*Alice’s POV* “Wait! You can’t be for real right now! You’re meeting the Lycan king!!!” Alice said over the phone. “Yes Alice, but no one is to know I’m here only for business and then I will be home shortly after I am done here okay.’’ Her dad told her on the other end of the line. “Okay, I promise I won’t say anything. But can we go together next time you promised you would take me on your next business trip?” She said to him. “Alice sweetie, I already told you it’s dangerous for you to come here with me. Look how about this, tell me anything you would like and I’ll get it for you, okay?” He told her. “A mate..” she said quietly. “Alice, you know that is not how it works.” He told her. “But you said anything I wanted dad..I’m the only one in our village who doesn’t have a mate..” she cried. “You’re not even 18 yet Alice you will find your mate just give it time okay dear..but look I will call once I’m on my way back okay?” He told her. “Okay but just be careful and safe and don’t do anything stupid or else mom will be mad at you.” She laughed. “I won’t I promise I can’t handle your mom getting mad at me for acting out of character and unprofessional but I love you and I’ll see you in a bit okay and be good for your mom okay.” He laughed. “Okay dad bye love you” she said. “Bye love you too kiddo” he said before the line went dead. ‘Why must he call me kiddo I’m almost 18 I’m not a little kid anymore’ I think to myself before I plop down on the bed “Honey, breakfast is almost ready!” Her mom told yelled to her. “Okay mom I’ll be done in a second” I yelled back to her. I quickly grab a cute black and red fitted crop top with long sleeves and the shoulders cut out a bit, a pair of fishnets and dark blue skinny jeans with my black all stars and I quickly straighten my bangs from out of my face before heading down stairs. “Alice! You will be late for school hurry up if you want a ride you need to hurry!” My mom said as I was coming downstairs. “I’m right here mom..and remember dad helped me get my dream car after i got my license”, I told her. “WHAT ARE YOU WEARING!” My mom yelled at me. I look at her “the clothes dad bought me before school started mom.” I told her. “No go change that’s inappropriate for someone your age.” She told me. “Mom I’m not going to change just cause your the principal of my school doesn’t mean I have to dress like I’m your daughter, now didn’t you say I was going to be late?” I told her as I grabbed a bottle of orange juice and my keys to my 1967 black four door Chevy impala my dad helped me get once I saved the money for it and walked out the door for school. “Alice!..ALICE!..” my mom yells. I don’t know why I couldn’t have been homeschooled my life would be so much easier now that dad travel's a lot more for work. A few minutes go by and I finally arrive at school and pull into the student parking lot and I can already feel people looking at me. God, why must this be happening to me and its senior year. Okay, so let me explain things. I'm Alice Moon, my father is the alpha of the Blood Moon pack in which my ancestors formed hints on why it's called Blood Moon and I know your thinking i'm the popular girl in school. Actually i'm not, my pack takes in wolves whose families are no longer with us, and just before my freshman year we took in this boy in whose name is Alex Young, of course my dad told me that I need to watch out for him due to him being the next alpha to his pack he was sent here by his family to help guide him to being a good alpha for he's of age. When will that be I ask myself, once the next alpha turns 18 that is when they become the new alpha to their pack. Which means, for me sadly Alex will be here to make my last year of high school a living hell. See we share the same birthday and once he becomes of age he will be forced to go home and take care of his pack unless he wishes to combine his pack with another pack and step down as alpha to his pack, which he won't, but once I turn 18 I will become the Blood Moons new alpha and honestly I'm scared to because I know theres that one person who will try to take it from me once I become alpha, but Alex has been talking to my dad about how to go with asking to combine packs, which isn't good for me cause the Young Veil pack are scary to me and I feel like our packs won't get along or someone will try to take over or become rouge. I don't know, hopefully he won't ask, because I don't know what I'll do if he does. I went to step out of my car when I hear a group of girls screaming, which I knew why they was screaming. "Why must every freshman girl lose it when they see him? I just don't understand honesty." I said to myself. I start walking towards my locker trying to avoid eye contact with Alex and his friends when all I can hear is Missy's heels clicking right behind me. 