Chapter 4 Begging

1065 Words
When Jessica had a splitting headache, a slightly familiar voice suddenly said from above her head, "Are you waiting for me?" It sounded deep and charming. "What?" Jessica slightly raised her drunken eyes, looked at Howard's perfect face, and asked, "Who are you?" His cold face instantly became gloomy when he dangerously leaned over and whispered into her ear, "You are good at playing hard to get. But it will make me dislike you." Jessica drunkenly laughed and hooked one arm around his neck. When she opened her lips slightly, the red wine aroma blew into his ear. Then, she charmingly said, "Get lost!" The corner of Howard's mouth twitched when his eyes flashed with coldness. After all, no one else had dared to speak to him like this before. After speaking, Jessica closed her eyes and limply fell into his arms because she was drunk. … When the first ray of morning sunshine came through the window and crawled onto the bed, Jessica's biological clock woke her on time, although the hangover made her dizzy and suffer a splitting headache. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw a perfect, handsome face at a close distance. She was startled and quickly moved back. Unexpectedly, she fell off the bed because she had been sleeping on the edge. When her body hit the floor, she screamed in pain and woke Howard on the bed. When he slowly opened his eyes, his dark eyes had no warmth. "What did you do to me last night?" Jessica quickly looked at herself. Fortunately, her clothes were intact. And she did not have any other physical discomfort. "Don't worry. I'm not interested in having s*x with corpses." Howard stood up and stepped over her, intending to go to the bathroom. Jessica was at a loss for words because he scolded her for being as drunk as a corpse last night. Seeing him stepping over her, she got furious, grabbed his ankle, pulled it hard, and angrily said, "How can you be so rude? Ah!" She cried in pain before she could finish speaking because Howard lost his balance and fell on top of her. She almost died when his tall and robust body knocked her down against the floor. "Are you dissatisfied because I didn't touch you last night?" He didn't immediately get up. Instead, he put one hand beside her head, raised her chin with the other, and pushed his sexy lips close to her ear. It was a subtle distance, so the air in the room instantly became romantic. Jessica dared not move when she said, "Can you get up? We can talk." "You were arrogant just now. How did you scold me? You blamed me for being rude, right?" He raised his eyebrows, showing no intention of getting up. Being pressed by him, Jessica had difficulty breathing and said, "You heard it wrong." He asked, "Are you doubting my IQ?" She said, "What exactly do you want?" He replied, "Beg me." She said, "I beg you." He said, "You are insincere. You seem to like me pressing you like this at heart." She said, "I have something to tell you." He said, "I don't want to listen." Jessica abruptly closed her eyes. When she opened them, she pressed the back of his neck and fiercely kissed his lips. When their lips touched each other, Howard was stunned by the sudden acceleration of adrenaline secretion. Was she forcibly kissing him? He had not expected anyone to dare to do such a thing. Jessica took advantage of his distraction and bit him hard. Instantly, the taste of blood filled their mouths, lips, and teeth. His pupils shrank in pain when he reflexively pushed her away and sat up. She got up, ran out without hesitation, and soon disappeared from his sight. "Do you think you can run away?" Howard slowly licked his lips with a gloomy look in his sharp eyes like a wolf eyeing its prey. … After escaping from Howard, Jessica quickly went to the school dormitory, showered, and changed clothes. She had only requested two days off to deal with the divorce, so she must go to work today. She was an English teacher. When she arrived at the office, the doorman called and said someone had brought her suitcase and phone. Jessica thought the comer was Gail because she had left her apartment suddenly and left her suitcase and phone there yesterday. However, she saw the slender figure deeply rooted in her heart when she walked toward the security booth. It was Chris! She suddenly stopped her steps, turned around, and hid behind a stone pillar, having difficulty breathing. It was time for students to enter the school, so the gate was open. Many parents drove their children to school. "Ms. Blake, good morning!" Suddenly, a clear voice brought Jessica back to her senses. Looking back, she saw a cute student in her class named Fiona Black, who was Queenie's sister. Queenie used to send her to school. But she was pregnant now, so she had asked Robert to drive Fiona to and from school. Now, Robert was standing next to Fiona. He had expected to meet Jessica at the school gate. When their eyes met, they were startled. Then, he stepped forward and gloomily asked, "Why didn't you answer my call?" They were divorced, but he had still self-righteously asked such a question. Jessica thought it was funny and indifferently said, "Why do you think I should answer your call?" She had left her phone in Gail's apartment yesterday. She wouldn't have answered his call if she had brought it with her. Robert was at a loss for words. When they had gone to get the divorce certificate two days ago, her expression had also been so indifferent. Suddenly, an inexplicable anger grew in his chest. He leaned closer and viciously said, "This is why I wanted to divorce you. You always look so cold that you make me uninterested in having s*x with you." Jessica wanted to slap him, but they were at school. So, she said, "Robert, don't make me regret marrying you for a year. Remember what I said! Please stay away from me. We have nothing to do with each other now." She almost ran into a man's arms when she turned around to go to the classroom.
