The Meetings

Casey’s POV

I slowly open my eyes and see I am in a dark room I think back to myself what was the last thing I remember.  Yes, it is coming to me I remember smiling at Sam and passing out.  I was talking to Liam about who I was and what I knew.  Did he hurt Sam, where is my Sam I yell, “SAM.”  Aaron bursts through the door and says, “what is wrong my queen, what do you need I can get whatever you want.  Sam is with his wife then he was going to lay down for a while and come back when he wakes.  Is that ok, I can go wake him if you want.”

I shake my head no and the next thing I know someone else is bursting through the door rushing to me.  Bombarding me with questions about my health and well-being.  I start having a small panic-attack, I start hyperventilating, everything is getting fuzzy, the room starts spinning, I start freaking out.  When Sam comes running in the room wraps his arms around me saying calm down, calm down you need to start breathing.  You are having a panic-attack breath through your nose out through your mouth just breathe nugget.

I look him in the eyes then breath like he says and feel myself calming down.  I put a small smile on my face and say, thanks you are always here when I need you.”

He says, “it is my job my queen to always be here when you need me, but I do need you to meet my wife is that at all possible.”  He gives me a little laugh and I nod with a smile. I will do whatever he needs as long as he is always by my side.  I look at Liam and see the tension on his face, with my lip poked out I walk over to him place my hand on his arm and say, “you just surprised me that is all.  I became overwhelmed by everything I usually do not walk up in a strange place surrounded by things I am not use to.”

Liam looks at me, nods his head opens his mouth and says, “we need to talk.”  I nod my head and he starts, “I need to ask you to do me a favor.  I need you to meet Alex’s wife she is having a hard time with Alex.  She is also different from the rest of us meaning she is not a werewolf but a human I know.  I thought she might be able to give you some advice on how to deal with being with a wolf.  She might be able to help you understand the difference in how we feel things and how you do.”

I looked at him with a questioning look on my face before I answered, “yes that would be fine maybe I could ask her a few other things that I am curious about.  Would that be ok if we talked about other things.  Or do I need to stick to some script that you give me.”

Liam looks at me and says, “you can talk about whatever you want or do not even have to go if you do not want to, but maybe Sam’s wife can come to a small group of people that are on your side that you can have as more support for yourself.  Whatever you need my angel you can even order what you want from the kitchen and have set up for you.  Steph suggested the library as it would be darker than any other room in the house and have nice surroundings.  If you want something different just let me know and I will take care of whatever you want.”

I get a mischievous smile on my face and say, really you are going to take care of it or have someone else do it.  When was the last time you really done anything.?  I bet you delegate everything to be done by everyone else.” I wrinkles my nose and giggle at him.

He face lights up when he hears me giggle and he says, “I promise I will handle everything personal just for you I can and will work just for you and only you my angel.”

I smile at him and my stomach growls he looks down at me and says, “are you hungry.”

I said, “yes I have not eaten since I left home without eating, I just wanted to get Sam here before his wife went into labor.  That is something no dad should miss not even for their queen.  What kind of queen would allow that to happen anyways?  If I matter that much to him, he should matter that much to me. Yes, I am really hungry.”

Liam asks, “what do you want I will get whatever you want you tell me I will have it delivered.”

I shake my head no then say, “can I cook?”

“Are you sure,” he asks me.

I look at him and say, “yes please I do not like anyone waiting on me I am fully capable of taking a care of myself.  Will you show me where the kitchen is?”

He takes my hand and starts leads me downstairs.  I run ahead and start to giggle his face lights up again and says, “If I care you we will get there faster,” I let out a laugh and say, “of course,” I look over his shoulder and say, “are you not all coming too.”

Everyone looks at me and says, “of course we will come.”

He runs me down the stair caring me in his arms while I was giggling the whole when we get to the kitchen, he sets me down and I run to the cabins with a light in my eyes.  I start opening cabinet doors looking for what I want when I find it, I start setting out pans I go the fridge and get the food I need out.  I look for a big bowl grab and start breaking the eggs into the bowl.  I turn to the stove and get out the bacon, I love bacon it is my favorite food, I start placing it in the pan, once I the pan more people walk in the kitchen and say we smell bacon.  I giggle a little again with a huge smile on my face.  I go back to the eggs and add the seasoning that I like carry them over to the stove and put them in a skillet to make scrambled eggs.  I am busily[kb1]  running around the kitchen to find what I need when I start setting the table. 

I hear Sam say, “queen I have brought someone to eat with us will you please turn around.”

I turn to see a very pregnant woman about as tall as Sam with that beautiful pregnancy glow. Holding on to his side she seemed very scared and timid.  I walk over to her as I am drying my hands on a towel when I wrap my arms around her saying, “oh my god you must be the beauty that has stolen Sam from the world.”

She giggles and says, “you must be the queen that keeps me so busy and away from us as she rubs her belly.  I look at here with a smile and say but I bought him home just in time.  Any day I am guess” she nods. 

Sam looks at me and says I hope you would do the honor of delivering my baby.

I say, “no I will not.”  Everyone gasps and has a look of shock until I say, “I will however deliver the twins she is caring,” everyone looks at me with a shocked face. 

Her eyes get huge, “twins she says how do you know?” 

“The way your body is caring they, you are having twins my dear they will be big twins by the way.”

Sam runs over to me and scoops me up in his arms and says, “oh my Goddess what would I do without you queen?” 

