Chapter Thirty “Ivy, listen. I’m sorry I haven’t called, but things have been kind of a mess here. I’m still sorting it out, though, and I’ll call you again.” He let the receiver dip away from his lips as he finished the pathetic message on her voicemail. Then he hung up and dumped his phone on his table. Of course she was mad. She had every right to be, considering he hadn’t called her back yesterday at all, but he’d been so focused on trying to salvage his business.
