*3rd person*
As Sophia takes off towards the packs' townhomes with Bree keeping pace, a set of eyes watches from off in the distance.
"A white Wolf whiter than the snow?" They hum to themselves.
"That hasn't been seen since the Moon Goddess walked the earth," replied their wolf.
"We should head back before we get spotted." And with that, whoever this was turned and took off back towards the BloodStone pack.
This person has been keeping an eye on Crystal and her pack since gaining his wolf, realizing she was his fated mate. Grumbling to himself, "I can't believe she is who the goddess chose for me."
He scuffed slightly, causing his wolf to growl in response.
"Mate is beautiful. Mate will make us stronger."
"What do you know?" He snarled through their link. "I have already picked out our chosen and she will be our Luna." He paused for a moment before adding, "But she will produce our pups, not our heir, but our pups nonetheless."
He darkly chuckles to himself as she takes over the wolf's body and continues the journey back home.
It took the man only a few hours to reach The BloodStone Pack. His Beta was waiting out back with a pair of shorts for his Alpha.
"Where have you even been going?" His Beta questioned, slightly annoyed that his Alpha has been leaving randomly throughout the years without a word of where and how long he would be gone. There's been a handful of times he would be gone half the day and almost the entire night, coming home more and more annoyed.
The Alpha wolf growled in response to the Beta's attitude and questions.
"Where I go is none of your concern," The man snarled through their packs link. "If you must know, I have found a very interesting person who just happens to also be my mate," spatting with disgust deep in his voice.
"I thought Katherine was your mate and Luna," The Beta responded in confusion. He and the rest of the pack were under the impression that Katherine was their fated Luna, they just hadn't had the Luna ceremony yet because it wasn't the right time according to the Alpha.
Changing back into his human form, he took the shorts from the Beta's hands.
"And the pack will continue to think that," he replied with an eye roll. "Fated mates are horrible, and you know I personally would never accept someone that I didn't pick out for myself, Bane!" he said with gritted teeth through the link.
Bane took a step back with his hands up in surrender, knowing that another misstep would further upset the already enraged Alpha.
"I'm just trying to look out for you, Dustin. Your parents wouldn't appreciate you shunning the bond and lying to the pack, and you know it," Bane said in a low whisper, which caused Dustin to snap his head in Bane's direction. Dustin's wolf was nearly foaming at the mouth at the reminder of their parents.
"THEY'RE DEAD," His wolf boomed. "The dead have no say in what I do now, especially when my father died shortly before my mother passed from a rogue attack!" Dustin responded after successfully pushing his wolf away from the front. "Do not ever bring them up if you want to remain my Beta. You may be my best friend, but you are not allowed to speak on what those two would have liked."
Bane lowered his head in submission.
"My apologies, Alpha. What do you have planned for your fated?" He asked, attempting to keep the concern out of his voice.
Bane waited for a response, but only saw a sadistic smirk on Dustin's face. He gulped slightly, knowing whatever Dustin had planned, it wouldn't be good and might cause the downfall of their pack.
Little did Crystal know, wolves that are all white are few in numbers due to their purity, but white wolves that seem to see through are unheard of, seeing as the only recorded one belonged to the goddess herself.

*Lizzy POV*
"Do you smell that?" Sophia yipped with excitement through their link.
"It smells like freshly cut grass after a storm," I responded, enjoying the view as we ran past the trees, jumping over fallen logs. I leaned in closer when I realized we were heading towards Charlie's house.
"You don't think?" I asked as I saw the adorable little cottage that belonged to my friend Charlie coming into view.
"It's strongest here," Sophia responded with a purr.
Just as they come to a halt outside of the cottage, Sophia's ears turn back, finally realizing that Bree and Crystal have followed them.
"Charlie?" Crystal asks Lizzy through their link, "He's had the biggest crush on you for as long as I could remember!"
If wolves could blush, Sophia's cheeks would be bright crimson.
As Lizzy was about to speak, the door to the cottage opened and Charlie stepped out.
"Wow!" was all he could manage to utter as he looked at Sophia. "Hello, my beautiful make," the husky voice of Link comes through as he has partially forced himself to the front to admire Lizzie's wolf.
Acceptance swirled in Sophia's eyes as she looked at him. Taking a step forward, she lowers her head into Charlie, which sends bolts of lightning through their entire body, need weeping from them.
"You are absolutely stunning," Charlie said as he stroked her fur. "How about you change back so we can talk. Just think about you in your human form and it'll happen."
I did as Charlie suggested and found her standing as bare as a babe in front of him. Her cheeks become more crimson by the moment as he reaches out to brush her hair behind her ear.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.
"I figured you'd enjoy finding out on your own and getting that first experience," Charlie said while looking into her eyes, not even realizing that Crystal was also present during their conversation.
That's what happens when you find your mate: everything in the world stops, and the only thing you see is your other half.
"Take care of her, Charlie. I know you wouldn't hurt her, but she's still my best friend," Crystal said in a link to Charlie, and only then did he realize Lizzy wasn't alone. Looking up from Lizzy, he took a look at the massive wolf in front of him, his mouth open with a moment of shock.
"Crystal?" he questioned even tho she had just spoken to him.
Bree nodded their head, leaning down to nudge Lizzy gently as a signal that they were going to return to the pack house to give the two of them privacy.
Charlie and I went into his cottage and talked until the sun came up. We talked about everything and nothing at all before moving to the bedroom, where he completed our mating bond and ultimately marked each other.
Marking one's mate during mating is a mind-blowing experience, everything becomes even more heightened once the bond is complete.
I couldn't have asked for a better person to be my mate, and I am going to treasure him until the end of my time.