I said, “put me down and go to you wife dummy, shaking my head, I am cooking let me go.”

He sets me down and runs over to his wife, while I go back to the stove to finish cooking when everything is done, I set it down on the counter and look at everyone, then say, “I hope you enjoy my small fest.  This is my way of saying Hi to those of you that are here.”

Liam sets up and says, “you were the one who was hungry you should eat first everyone here can wait until after the future Luna gets her plate as the Alpha, I insist on it being this way.”

I look at him and roll my eye at him and say remember I told you I would not take orders well I am no better then anyone here eats at the same time as I looked right at his face.  I will eat after the women and children you cannot ask me to change that I have had that beaten into me over the course of a lifetime.  I cannot change that just because you simple command it.  Everyone in the rooms goes silent you can feel the tension between us finally Sam steps up and says queen look around at what you are doing everyone is scared calm down your aura is taking over the room.  You are hurting people I instantly took a deep breath to calm myself and back away slowly.  I start saying, “I am sorry to everyone I do not know what has come over me I am not this kind of person I do not do these things.”

I back into a corner trying to hide when Liam comes over to me and says.  No, I am the one who should be sorry I should never have commanded something of you.  I need to learn patients with you my angel can you forgive me for my actions.”

I shake my head and say, “only if you forgive me” with a small smile as I look up into his face. 

He smiles back at me and says, “of course my love anything for you.”  

Aaron walks in unaware of everything and says, “do I smell Bacon.”

I let out a small laugh and say, “look who smelled the food, shaking my grinning face and small chuckle.  I then tell, everyone to eat up.” 

As we all set around the table and eat a midnight snack as it were, I am asked questions about who I am and when I plan to seal the mate bond with the Alpha.  My face turns beet red and say that I do not think I am quiet there yet with a small smile.  Everyone around me starts yawning and I can see that I need to clean up and let everyone get to bed.  So, I say why don’t you all head to bed and I will clean up, I like the nighttime anyway.  I will take care of everything everyone just get some sleep I may need your help tomorrow if that is ok.  You do not have to if you do not want to thought it is your choice.  Everything I ask is your choice I will never force anyone to do anything against their will. Ok I want to make friends not enemies I have lived with fear my whole life, I will never put someone else through that pain. Everyone nods and walks out to their rooms in the pack house everyone but Liam leaves.  Comes up behind me and says I would love to help you my angel, I will stay here as long as you do.

Sam comes up and says, “I can help my queen.”

I look at him and say no take your lovely wife to her room to her bed, she needs rest she is your priority until after the twins are born do you understand.  I am sure Liam and Aaron can protect me while you tend to your wife for the next few days.  I will be here when you get back do you understand he nods, and she smiles mouthing thank you to me.  I nod my head at her and say now get to bed young lady you need rest.

 I go back to cleaning things up when I hear Liam say, “what can I do to help you my love.”

I shake my head at his words and say help me with the dishes please,” nods his head and walks over to the sink. I start washing and he rinses the dishes I point to the bacon plate; he brings it over to me before he dumps the leftover bacon pieces I say don’t please.

He c****d his head and say, “ok why?”

“Will you feed them to me, you never throw away bacon what is wrong with you,” I say smiling at him.

He looks at me with a smile and says, “of course my love I will feed you anything you want.” He walks over to me picks up a of bacon and slowly moves it to my lips.  I move the bacon into my mouth with my tongue as my lips graze his fingers, I let out a small moan and he let out a low growl.  His eye drifted to mine as he slowly pulls his finger away from my mouth down the side of my face resting under my chin, so I cannot look away.  He then says, “I believe you will be the death of me little angel.  You are driving parts of me crazy they should no be.  I think we need to finish the dishes so we can go to be, before we both do something, we regret my little angel.” 

I nod my head and go back to the dishes in the water, I look at him and ask, “where will I be sleeping tonight?”

He smiles at me and says, “in bed with me angel, where else do you think I would let my love sleep?”

My eyes grow big my mouth hangs open and my breath catches in my throat.  He just laughs and says, “I will not do anything to you just lay next to you, my arm may end up laying across you though.  I will not do it on purpose though my body will you next to it while we sleep, and my wolf will want to hold you.  I am sorry but he will not let you stay anywhere else he will want you right next to him.”

I have another question for you will I get to meet your wolf someday?  I have met Sam’s what will yours be like?  Sam’s is blonde like his hair does that mean yours will be brown, is that how the wolfs color is picked based on your hair color?”

He smiled at me and said, “slow down no our wolf’s color is the color of the wolf.  My wolf is jet black with red eyes.  If you would like to meet him, I can arrange that he would love to meet you.  I am upset that you met Sam’s wolf before mine, but I understand why he showed you.  You needed to know the truth of what we are.”

As he set the last pan on the strainer lets go to be little one.  He scoops me up in his arms and says, “I will carry you my love, so I know you make it.  I do not want you to stumbling around in the dark, I have night vision so I will carry you for your own safety,” he chuckles at me.

I let him carry me upstairs and once we reach the top of the steps, I ask another question just before we enter the bedroom, “what will I wear to bed?”

He looks at me with a hint of curiosity in his eyes and says, “what do you usually sleeping, I sleep naked but if you do not want me to then I will not.”

I looked at him with a shy smile and say, “I usually ran around my home with no clothes on because that was the only time, I would not have to wear layers of clothes at a time.  I would sleep naked as well clothes always make me fell tapped.  At home was my one place I was free.”
