32. Sharing a New Life

Alice POV:

What’s happening?

“Am I dead?” I whispered to Liam, surely I was dreaming, I was about to die as far as I remembered.

“Of course not, you’re here in Atlantes’ castle, your father is here, I’m here, Kathlyn is here too and our babies are just fine” he said and he seemed to be mind-linking someone.

“But…how? I was locked in a room with Patsy and…” I tried to say but Liam cut me.

“I was on the vampire’s realm, I’ll tell you everything when you feel better but Patsy was there with Lucius and I was about to restrict her when I felt your pain and she knew that there was something wrong with you, somehow she helped you and flashed back to his castle with you and Lucius’ father, she asked us to help you and she said that you were in labor” he explained.

“Liam, I…I thought I was going to die” I told him as I started to sob “where’s our babies? What about Kat? Is she ok? My father is also here?” I was hyperventilating.

“Calm down, woman” Hope said. She’s back, Goddess.

I felt like I was going to throw up anytime, I was overwhelmed but I'm still so happy if this wasn’t really a dream.

“Shh, easy, my love” he said as he gently put his finger into my mouth “everything is fine, I already mind-linked them, we had a boy and then our little girl came, she seemed lifeless but Werloth saved her somehow and she’s ok now, I didn’t put any names because I was waiting for you to wake up so we can chose it together” he said and he kissed me, I still couldn’t believe that I was safe, our babies were ok and Liam was there with me.

I missed him so bad that I didn’t want us to part our kiss so soon but we heard the door opening and my eyes was filled with tears of joy.

“Kat, Susan…” I said as they both were coming with my babies.

“This is your little boy” Susan said as she placed him in my right arm “he’s so cute, look at his eyes, just like his daddy’s eyes” she said softly and he was so beautiful, I felt my tears falling on my face, I glanced at him and then at Liam, I was so in love with this tiny baby in my arm, it was a tiny version of my mate.

“He looks so much like you, Liam” I whispered and kissed my baby boy’s forehead.

“And that’s the little girl, she’s a little warrior, she likes to cry and it looks like she liked the Elf King” Kat said chuckling and she made me chuckle, she placed my baby girl in my left arm and Liam got closer, embracing us and I still felt like I was dreaming.

“She’s so beautiful, she looks like a little angel” I said and then I knew the name I wanted to give her “Can we call her Angeline?” I asked my handsome beloved.

“Of course, it’s a beautiful name” he said with tears of joy in his eyes “can we call him Luke?” Liam asked me caressing our baby boy bald little head, he wasn’t bald but his hair was so light blonde that it looked like so, I smiled at him.

“Of course, my love, it’s a real beautiful name, where did you get the name Luke from?” I asked him and he looked down in pain and then at me again.

“My father’s name was Luke” he said and I kissed his cheek.

“I’m sure he’s very happy on Ether knowing that we’re naming his grandson after him” I told him.

“Liam, I still can’t believe that I’m fine and we’re together now, and Kat is here, I’m really happy, I thought that she’d be locked up, I thought so many things, I was so afraid for her destiny…” I told him and he looked down.

“I’m sorry, you were right about everything, Kathlyn was innocent, I should have listened to her that time, I was going to, it’s just…I acted out of rage, I’m sorry you had to go through all the pain because of my reckless attitude” he told me and just then I noticed how my words hurt him.

“I’m sorry, Liam, I didn’t mean to sound that way, it wasn’t your fault, I’ve decided to help her, my instinct were jingling saying that I had to do something to help her, she’s also our family” I said looking at her and she was crying.

“Ever since it’s the apologizing time, I want to apologize to Liam for being so impulsive by letting that woman came in inside our mansion and I want to apologize to Alice to put her in danger because of me” she looked down.

“Kat, you were the victim, you don’t need to apologize, we were all the victims” Liam said surprising me and he was right.

“Well, I have nothing to apologize for, so…” Susan said making us all laugh, I missed her craziness.

“Actually, I want to share some news with you” she said showing her mark and I almost jumped in awe but I had my babies in my arms so I couldn’t.