'Dear god, why must she wear heels everywhere she goes, doesn't it kill her feet?' I think to myself before I'm shoved into my locker. "Move it freak!" Missy says as she walks past me to go to Alex as I roll my eyes as the bell rings. *ALEX'S POV* "Hi Alex!!" Missy says. "What Missy I have to get to class?" I said to her. "I was thinking, Maybe you should take me out tonight? You know as a date!" She says. "No thanks." I told her as I shut my locker and walked off to my first period as I hear her gasp as if I said something to offend her. I don't have time to date I have to make sure I'm going to be a good alpha for my pack or I'll have to ask Alice when we take over alpha for our packs if she will allow the blood Moon pack and young Veil pack to combine and I step down from being alpha and plus it will be weird for me to have a girlfriend and then find my mate or they find their mate, like no I'm not going to date for those reasons. As the day goes on we finally reach our lunch period and I go to look for Alice to talk to her about becoming alpha since shes helped her dad with a few issues with their pack and plus Mr. Moon said to go to her when I have a question and hes not around and I know right now hes away on business. Soon enough I finally see Alice and I start to walk up to her when Missy stops me. "Hey handsome!" Missy says. "Not now Missy, I'm busy." I tell her as I walk around her when she grabs my arm. "HEY! I don't care if you are your packs next alpha you DO NOT turn me down I will be your Luna regardless if you like it or not! Got it, I'll be ready at 7 for our date tonight and you better not be late." She snapped. "I'm sorry? You, DON'T CARE!" I say in a low pissed off growl "You do not tell what to do! I am not someone to toy with! YOU MISSY LONGHEART ARE NOT AND WILL NEVER BE MY TYPE NOR MY LUNA FOR MY PACK, SO I WILL SAY THIS ONE MORE DAMN TIME! BACK! THE! f**k! OFF! ME! OR ELSE!" I snapped at her. Alice comes running up moving us apart. "Whats going on here? Alex look at me, please you need to calm down your eyes are turning black again and dads not here to help you turn back okay, so please clam down please!" she crys "And you what hell was you thinking! YOU DO NOT GET TO PICK WHO YOUR MATE IS! YOU ALSO DO NOT GET TO TELL AN ALPHA YOU WILL BECOME THEIR LUNA REGAURDLESS IF THEY LIKE IT OR NOT." Missy's face went pale as a ghost. "Of you heard that..but don't move when you hear me coming" she said pissed. "Yes we ALL did! I don't care if you want Alex or not! He has told you multiple times you are not his type and you still do not listen! so after school I WANT EVERYONE TO THE PACK HOUSE! AND YOU MISSY WILL BE UP FRONT! Now leave!" Alice told her. Once Missy walked away from us and sat with her group of friends upset cause not only did her soon to be alpha chewed her out but another packs soon to be alpha warned her. "Alice I need to ask you something important.." I tell her as the bell rings dismissing lunch. "Okay, do you want to meet up after school and talk about it before we head to the pack house? or no?" she asked "yeah lets meet at your car before we leave" I told her and she nodded and we ended up going back to class. 'Damn why is this so nerve wrecking to ask her for help..I mean will she even help? or if I asked her if we can combine packs when we're both alphas, would she? DAMN IT!' I thought to myself. *ALICE'S POV* I start to make my way to my moms office to tell her I ordered the pack to the pack house later for a small meeting to discuss Alex and I's Birthdays and what would be going on afterwards, but when I arrived she already had Missy and her group of bimbos in her office and it looked like missy had been crying. "Oh good your here Alice, SIT! girls go to the student waiting area" my mom said to us. "Um, okay? I actually need to talk to you about something." I tell her as missy and them leave the room. Once their gone my mom stands up and walks over to me and smacks me across the face. "Have you Lost your mind! ALICE ELIOSE-ROSE MOON!!!" she yelled in a low voice. "Ow, what the hell was that for I didn't do anything!" i said to her. "Oh really! then why is Missy Longheart and her friends saying you told shes to be Alex's Luna regardless if she likes it or not! We do not and will allow that in this school nor pack! is that clear!" she said. "WHAT I NEVER SAID THAT HER MOM!" I yelled to her "I told her after SHE told Alex that SHE WILL BE HIS NEXT LUNA REGARDLESS IF HE LIKES OR NOT! I just stepped in because Alex's eyes was starting to turn black and dads not here to help Alex come back from Jake" "What do you mean she said that to him?" she asked me. "Call Alex up here and he will even tell you HIMSELF on what happened." I told her, and which she does call Alex to her office. "Alex, what happened today at lunch?" she asked him. "Well Mrs. Moon, first it all start this morning when Missy came up to me while I was at my locker before first period and she said she was thinking, maybe I should take her out tonight? You know as a date! in which I told her no thanks, Because I have other things to do tonight and plus I don't like her that way." Alex told my mom "When lunch came around I went to look for Alice when Missy grabbed my arm and told me she didn't care if I am my packs next alpha I DO NOT turn her down and that she will