Vera looked nonchalant as if this behavior wasn't a threat, but just casual conversation between the two. Carol's eyes almost fell to the ground. Who was it that said not to cause trouble and not to casually speak ill of others? She understood better than anyone when it came to educating her. But when faced with reality, she panicked.
"I also analyzed it. If it's baseless, will she bear a grudge?"
Vera couldn't help but laugh at Carol’s cowardice. If she could divide her brain and use it for logical reasoning, she probably would have earned millions by now.
"It's not exactly baseless. Her bags and clothes are all branded, but her jewelry is just cheap stuff from a street vendor. And she has bruises on her body."