“Oh Goddess, Susan, I’m so happy for you and dad, I love you both, I’m sure you’ll make a great Luna” I said and she looked a little uneased.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her.

“It’s nothing, you don’t need to worry about it now, just worry about raising your babies” she said smiling but I wasn’t going to give up.

“Come on, we’re here now and we’re all friends, you can tell us anything, you know that” I reassured her and she smiled.

“Well, I’m looking forward to become the Luna and help the Pack, I want to be a great Luna, as great as its Alpha but I don’t know, I just feel like Randall and I could spend more time together, it’s a lot to take, you know?” she said and of course it was a lot to take, I totally understand her, they spent 20 years apart from each other while the bond was pulling them into each other and the bond’s pull was strong, it was harsh and they truly deserved some peace at last.

“I totally understand you, you know how my instinct are, right? And right now, I’m sure that you both will figure things out, we’ll always be here if you need anything and trust me, I’m sure that both of you will have enough time for each other soon” I told her and she relaxed.

Angeline started to cry and Luke was almost sleeping, how can they be so different from each other yet so alike, I was deeply in love, melting all over our babies.

“All right, we’ll get going, Randall also wants to see you but I can tell him to visit you some other time” Susan said leaving with Kat.

“No, please, tell him to come in, so as everyone who was there for me, Liam and I can leave after it” I glanced at Liam “Is that ok?” I asked him.

“Anything you wish for, my love” he said smiling at me and I drooled all over him but I quickly looked back at Susan and Kat and nodded at them and they made their way out.

Werloth POV:

“Hey, she’s awake and she’s fine” Susan told us.

“They’re so cute together, it’s a great family” Kathlyn said.

I smiled at them, I was so happy that everything worked out.

I was lost in thoughts trying to figure things out, I didn’t know why I felt so protective over their baby girl but it was indeed the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen in my life.

Maybe the idea of waiting 20 years wasn’t a good idea, maybe I could hasten the time?

I was sure that I wanted to have a baby now, was it a father’s instinct?

“…and they named their baby girl Angeline” I heard Susan saying the last part, my mind couldn’t stop thinking.

Angeline, such a beautiful name for a beautiful baby girl.

“She was crying again, guys, I think they will leave after they see all of you” Kathlyn said and I rushed over to where they were.

What’s happening to me? I had to idea and didn’t want to think about it right now.

I knocked on the door.

“Come in” Liam said and I opened it making my way in.

“Werloth, I want to thank you for saving my baby girl” Alice said and I smiled back.

I personally didn’t know what happened, my heart clenched painfully when I saw her tiny lifeless body and the first thing that I did was held her close to my chest like my body had a mind on its own.

I wanted to protect Angeline from whatever danger, evil or injuries she could get, maybe it was a father instinct, maybe it meant that I was ready to take a step forward into my relationship with Melian, my chosen mate.

I snapped out of my thoughts with Angeline’s crying over and over again.

I wanted to hold her and lull her to sleep but I wouldn’t ask for it, Alice was her mother and they’re finally together now.

I caressed Luke’s and Angeline’s head softly and she stopped crying, when I parted my hand, she started again.

“Wow, Kat was right, she really liked you” Alice said chuckling “Do you want the Elf King to pick you up?” she asked me and my eyes was glowing.

I offered my arms and Alice placed her again and she stopped crying, I kissed her tiny forehead and she looked intently at me as I looked back at her beautiful gaze, I couldn’t help but smile at her tiny beautiful face.

I lulled her for a while and she fell asleep.

“That was impressive” Alice said smiling looking at Angeline with love in her eyes.

“They just fed them, when we get home, I’ll be with you in our nest for the next days, my love” Liam said to her.

I placed Angeline on Alice’s arm and I took out a handkerchief, it was from my mother and it was important to me so I was always with it placed in my pocket and handed it over to them.

“I won’t be around but I hope it helps somehow, she’s really beautiful, I hope my baby also looks as beautiful as she does when my chosen one gets pregnant” I told them with a smile on my face and they smiled at me back.

“Thank you so much, I’m sure we’ll be using it a lot and you’re always welcome in our mansion” Liam said and Alice nodded reassuring him.

