29. Alec, The Dragon King

Alice POV:

I was in a fancy room, not a cell.

Patsy made sure to lock me up here and I sighed, what could I possibly do without my powers?

My hand caressed my belly, doesn’t matter what it takes, I have to protect them, I have to help Kathlyn and I have to get back to Liam.

I was frustrated, I didn’t know for how long I’ve been here, a day or two? I wasn’t in pain anymore, I couldn’t mind-link anyone and it was driving me crazy.

“Hope?” I tried to call her without expecting much.

“Alice, we’re going to be ok, we’ll protect our pups” she replied and I felt some tears falling on my face.

“How come I can talk to you? I thought that the bracelet would block you just like it did before” I was curious but I was so happy she was there with me.

“I have a guess, we’re different, we’re hybrids, I think normal devices doesn’t work properly on us” she replied.

“I’m so happy to have you here, it would be harder to go through it all without you but still my powers are gone with this bracelet” I told her honestly.

“I’ll never leave you, we have to protect our pups and make our way back to our mate” Hope said and it made a slightly smile form on my lips.

But it didn’t last long, I heard someone outside the door and it opened by itself.

“Alice, my dear, how are you feeling?” Patsy asked me.

“I’m away from my mate and my loved ones, how do you think I’m feeling? Not that you know what it feels like to have someone you truly care for” I told her and she smiled without seem affected by my words.

“Oh really? I’m more worried about your babies, that stupid dragon that hurt you is probably dead by now, I wouldn’t expect it otherwise from Liam” she said and placed a plate with food at the table “eat something” she ordered.

I frowned, did she actually think we’d be having a lovely daughter and mother moment?

“I don’t want anything from you or any of the other leaders” I said and she rolled her eyes.

“You don’t have an option, sugar pie. You need to keep yourself strong for your babies, did you already forget about them?” she said and I hate to admit it but she had a point, I looked down and she smiled.

“Don’t worry, no one is going to hurt you here” she said and I was pissed.

“Of course not, it’s much worse than that, no one is going to hurt me but my loved ones instead” I said as I stood up and sat on the chair and started to eating, for my babies, that’s what mattered at that moment, I would make my way out of there alive and with my babies safe and sound.

She smiled at me and made her way out.

“I’ll come back soon, sugar pie” she made sure to say it like she was singing it.

Randall POV:

I woke up feeling tingles and electric jolts spreading all over my body, I looked down and saw my mate in my arms, she was awake and enjoying the warmth of my embrace.

I kissed her forehead and she tilted her head up looking at me, her mesmerizing eyes glowing out of happiness and I was as hard as rock.

We were naked and mating like wild wolves in the last couple of days, I let Henry leading the pack and he’s been out yesterday for some negotiations at the Red Moon pack.

“Good morning, Randall” she whispered.

“It’s Alpha for you, female” I told her and she giggled.

I stood up and she was gawking at my hard self, I could smell how aroused she was.

“Then Alpha, tell me, what are your orders for today?” she said grinning in a very seductively way while her fingers was running down my abs almost reaching my shaft.

I lifted her and she wrapped her legs around me, she was soaking wet for me already.

I made my way to the bathroom with Susan in my arms and turned on the warm-hot water to fill in the bathtub, I was still up having her legs wrapped around me and her wet p***y grinding against my d**k, I couldn’t help but place my tip on her entrance and thrust deep into her making her moan loud, I was helping her jump in and out of my d**k on my lap, I sunk my fangs of her marking spot again in reassurance and the horny Shadow howled in my mind as Susan cried out of pleasure.

“That’s right, she’s f*****g ours, I want to go for a run with Aurora too, you’re taking way too long, I want to mate her on the full moon and I’ll make her howl when we mate in the wild” my horny wolf said.

“I’m the horny one, huh?Look at you ravishing that hot she-wolf of mine” Shadow said and I placed him at the back of my mind, he’ll have his time soon.

I thrusted deep into her without taking my fangs off her marking spot and soon she clenched around my d**k releasing all that she had, I kept thrusting in and out a few more times until I released my seeds deep inside her.

Without taking it off from her core, I kissed her hungrily.

I love her and I’ve been holding back this love for way too long, I wouldn’t hold anything back now.

