Chapter 3: Preparation for the Gala Event

Ava started to see how the gala organisation takes place, what all she has to do as it's her first time organising for big charity events like this. After noting down everything that she has to do, She called for the meeting with her team.

Her team consisted of Media person Rachel, Content Creator Sophia, Financial adviser Paul, Minerva Community relations.

Ava informed that they have to plan a charity gala, which is happening in less than two weeks. Paul, I want you to find the business and organization that we could partner with, make me a list. Minerva, find me a list of charities and any business that would be willing to sponsor the gala. Sophia, I want you to work on creating press releases about the company donating money and hosting the gala, and invitations to send out. Rachel, you can work on setting up interviews with Mr. Ethan Blackwood, he's the face of the company, I want the whole of California in love with him. I want you to work with IT on a website and any social media pager. Does anyone have any questions?

As everyone said no Ava left the room thinking why did she feel a bit odd while telling she wanted the whole of California to love Ethan, she was confused as this was all foreign thing for her.

Growing up Ava had a tough childhood, as she grew up in an orphanage, all she wanted was to get good marks and settle in good company with a good salary. So she didn't have any time for love and all. Ava continued with her work with all those foreign thoughts about Ethan in her mind. And as the day came to an end, she filed everything that was done and closed the office door. She went to the elevator only to see Ethan standing near the elevator as the VIP elevator in the office had some problems. When the elevator door opened Ethan got inside, and was waiting for Ava to get in, but Ava was batting with herself whether to get in or not. So Ethan told her to get in, at that sudden voice Ava clumsily got in and thanked him. When the elevator hit the ground floor Ethan got off the elevator saying bye to Ava, she was shocked to hear her boss say her bye but yet she replied to him bye shyly.

Ava was thinking how hot her boss was, and was thinking about his handsome face, ripped muscles and how tall he was compared to her, Ava herself was not short she was around 5.6ft but Ethan was 6.2ft beside him, she was looking like a small girl.

Ethan went outside just to see his driver waiting for him, he was thinking about how beautiful Ava was, and how he wanted to kiss her in the elevator while she was standing in front of the elevator. All he could think was about her perfect round butt, how it would feel in his hand. Thinking about Ava made him realize, he was feeling the feelings he never wanted to feel after the incident with his Ex-girlfriend. He was angry with himself and thought of staying away from Ava.

Ava reached home, where her best friend Emily was eagerly waiting for her. As soon as she saw Ava, Emily began to question how her day was, and did she meet California's hottest, handsome bachelor Ethan Blackwood. Ava sat down on the couch and said oh yes my day was great and yes I met my boss. To which Emily asked is he as hot as he is in news and magazines. Ava replied shyly and with a smile yes. Emily squealed and said Oh My Goooood Ava you also like Ethan, finally goody two shoes is liking someone besides the books which means Ethan must be really handsome, Emily says with laughter. Ava laughed at her comment and left. In her room, Ava was thinking she really liked Ethan? or was it just some kind of attraction which will go after sometime, she thought she would see about it later and went inside the bathroom to freshen up. She got fresh up and came out, laid down on her bed with a novel in her hand, which is how she would get sleep, only after reading one or two chapters.

Ethan came to his house which was in the niche location of California. He went inside and greeted his house help Marta who was with him since his childhood, she was a mother like figure to him. His mother sent Marta with him when he wanted to live alone. Marta greeted him and told him to freshen up and come down for dinner, as she made his favourite dinner Spaghetti and steak. Ethan thanked her and told will be down in an hour.

Ethan went to his room, called his PA Alex to ask about what he found out about Ava. Alex told him that Ava Windsor was an orphan and grew up in a small orphanage in California. Where she was mostly bullied and was made to the works of others, as Ava was soft, kind and didn't know how to stand up for herself. Mostly she was alone as she didn't have any friends and used all her time to read. Ava's fun time was to read novel books which were available in orphanages. Ava was very good at studying. Ava went to college because of her scholarship which was actually funded by Blackwood Enterprises mainly his father. There Ava met her best friend Emily with whom she is currently living with. Ava was really a good girl, she always used to study and never had a boyfriend or even a fling. And Ava used to work at a small company as a part timer where she used to handle those small charity events and parties. And also she used to work in a bakery as a pastry chef in the night time, and baking was her happy time. And as an employee Ava was really good.

After hearing all these things about Ava Ethan was struck in part, that Ava had not even a single boyfriend or any flings and that made him curious again.