I heard a knock on the door and Randall made his way in.

I hesitantly said goodbye to them, I was sure I’ll be seeing Liam and Alice soon but I had no idea when I’ll be seeing Angeline again and I felt my heart sting over this thought, I would never bother them at their house for my own selfish reason.

Randall POV:

I came in and King Werloth was making his way out, my little Angeline seemed to have liked him, Werloth was a very nice and friendly elf indeed, there was nothing to dislike about him.

I glanced at my grandchildren and couldn’t hold back my tears.

“They’re so beautiful, I can’t believe I’m a grandfather already” I said and Alice laughed, I frowned.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her.

“Dad, really? How old are you? 500? And you say “already?” she laughed.

“A little bit more than 500” I smiled back and winked at her.

“Go to our pack when you feel ready for it, I’m sure Henry also wants to meet them” I said and she nodded.

“Of course we will” she said and Philip also came in.

If I had anything against him, I can say that I get it all back now, he healed my daughter and I will be forever grateful.

“Thank you, Philip” I told him and he smiled at me.

“It was my pleasure, Sir Wolf” he came closer to see the babies “Aw, they’re so cute, I love babies” he said.

“Who doesn’t after the birth rate decreased, right?” I told him and he nodded.

“Philip, I have no words to say how grateful I am, you saved me, I will be forever in debt” Alice said and Liam also stood up and gave him a big hug.

“True, whatever you need, please, don’t you ever hesitate to look for us, you, Atlantes and Werloth are my allies and as soon as Alice and I come out of our nest, I will make it official to my clan” Liam placed his hand on Philip’s shoulder.

“It’s the least we all can do after the war” he said to Liam back and left.

“Well, I don’t want to retard you all” I said as I kissed my grandsons’ foreheads “Just enjoy the upcoming weeks and do not worry about a thing, we’ll be in full alert, pup” I said as I said goodbye to them, I knew that dragons stays on their nest for quite some time after giving birth and since Liam is also a good father and head over heels for Alice, I knew he was also going to stay with her, I was happy and satisfied.

I made my way out and Atlantes was also coming in the room to say goodbye to Alice, Liam and the babies, I saw my beautiful Luna and Kathlyn.

“Where’s your mate?” I asked her, I remembered I saw him somewhere bringing up the healers or something.

“I asked him to leave” Kathlyn said and I frowned.

“Ok, just a little advice, don’t waste too long apart from each other because after you realize it and even being immortals or not, you’ll regret it deeply the moments that you didn’t share with each other” I said looking at Susan who was staring intently at me, there was so much love in her eyes that I couldn’t help it but hold her hand and bring her close to me.

“Thank you so much, Alpha. I will consider it and I will teleport you both back to the pack house” she said and she use the rune to teleported us back and she waved us goodbye and left.

I kissed Susan, our kiss was tender and passionate.

“I love you” I told her.

“I love you too” she replied wrapping her arms around my neck.

“All right, tell me what’s bothering you now”

“What? What do you mean?” she asked me.

“Really? I know you like the back of my hand” I reassured her and she smiled at me.

“Well, all right, I want to be the Luna this Pack needs and deserves, I want to protect them and be there for them” she said.

“Ok, but…?”

“I just miss you, I know that these past few days we were also worried about Alice and trying to plan something to get to her but it was all just too overwhelming, we could barely spend time together like I wanted to” she said and I chuckled.

“What? It’s true, don’t you chuckle over my words and my feelings, Alpha” she said ironically.

“I just smiled because you’re cute and beautiful, sweet and bold, naïve and sexy, you’re everything, you’re all I need and I promise you that in a few decades, we’ll be spending a lot of time together, I miss you too and you know what else?” I asked her and I kissed her hungrily.

“What?” she asked breathlessly after we parted our kiss.

“I’m dying to taste your p***y in my mouth and to feel you clench around my d**k over and over again” I told her and she moaned at my response making me smirk.

I would give her what she needed today, then I’ll talk to Henry, he seems to have a big trouble and he’s not sharing with us.