be my Luna regardless if I like it or not! Got it, and that she'll be ready at 7 for our date tonight and that I better not be late. in which i snapped and told her to leave me alone and then that when Alice stepped in." He processed to tell my mom. "I see, and what is it that you needed Alice for?" she said to him. "Mom, that has nothing to do with this. Dad told Alex he can ask me anything if he wasn't around." I snapped. "Young lady, who do you think you are speaking to like that!?" she yelled. "Mrs. Moon its a private matter one which only alphas can know," Alex said to her. "Very well then, Missy come here please!" she yelled, as missy comes in her office a few seconds later. "Yes Mrs. Moon?" Missy says, trying to play the victim. "You will have three weeks in In School Suspension, and you will also apologize to Alex for not only trying to tell an alpha what to do and what they will like but for also disrespecting him and his pack along with apologizing to Alice for lying on your next alpha in which she can banish you from the pack for if she would like!" my mom said to her as Missy's face turns pale as a ghost yet again. "WHAT!!!! She can't really do that my family has been the Blood Moons Beta for generations she can't banish me!" Missy cried. "I can and will if I have to!" I tell her. "No I will not apologize to her when shes in the wrong! Sh-"Missy said "HOW DID SHE LIE? MISSY HOW? We have two people, TWO ALPHAS at that saying the same thing when you and your friends can't get your stories straight!" my mom snapped "Apologize and then get your stuff along with your belongings you will no longer be a student her at blood high Missy Longheart! Me and your parents will also be having a chat about who we see fit to becoming the beta for Alice she finds someone fit herself within your family." "I'm sorry Alex please forgive me and my actions and please forgive my behavior and spare my pack as this is not how we act nor treat other members nor other packs." Missy said to Alex on her knees begging for forgiveness with tears falling from her face. “Missy get up and leave and never cross my path again i will spare your pack but not you!" Alex growled to her without even looking at her. Missy got up and walked out the office crying as her friends followed her calling her name. "Mom I called a pack meeting tonight to discuss not only her behavior towards another pack but also about Alex and I's birthday. I would like for you and Blaine to be there with me please?" I told her. "Of course Alice your our next alpha and if you feel like that the right call then I'll go ahead and call Blaine to feel him in on your wishes and I do have to speak to him and his wife about Missy as she does not seem fit to become beta for the pack." She said as well agreed with her. *3 HOURS LATER* I start to head to my car when I notice Alex standing by my car. 's**t I forgot we agreed to talk after school. "Hey Alex" I yelled to him as I was walking up to him . He looked up from his phone "Hey Alice, thank you for helping me out today at lunch. I appreciate it a lot." he said. "oh your welcome, what was it you wanted to talk about?" I ask him not ready for him to speak. "I wanted to ask you if you think ill be a good alpha..you know since you have this whole alpha thing down." he asked. His Question took me by surprise "I mean honesty I don't think any alpha has it down. But I do know we still have to work on you containing Jake when your mad. But other then that I believe you'll be a great alpha when you become of age and plus an alpha knows what to do and when to do it even if it doesn't seem like it now." I tell him. He laughs a little bit before he speaks again to me "Thank you, I been thinking about it for days now and didn't know how to come about it and yeah Jake has been getting tired of Missy for the past four years now and he just can’t stand being around her anymore with her continually trying to get with me.” “Hey if you don’t mind me asking..but what is your type?” I ask him without thinking. He laughed “I don’t have a type I just don’t want to have a girlfriend and we end up not being mates plus becoming alpha is stressful you know.” He said. “Yeah that’s understandable and tell me about it I become alpha in just a few weeks and I’m scared to become alpha and plus that means you’ll end up leaving so I won’t be able to talk to anyone who understands it.” I tell him. “Yeah shits scary. We’ll be of age to not only become our packs new alpha but we’ll be of age to find our mate’s. And I don’t think I’m ready for that yet.” He tells me as just sit on the side of the car losing track of time. “Hey,can I ask you another question?” He said. “Sure you can ask me anything.” I told him. “If something was to happen and I’m either a bad alpha or end up losing myself would you take over the Young Veil pack for me?” He asks. *buzz buzz* “What the hell?” I look at my phone and its a text from my mom. ‘Hey everyone is here for the meeting Mr. Longheart wishes to speak with you afterwards if your okay with that?’ She texts. “s**t the meeting! Do you need a ride Alex?” I ask as I’m rushing into the my car putting my seat belt on. “Nah your good I’ll meet you there just be safe okay!” He says as he’s running to his car hurrying as well. “Okay you be safe as well” i yell back to him as we pull out the school parking lot heading to the pack house. *MISSY’S POV* I start pacing around the pack house scared on what’s about to down watching my parents speak to Luna Jenna. “What the hell can they be talking about! They been talking since they picked me up from school cause they decided to take my car away from me and ground me.” I snap “Well, you did lie on our soon to be alpha AND the young veils soon to be alpha to OUR Luna about something YOU did Missy.” Rachel said to me. “He shouldn’t have rejected me then I wouldn’t have done it!” I snapped at Rachel. “Okay you know what Missy I hope Alice banshees you from the pack and picks Caleb as her new beta and not you!” Lily cried as her and Rachel walks off from Missy. “Whatever walk away not like I need y’all anyways!” I yelled at them. “Missy!” My mom snaps at me “Quit it you have made a fool of this family for way to long and you will not continue to do so am I clear!” “But mom!” I cried. “Zip it! Not another word from you now come on and take your seat soon to be alpha Alice and Alex just showed up and you better not say a word.” She said as she walked to her seat. ‘Wait did she say they just showed up together? Surly it can’t be? No’ I laugh ‘there’s no way he’ll get with her I’m way better then her. Soon Alex will be mine and I will become his Luna and start a war between the Blood Moon pack and the Young Veil pack all in do time.’ I think to myself as I head to take my seat next to my mom. *ALICE’S POV* I didn’t realize how big our pack was until we walked into the pack house where i can my mom, Beta Blaine and his family waiting for us as we make our way to the table the all stand to greet us properly and blessing us as we greet one another. “Mr. Longheart we can talk after the meeting in my fathers office if you would like?’’ I tell him once we reach our sits. “Yes ma’am I’m humble for you taking the time to speak with me one such short notice.’’ He said. “It’s my pleasure’’ I tell him. I take a few deep breaths to try and calm down when Alex grabs my hand. “Hey you got this just speak about what’s on your mind it’ll be fine.” He tells me and I start to calm down more as I stand up. “ Good evening everyone, I want by to say thank you to everyone for being here. I would like to start off by saying that Alex the next alpha for his pack has asked me once we become of age to become alpha may the gods and goddess not allow any harm to come to him if our packs can combine.” I start to hear people start to talk to each other. “I know, I know, I know, it seems scary and not something our pack has done for years but I Alice Eloise-Rose Moon the next alpha for the Blood Moon pack Promise to take in any Young Veil members that wish to not become rouge with open arms and a caring heart.’’ I say towards Alex who looks shocked at what I said “I pray to the Moon goddess that nothing shall stop you from becoming the true alpha she has planned for you Alex Young but if it comes down to it yes I will allow our packs to combine and treat them with the same kindness and respect you have treated me with. And shall punish those who dare to cause problems for both packs ever again.’’ I say as I look towards Missy. “I also would Missy Longheart to stand please!” I pointed my hand towards her as she looked at her family and then back at me as she stands. “Missy Longheart, from this day on you will no longer be apart of the blood Moon pack!’’ I say to her as the pack yells confused. “SILENCE!!!!’’ Blaine yelled and everyone fell silent. “B-but A-alice!” Missy cries “y-you can’t I’m supposed to become your beta once you become alpha! I have to be a pack member to become your beta!” She cries. “Tho shall not lie on higher up. Remember Missy! And You was never going to become my beta I would’ve never allowed it! As from this point forward Caleb Longheart will become my beta when it is time and Missy Longhear-“ I said. “Alpha Alice!” Missy’s mom cried “please do not banish her! I know she has not been the best me ever but she is our only daughter we will be okay will Caleb becoming beta and not missy as we have known for a while she is not fit to be by your side but please your grace please..spare her..” she cries. I look at my mom who nods at me and then I turn to my fathers beta who also nods at me. “Missy Longheart!’’ I say “You have until graduation to find your mate and leave with them as your 18th birthday is coming soon, if your mate is not in this pack then you are banished until you have found your mate!’’ She looks at me in shock and then towards her parents who don’t bother looking at her as they know the rules that once a alpha has spoken tho shall not go against them even if they are next in line to become alpha but only if their day is less the a month away. “Mom, dad?” Missy cries but they do not speak to her.
