Neil took me in his arms and his masculine scent and our spark eased the pain a bit, but didn't make it go away. He lied me gently on the couch and ran for the doors. I saw Neil opening them and running away. How can he leave me like this?! But before I could shout after him to come back he actually returned with Nim and Falco, who lives just down the hall from us.
