Amelia had her eyes opened, holding on to her head as she had wondered whether or not she was dead.
She looked around confused, as it sort of looked like she was in a room.
She held on to the cover sheet, as she looked to the sides wondering what had happened exactly.
“How did I get here?” she asked herself.
Amelia sat up by the bed as she could remember jumping off into the waterfall.
She held onto her side, which surprisingly had a bandage wrapped around each end.
As she pulled herself up, she felt a sharp pain down her arm and then remembered she had tripped and fallen over a broken tree branch by the way back in the woods.
Where am I?…. She asked herself.
She looked around the room she was in realizing, it wasn't any familiar place.
As it looked even more furnished than the rooms in the mansion.
There happened to be a big sized keyboard to the left hand side of the room and lots of frames hanging on each end of the room wall.
Amelia tried pulling herself up, standing up from the bed when she heard voices.
She had the cover sheet pulled back to her body as she laid-back to the bed with her eyes closed.
The minute she did that, the door flung open as someone walked in.
She had her eyes opened a bit wanting to see who it was.
Although from her hair, she could tell it was a lady that had just walked in.
The moment she got closer to the bed where Amelia laid, Amelia had her eyes closed completely.
“I know you are an awake young lady,” the lady who had walked in said.
Amelia, feeling shocked at how the lady had known, opened up her eyes slowly as she got a better view of the lady in front of her.
She sat up by the bed staring at the middle aged woman who had walked in smiling at her.
The middle age woman surprisingly was dressed as a warrior herself, a female warrior.
Amelia suddenly wondered why she kept smiling at her since the moment she had her eyes opened.
“Good morning dear!” she said walking over to the windows as she had the curtains pulled open.
Amelia had her hand to her eyes shielding them
From the ray of light peeking through the window.
“Do you feel any better?” The lady asked, still smiling.
Amelia just nodded her head as the old lady walked up close to her wanting to have her examined.
She flinched a bit, when the middle-aged woman took her by the hand.
The lady smiled, staring at her arm, and after a couple of minutes walked back.
“Pardon my manners,” she said, bowing her head.
“I'm Mrs. Kevin,” she said.
“The Beta of the Crimson-Pack in which you are in at the moment” she added smiling at Amelia.
“Crimson Moon Pack?” she asked.
The middle aged woman knew for sure that Amelia had a lot to ask about and so came prepared for all that.
“I knew you were going to ask” she said smiling and then pulled a little stool from the side of the couch in the room pulling it up close to her bed as she sat in front of her.
“Yes child”
“Crimson Moon Pack is a pack dominated mostly by females, having few males to top it all and this pack is ruled by out Alpha and his Luna” she said.
“Your mother and father,” Mrs. Kevin added.
Amelia had her eyes widened as she sat up straight, hoping she had heard the lady right.
“Did you just say my parents?” she asked the Lady.
The lady smiled, staring into her eyes, and then held out her arm.
“This alone right here shows where you come from” she said pointing to a symbol at the top of her arm.
Amelia had always known the symbol to be more like a scar from birth, and never for once knew it belonged to a particular pack.
Her home…
“How is any of all this possible?” she asked, looking around the room and the queen-sized bed she was in.
“Am I not supposed to be dead?” she added.
“Hush!! child,” the lady said.
“No blood of ours dies by water!!” she added.
“Apparently there had been a flood at some point in time in the past, which had washed away most pack members leading to the death of many” she said.
“And the loss of the only daughter of our Alpha and Luna” she added.
“Surprisingly that same water brought you back to us!” she said smiling.
“We found you by the shore of our pack lake” she added.
Amelia was trying hard to believe all she was saying to her at this point.
“And how sure are you that I'm the long lost daughter of your Alpha” she asked staring into the eyes of the lady.
“You look just like your mother, the queen,” she said, smiling as she held her by the hair, caressing her hair softly.
“Her eyes”
“Her nose”
“Her voice…” she said.
“You have them all” she added.
“What else are we to believe?” the lady asked, standing up on her feet as she walked up to the door.
“I will leave you to rest now!!” The lady said, smiling at her.
“You will need all the rest in the world that you can get” she added smiling as she had her head bowed facing her.
“Welcome home Anastasia!!” Mrs. Kevin said, bowing her head.
“Make yourself at home,” she added.
“You can pull up the bell to your side if you need anything” she said walking out through the door as she had it closed gently.
Amelia rubbed her eyes over and over again, hoping any of these wasn’t one of those fantasies in her head.
Am I dead?…
Is this heaven goddess?…
Anastasia?…
Home?!!!!…
