Amelia stood by the door with her dripping self as she watched them both stammer to themselves.
“It was never my intention for you to find out this way,” Her mother said walking up to her.
“Don't touch me!!” she yelled at her, the minute she tried pulling her wet self in for a hug.
“All…”
“All my life, I have been living a lie!!” She said as tears rolled down her cheeks.
“I have always loved and thought of you guys as my biological parents,” She added.
“But on the night my whole world changed in the twinkle of an eye,” She said, snapping her fingers.
“Ami sweetheart, listen to me,” Her mother said, looking straight towards her.
“And now all you care to rant about tonight, was the major fact that I wasn't even of your blood,” she said.
“Where exactly have I gone wrong in deserving all of this?” She asked herself, breaking into tears.
“All of any of that doesn’t matter at the moment,” Her mother said as she held up her hand in hers.
“Says the one person who earlier on, was ashamed over the rejection” she said as tears rolled down her eyes.
“I didn’t mean for you to hear any of that” she said, grabbing her by the hand.
“Take your hands off me!!!” Amelia yelled the minute her mother took her by the hand.
She looked up at her father who had his head lowered to the ground, like he wasn’t a part of what was going on.
And then, at this moment she saw no more reason to stand before them.
As ending it all, was where she suddenly found peace.
Amelia stormed out of the house without a single word to both parent, as she cried on her way out.
“Ami!!” Her mother cried out as she ran out of the house.
She ran as fast as her legs could carry her, like she was running from a whole pack of army running after her.
As she ran ahead, she didn’t even bother turning but all she wanted was to get away from everyone and everything.
She had been so carried away with running away and having herself killed, probably jumping off a lagoon that she didn’t see there had been a separate route out of the way.
Amelia had fallen over a broken tree branch by the way, leading to her falling over the seperate route leading elsewhere.
She had scratched her arm falling over as she rolled down through the shrub’s floor for a couple of minutes and finally came to a stop.
The rain had suddenly reduced a bit, but didn’t change the fact that she had caught a cold under the weather.
She pulled herself up in the dark, as she held onto her sprained arm.
Amelia wondered where exactly it was she had fallen, but didn’t care anyway.
She moved away from the spot she had fallen in from, as she was now in need of a Lagoon to jump off.
Walking down the lonely path In the dark, with the rain still pouring a bit she felt miserable with all that had happened within seconds.
Thinking about it all, she couldn't help but burst into tears as thoughts of finally having herself killed invaded her mind.
As she walked down that lonely road, she heard running waters.
“Good,” she muttered to herself.
She had concluded the moon goddess didn't want her either, as she had sent to her a solution to all her problems.
Amelia being so desperate in taking her life, had her steps increased following where the sound of running water was coming from.
A couple of minutes afterward she had gotten up to the point where the running water had been coming from.
And it turned our to be…
A waterfall.
She gulped down the lump that had gathered up in her throat, seeing how far the distance from up where she was to the ground.
As she stood there, she had a reflection of all that had happened a while ago.
Firstly, she had been rejected from his chamber and taken to the ballroom where he had her rejected publicly.
She held onto her chest as thoughts of what had happened back at the mansion cut right through her heart like a knife.
And then, the one man and woman whom she had known to be her father and mother turned out to be random strangers from the very beginning.
“Haven't I had enough for the day?” she yelled crying out in pain.
“What exactly was my offense getting rejected?” she cried out.
She took a few steps forward to the edge of the waters as she had her eyes down to the waterfall.
Scenes where she had been humiliated, played over and over again in her head as she stared down into the water.
At a point she had been scared, but thoughts of backing out of killing herself never crossed her mind.
She was more than ready to have herself killed.
Amelia, feeling sad, and hopeless of finding another mate, took more steps forward.
The wind blew alongside, as she shivered alongside.
“Ending it all would be more peaceful than getting to be laughed at by my peers” she said to herself.
“I have nothing else to fall back on!!” she said to herself.
And then, in that little moment of her last thoughts she had her eyes closed opening up her arm and looking up into the sky.
“Forgive me goddess!!” she uttered her last words as she had her eyes closed jumping into the waters.
She had fallen deep into nto the waters, and had slowly given in to be carried away b the waters.
Amelia never struggled while in it.
Instead she held her breath letting go off everything, holding her back from giving up completely.
And then, she finally gave in to the feeling embracing what she felt could be death.
She passed out…