I had our day planned for today, Susan said she had to check on some patients that called for her and I have to check on the pack, ever since Alice found her mate, I dismissed the Omegas, they’re coming twice a week only, I’ve been doing things by myself ever since it was boring days but now I’d go back to business and I’d have the omegas back and I already called Odete, the head of the Omegas to bring all of them back to their normal services, I replaced Adam, the head of the security, actually I killed him after Alice got caught and left with Liam, the new manager of the general security system was Alex and he was doing a great job so far.

I let Henry know about Susan and he looked surprised, of course, but he was happy for us, he’s a truly great friend, Henry is loyal, caring and strong, I hope he finds his mate too, he better than anyone else deserves it, he was a good friend, strong, loyal and if Susan and I don’t have a pup, I’ll make sure he will become an Alpha in a few decades when I find it enough for me, actually, now that Susan is by my side, I'm having other priorities.

"Like f*****g all day" Shadow said with a smile that sounded like a muffled bark.

"Pretty much it" I replied him.

Henry doesn’t need much to become the Alpha, he is perfect fit for the Alpha position, he has a strong and powerful aura and he doesn't even know that because he was always respectful and polite, he used to be very playful before but recently the Pack is taking a lot of our time, but Henry was making our Pack become more independent.

Henry wasn’t immortal ever since he wasn’t an Alpha, I wouldn’t let my friend die like that, he was too good and important but he still has some centuries ahead to go, I was proud to be the Alpha of the Black Moon Pack and forever will but things is changing with Susan by my side, I wanted to dedicate myself for her, it wasn't an easy task to control myself all over these past decades away from her but let’s see what the future brings to our life.

We bathed, changed and I mind-linked Henry to come at the pack house.

We were having breakfast when Henry knocked on the door.

“Seriously, Henry?” I mind-linked him and he made his way inside chuckling.

“Join us, have a seat” I told him and he did as I told.

“Good morning, Henry” Susan greeted him and we all served ourselves.

“I’m so happy for both of you but how come you’ve waited for so long to be together?” Henry asked us.

“Well, actually, Alice’s safety was our main priority, it was hard to stay away from my mate but we knew just a little to nothing about the mate bond” Susan said and I continued;

“We thought that the mate bond wasn’t always mutual and even though it was hard to be apart from each other, you know I had to raise Alice almost by my own, we all know the mate bond and how special it is, we just didn’t focus on its details since I was too busy leading the pack and Susan healing her patients” I told him and he nodded.

“Wow, that was a lot to take, actually, I also want to share something with you” Henry said hesitating.

“We’re all ears” Susan asked and I was also interested.

“I found my fated mate when I was visiting the Red Moon Pack to some negotiations, Alpha Roger offered some products but he didn’t give much details so I wouldn’t tell you now, Randall, but she’s a beautiful she-wolf” he said with love on his eyes but I noticed something else.

“That’s wonderful, the mate bond is special but only for those who cares for it. You deserve all the happiness, Henry” Susan said smiling, Henry gave her a sad smile in response.

“Now, let’s talk about the Mating and the Luna Ceremony” I said changing the subject noticing his uneasiness, I have to talk to Henry later, I didn’t want to see my best friend in pain and I knew that there was something else on it.

All of a sudden, Liam teleported at the pack house.

“We need to talk, it’s an emergency” he said and I saw how serious he was, he was panting and his claws almost elongating.

I just nodded and he told me everything that happened.

“I can’t believe this is happening again” I said with my fingers running through my hair.

“We can’t just stay here, we have to go look for her” Susan said.

Liam POV:

“I don’t need any of you in danger, I just came to spread the news of what happened, I’m going to Atlantes' castle and I’ll shift to Alec and fly over to the Vampire’s Realm, King Lucius doesn’t open his mind-link connection and he took a blood oath with Patsy and he might have some information or he could help anyhow, I don’t know, I can’t take any risk right now, I will stick to any chance I get to find her” I told them, turned my back before they even try to say something and teleported to Atlantes’ castle, he was waiting for me in his office.

“Liam, I want to cast a protection spell on you, you’re going to need it. Mind-link me as soon as you reach there” Atlantes said and I nodded.

I made my way out from his office’s balcony, took a lungful of air.

“Are you ready, Alec?” I asked him, it’s been a while.

“Born ready to fly and burn whatever and whoever gets in between me and my mate” he said and that’s what I needed to hear.

I placed a bag above the table and started to shift, my claws elongated and I could hear my bones breaking and my skin becoming glowing purple scales, my fingers spread out to form my wings, to dragons, our arms and fingers always turns into wings since its strength is extremely necessary to fly, my horns and spikes came out from my braincase bone, another pair of arms grown over my chest and Alec roared out loud like he was free again, he could choose the size he wanted to be but right now, he was in control over 65’6 of pure muscles.

