip to jeju is 6 hours and now it was the 3rd hour and Alice who have just woke up a while ago, freshen up and decided to change her clothes in more warm clothes.

Dawin was eating in his bed while watching the television which is playing in the room, while Alice is busy drying her hair.

Dawin was done eating and he decided to go out for a while as Alice was also outside watching the city lights which is now a little far from their ship.

She was mesmerized by the night view and typical girl, opened her phone and snap a few pictures to herself and the nigh view.

She was a little cold but she didn't care as she was enjoying this moment. Luckily her negative feeling which she have few hours ago are now all gone and Alice is relieved from it, or else she won't enjoy this moment right now.

"What are you doing here? You know you'll catch a cold easily," Dawin who is behind Alice said and puts a thick jacket around Alice.

Alice blushed, but luckily it's night and Dawin can't see her face as she was facing in front of the sea.

"Thank you, and it's okay, this rarely happens, you know I'm always busy and if I'm not busy I'm at house taking care of Brian."

"Hm, if that's what you say, by the way--"

Dawin couldn't complete his sentence when suddenly a very strong wind comes across them, that resulted Alice to step backwards.

She close her eyes waiting for herself to fall when a strong pair of arms hug her from behind.

Alice blushed furiously but Dawin didn't notice it as he was busy checking the surroundings, Alice noticed it and instantly faced Dawin.

"Why? Is there something wrong?" Alice asked concerned.

Before Dawin could reply, the speakers around the ship suddenly ringed loudly.

"W-win w-what's happening!?" Alice asked Dawin and now Alice unconsciously holds Dawin's torso.

The speaker stopped ringing and the captain of the ship suddenly talked through the speakers.

Strong winds are now present all over the ship and Dawin hurriedly holds Alice hands and let it holds the railings along also with his hands.

"Code Red! Ladies and Gentleman please evacuate now immediately to the main hall inside the ship, we're sorry to inform you we are experiencing a strong storm surge right now, happening across the south we're we are right now, please evacuate immediately! And be as far as possible from the ship's Railings."

"WIN!" Alice shouted when a strong wind again hits the ship and the door going inside the ship was now covered by a big heavy material used for the ship.

"s**t!" Dawin cursed loudly.

"Alice just hold me okay! And also don't loose your hold in the railings!"

The ship now starts moving in irregular position and Alice was now crying.

"Shh, Love don't cry okay, I'm here, I'm always here," Dawin hugged Alice tightly as possible, both didn't notice that they are calling each other with their nicknames as both we're busy thinking on how to escape and enter the main hall of the ship.

Dawin cursed mentally when he noticed all the path ways we're now covered with ships materials.

Pia is now crying while turning her head from left to right.

"Please sir! My brother and sister is nowhere to be found, please find them!"

The security looked at her with pity but still answered.

"Mam, We checked all the rooms and halls but we can't see Mr. And Mrs. Marquez, we didn't check outside because it's very dangerous and the only available exit right now is the emergency exit as all the path way was covered with the ship's materials that we're damage by the storm surge."

Cassy is now hugging Jeremy tightly while Jeremy was staring at nowhere.

His sister is nowhere to be found and it's very dangerous outside. What will he say to his mother, heck he doesn't even know if ever they will survive as now they are very far from the land and now they are in the part of deep sea.

All the staff, Pia, cassy and jeremy suddenly jolts when the lights turned off all over the ship.

Pia was now a crying mess while holding cassy's hand tightly.

The captain of the ship suddenly appeared in front of them while bringing a flashlight.

He then started instructing the security and Ship's staff to open the emergency exit and let all the passengers including themselves to wear a life vest.

"Win! What happened, why's the light off?!"

Both we're holding on to the railings tightly as possible because if not both will fall to the sea as the ship was now moving abnormally and also the ship's engine was stopped a while ago.

Dawin was supposed to answer Alice when he saw far from their side that there is an orange thing moving and he widen his eyes when he realize they are people moving to the emergency ground while wearing a life vests.

Alice saw it too and started shouting.

But Dawin stopped her as he said it'll be useless as they are very far from them.

"Love, can we move carefully to that side so we are a little near them? Just hold the railing tighly and carefully so we won't fall," Dawin said calmly.

Alice nodded and both started moving carefully in sync. When they are almost near the side, suddenly the waves got stronger and bigger that almost resulted the ship to flip over and both Alice and Dawin accidentally let go of the railings and both fall to the other side of the ship as the ship is now almost flipping over.

On the other hand Pia and the others was now succesfully transferred to the emergency life boats that the ship always prepared incase something like this happened.

The captain grabs something from his pocket and when they looked at it, it was a pyrotechnic, the captain shot it up but it was hid by the heavy cloud unfortunately.

"Please! I'm begging you, my brother and sister they are both still in the ship, please!"

The captain looked at the other security, helpless, all of them knows, especially Pia that it is dangerous to go back in the ship as the ships starts to dip in the sea.

"I'm deeply sorry miss Pia, b-but you obviously saw the ship is now dangerous to enter on it, and the storm surge won't stop any moment now."

Before Pia could reply a man goes to them and bowed to the captain.

"Sir we need to start moving now, or else we won't survive this, the waves is now severe and we can't do anything than to move already."

The captain nods and Jeremy now cried.

"Please my sister, please let's not leave her here, s-she gets cold easily a-and she's scared now I- i know that, please."

The others including the captain looked at Jeremy helplessly, they really pity Pia and Jeremy but all of them can't do anything.

A staff suddenly shouted and all of them looked her.

"What happened?!"

"Sir the ship!"

All of them looked to the back and gasp loudly.

The ship is now fully upside down and it was starting to drown in the deep ocean.

"No! No! No! Dawin! Alice!" Pia stands up but the captain holds her tightly. All of them are now crying, who would't be, the CEO of the richest company in Korea and the very famous celebrity are now gone as the ship was now fully drown to dark deep ocean.

Jeremy stands up also and hugged Pia tightly, cassy didn't even do anything as she knows it is not the right time to be jealous instead she is now all numb when she saw the ship, which is now fully drown.

'Ac! We love you!'

'Alice you did great from the shoot.'

That's what all are running from Cassy's head and she can't take it anymore and started shouting which catches the attention of the others.

"My sister! M-my best friend, please give her to me!"

The captain closed his eyes guilty, he should have not listen to his senior captain who is in seoul, when his senior captain said that it's okay to travel, when the captain even knows that there is a storm happening in their route, but the senior captain scolded him hours ago that if he didn't travel now they will lost a big amount of money as Dawin's company rented the whole ship just for Dawin's team.
