Drama Queen

I am late from my university, so I practically sprint toward the Gothic building standing in the secluded area from the city. With my wet shoes and snowy road, I almost collided with a tree. When I reached the iron gate of the building, I greedily gulp the huge amount of air to normalize my breathing. After taking books from the locker, I started brisk walking toward room number A10075 for my history class. Mr Adam is taking the roll call, so I enter the class and after apologizing for being late I sat down beside my friends Edward and Karl. These two monkeys are like my lifeline. Nobody likes to get on their wrong side. Edward comes from a billionaire's family with a lot of connections. Karl is an MMA Fighter with a lot of winning records at hand. But with me, they are like five-year-old boys. We always mess around. Mr Adam finishes the roll call and gains the class's attention by saying that "Today a new student joins our class" He gestured toward the back end of class. "Please welcome Zeus Matthews," Mr Adam said. Suddenly, I forgot to breathe even though I haven't turned to see the new student's face but I feel like something came out of my body and it slammed into the new student's back which is facing me while he stepped down from the backbenches. He stops for a millisecond but he finally reaches the professor's desk. He faced the class and directly stared into my eyes. He was not a boy but he is a man with a mysterious aura. His gigantic body frame is almost tiring the clothes.He is out of everybody's league here. He is like a true Zeus (Greek God). I feel that my monkeys are also affected by the same aura. "Hello," He said while shamelessly staring in my direction. His voice is heavy and husky. I heard a collective gasping of my female classmates which broke my haze. I divert my attention toward my books. After few seconds Mr. Adam called out my name and said: "Rosie from now on you are going to sit with and help him to cover our previous syllabus. And Edward you are going to sit with Athena and as for Karl you will be sharing a desk with Bethany." I can feel penetrating stares of everyone on me which can easily burn the hole in me. ... In the remaining class, I was trying to figure out this weird scenario while fighting my attraction toward him. I am the biggest nerd you saw. I always wear baggy clothes, an oversize hoodie, loose jeans and a pair of sneakers, but my face takes the most blame. The glasses are bigger than my face, and there is not a single trace of makeup and in the last hip length long jet black hairs (in a messy bun). This is my regular uniform. Zeus and I are polar apart, something in me said that I should start dating this magnificent creature, well we will see what future hold for us.