Atlantes eyes opened wide but he nodded at Alec and my dragon couldn’t wait any longer, he grabbed my bag and he took off at once leaving a violent wind behind.

We flew over a couple of hours, it wasn’t as far as we thought, surely Alec hugeness helped to get into the Vampire’s Realm faster.

When we arrived, oddly the vampires wasn’t trying to attack Alec.

He landed on a spacious balcony at Lucius’ castle and we shifted back, I dressed up and I tried to mind-link him again and this time the connection was opened, he knew I was here.

“Lucius, I’m here to negotiate” I told him and he flashed where I was and without even touching me, he flashed us to his office.

“Finally, I thought you didn’t care about your mate’s safety” he said smirking and I had to control myself that time, I was there for Alice.

“So you knew already?” I asked him

“I know everything, besides, I have contacts all over the Realms and let’s just say that the dragons you sent to the mutts’ realm couldn’t keep their mouth shut, so tell me, you want to negotiate, I can help you to get Alice back but there’s something I want from you and we’ll be taking a blood oath” he told me and I stiffed.

I have to be very careful and pay attention to everything he’s proposing for this oath, I couldn’t let anything slip or act on impulse, I can’t trust Lucius ever since nobody ever knew what he’s after.

“What kind of a oath? What do you want from me?” I asked him and he smirked.

“My mate” he said and I frowned, what the hell did he mean?

“What? Do I have to go after her or take her from any place? Is she in danger?” I was curious and his request made me confused, I was waiting for anything, even to ask me to kill someone, but his mate?

“That’s none of your business, I just want you to oath that when I find her, you and your mate will guarantee that she lives in my place” he said and I was so confused.

“You want her to be your prisoner?” I asked him and he frowned.

“Of course not, well, kind of, I want to make her my queen, I won’t hurt her, I just want to make sure she’ll be ruling by my side and she'll never leave” he said and I felt uneased, what if this woman had a family? What if she didn’t want to move in with a despicable creature like him? There was so many things running inside my mind.

“Take your time thinking about it, you can rest on the guest room, I mind-linked my second in command; Amber and she will take you there” he said expressionless and I was making my way out of his office “but Liam, I really hope you can think fast because the more you wait, the more Alice will be susceptible to danger” he winked smirking.

This leech was the worst, his second in command came and showed me the room, his castle was not like I was expecting at all, it was similar to margam castle and so it was its interior.

I had to think about it properly.

“There’s nothing to think about, out mate is in danger, so is our babies” Alec told me and I knew that, I just couldn’t be selfish to sacrifice someone life, Alice would never forgive me, it was a tough decision.

“Look, I’m not up to sacrifice my pregnant mate for anyone, got it?” Alec said and I wasn’t up for it neither, I just needed to make sure that he wouldn’t hurt or force his mate into anything too bad.

“He wants her to be a Queen, how bad can it be, Liam? You’re not thinking straight” Alex tried again and I had to agree with him, if he wanted his mate to be a Queen, then she’d have the same position as him and she would be free anyway, but how could I make sure of it?

“Lucius, how can I make sure that you want your mate to be the Queen?” I mind-linked him.

“Well, just because I’m feeling generous today, I can ensure you when we take the blood oath, I will include it into the oath” he replied and a smile formed on my face.

“And you’re not even going to hurt her” I told him and he flashed to my room and flashed us to his office.

“Liam, you’re pissing me off, I can’t promise you that, hurting someone has too many meanings into it that wouldn’t be possible to oath it, haven’t you ever hurt Alice?” he asked me ironically and I hate to admit it but he had a point.

“Fine, I will make it, what exactly do you want me to oath, then?” I asked him and he smiled.

“I want you to oath that when I ask you for my mate, you’ll willingly bring her here for me and she will leave this realm only after I let her to do so” he said and I frowned, why can’t he be more transparent and straight forward to the point like Atlantes?

I thought about him and I’d mind-link him as soon as Lucius flashes away.

“And where is she?” I asked.

“I haven’t met her yet and I don’t think I will in the next few years” he said and I felt relief.

"Fine, let’s do it"

After a few minutes, Atlantes flashed to Lucius office.

Of course, the blood oath needs a wizard or an elf to get it done.

“I hope you know what you’re doing” Atlantes said through mind-link.

“So do I” I replied.
