Chapter two: First meeting

JEREMY’S P.O.V I stared right into my beautiful mate’s perfect blue eyes that contained some sort of silver flower.  She looked shocked to see me, in lack of a better word.  Her face was oval-shaped and pale, with big bright eyes, a small - straight - nose, and plump rose-colored lips. Her hair was long and ended at her hips, it was thick and looked so silky I just wanted to touch it. It was dark brown with a hint of burgundy red in it.  Her arched eyebrows furrowed as she caught me staring. I just smirked much to her confusion.  Just as I was about to introduce myself to her the teacher burst into the classroom.  It was a man in his mid-forties with glasses, grey hair and a brown suit. He introduced himself as Mr. Brown. Suiting I thought, and immediately turned my attention towards my mate that for now had no name.  After a while, she turned to me looking quite annoyed.  "What’s your problem? Are your eyes glued to me or something!" she hissed quietly.  Well she has personality at least.  "Um..." was all I managed to say.  "Great work, how do you think it’s going?" my wolf growled sarcastically at me.  As I was about to answer him my mate snapped me out of my little bubble.  "Sure, if that’s all you can say..." she said looking strangely at me.  Then she turned her attention back to Mr. Brown. I didn’t know what to do so I copied her and looked forward as well. But I couldn’t focus when I felt her sitting right next to me. When the class was finally over my mate rushed out of the classroom at once. I quickly followed her.  "Hey, beautiful!"  I said while grabbing her shoulder and turning her towards me, at first she looked shocked but then her eyes darkened.  "Don't call me beautiful!" she said dangerously calm.  I was quite stunned by her comment, most girls loved to be called beautiful.  I opened my mouth to answer her, but she didn’t give me time enough as she continued.  "You thought I was just some pretty, dumb girl whose knees would weaken when you talked to me? Just leave me alone."  She gave me one cold look and strode off to the moon goddess knows where, and I was left looking like a complete i***t.  "You kinda deserved that you know?" My wolf said inside my head.  Seriously, you choose to say something now? I was quite annoyed with him.  "Hey, that's not fair! It’s not me who made a complete fool of myself in front of our mate you know. May I remind you that that was all you?" He laughed at me, but I could feel that he was just as disappointed as me. LIBERTY’S P.O.V I looked at the boy in front of me feeling my annoyance rise up inside of me.  Nobody called me beautiful, not him, not mom, and not Fran. I hated being objectifyed like that, like my looks were everything. I took a deep breath and studied him coldly.  He had brown and yellow eyes, a chiseled jaw, with full lips, a defined nose, and pale skin. His raven black curly hair was all messy, like he had just brushed his fingerst through it once before coming here. He had a lean body with toned muscles that showed through his t-skirt, but I didn’t care if he was handsome or not.  All I could think about was how he had talked to me. Even though it felt like I stood there for a minute I knew it had only been a second. I gave him one final hard look and then I turned away and strode after Francesca.
