Struck Hard Trilogy: Book 1

Hello, my name is Jacey Mitchell, and I would like to introduce this book, “Struck Hard.” I was inspired to write this book thanks to my love for family, the country, and romance books. I was also inspired by personal experiences that drew me to relate in many ways to my characters. For example, I was sitting alone one day, a young woman in my early twenties, single, and feeling like my life was going nowhere. It reminded me that I had always loved the world beyond my imagination. Also, as a woman with multiple medical conditions and an inability to drive due to epilepsy, my world and travels have always been what some would say are at the end of your fingertips; my adventures are always in my mind. I am my own road map and time machine. Being able to create worlds and beautiful stories with my creative mind is something I will always cherish, and I adore the thought of living out in the countryside with my family and, hopefully one day, raising a family out where the horizon never seems to end. I began writing the "Struck Hard Trilogy" because people need to see that love will always be who you least expect it to be and marriage is never perfect. The person of your dreams could be the person across the bar, the person you sit next to in church, the person you've been friends with since you were a child — who knows, and no one knows what life is going to throw their way. In the book Struck Hard, two single teenagers have the same idea of knowing what they want their lives to be like, longing for the type of life where true love is never a question, where the countryside is right outside their door with the decision to love life together no matter what it may bring their way, but ask yourself: will you become immersed in this book, discovering what the world is like beyond your wildest dreams? How will you relate to the characters' lives in this series?
