The Luna's First Night At Home

He carries me into the bedroom and asks, “me how I intend on sleeping?”

I look at him and say, “maybe I could use one of your t-shirts and you could wear a pair of shorts is that ok. I do not want you mad at me for not being able to do anything with you yet.”

Liam looked at me with a smile and handed me a shirt I did not even see him get then he said, “we can sleep clothed I had planned on it anyways I just wanted to hear you studder over yourself it was just so cute my little love.”

I frowned at him and slapped his arm and said, “you are not nice to me I thought you said I was your true love is this how you treat your true love.”  I looked down buried my face in my hands and started to cry

He instantly started stumbling over his words saying, “I was just teasing you I never met you any harm, I would never want to hurt you I only see you as my love please, please I was just playing. Please do not care my love I will do whatever you want.”

I could not take it anymore and I started laughing and rolling on the bed. He said WHAT you are just teasing oh you just wait.  He jumped on the bed and starting tickling my sides making me laugh even harder, so that I had tears in my eyes.  I tried to get away and he just kept pulling me back saying, “oh no, no you are mine now make me feel like the bad guy like I hurt you oh could you do that to me.”  I tried to talk but I was laughing too hard to get any words out at all.   Finally, I get him to stop long enough for me to breath when I say, “ok I am sorry please stop I cannot take it anymore please.”

He looks at me with squinted eyes and a big smile saying “you promise to be nice.  No more jabs at my emotions about you.”

I smiled at him nodding my saying, “I will be good for the rest of the night I will lay in bed just like you want I promise no more trouble from me tonight.” I lower my head in shame not looking at him.

He puts his hand under my chin and raises to look him in the eyes and he says, “I want no servant I want a partner I just want someone to not me mean to me either.  I may not have been abused like you, but I have never had any real friends either my love I know what a good friend loneliness can be.  She has been my bed partner more often than not.   I just hoped the one person that was supposed to be on my side would be.  My mate was always supposed to the one I could count on through thick and thin.”

I look at him place my hands on his and say, “I did not intend to hurt you I was only having fun.  I just felt you needed to smile more.  You have truly not smiled genuinely since I got here, I would love to see a true smile on your face. I thought maybe I could make you laugh and bring some happiness to you.  I hate seeing one suffer and I feel you suffering the most.  Besides if I cannot make you smile what right do I have to bring happiness to anyone else.”

He said, “it really matters to you that I am happy or not, hum.  No one has ever cared that much about my happiness. I have always just had a job that is what I was trained to do.  I only did good if I preformed the way I was told to.”

I stand grab the shirt he handed me and head to the bathroom, I change into the shirt leave my clothes on the counter in the bathroom and head back into the bedroom.  I walk into the room to find him already laying in the bed under the covers.  He pulls back myside of the bed and says, “come get in my love no tricks agreed.”

I slowly walk over to the bed I very timidly reach forward when I feel the warmth of his hand on my I look into is eyes he nods in reassurance as I climb into the bed.  Once in her throws the covers over my lap saying, “now get comfy and we will go to sleep if I had to guess you snuggle down under the covers until you pass out don’t you,” he said with a raise of the corner of his mouth.

I lay in the bed with him hoovering over the top of me I reach my hand up and touch the side of his face. I slowly pull his face down to mine until he is just inches from my face. I hold my breath as I raise my head, I gently place my lips on his and I softly kiss his rough lips.  I feel him reach his hand down to my side and grab hold.  He pushes back into the kiss he then tries to push his tongue into my mouth to only have me try to pull away.  He does not let me he holds me close not letting me go until I whimper a little when he hears that he lets me going.  The first words out of his mouth are “did I hurt you, if I did, I am so sorry it just felt so good that my wolf took over for just a minute and he did not want it to end he wanted more.  Trust me when I say I will never make you do something you do not want to neither will he that is why I am in charge again.”

I started that I am sorry I put you in that position I have no idea what come over me just the way you were towering over me I just wanted to feel you.  I should not have played with you heart strings that was not nice of me.  I am sorry do not be mad at me.  I will never do it again I was stumbling over my words my hands were fumbling.  He but his finger to my lips to shush me saying, “you just shocked me that is all I never expected that from you.  You are just full of surprises aren’t you my little angel.  Do not worry I am not mad, and I hope you do it much, much more.  I want to feel you close to me all the time.”

I blush and try to hide my face from him only to have him take my chin in his hand and lightly kiss me on the lights again only to pull away and say, we need to get some sleep I have been up a long time and I very well know you will not let me go all the way tonight.   So please let me sleep next to you that will be enough for me tonight we can discuss what else we can do tomorrow.”

We lay in the bed him on his side while I lay fairly far away from him when he places his hand on my side any pulls me closer to himself.  He then says, “I will not bite you little one not yet anyways I will wait until you tell me I can.”

My head spun to look at him with wide eyes, “bite me what do you mean bite me.  Why would I let you bite me?  I am not a meal for you to snack on.”

He just laughed and said, “I will only n****e and I like you will like it if I was given to opportunity, I would show you.  But not to night my love I am tired and need rest.”

I nod my head and say, “as long as you just hold me and nothings else.  I want all my finger and toes when I wake up.” He nods to me and closes his eyes.  I lay quiet for a few mins until I am sure he is asleep, then I whisper softly to myself good night little one I am always watching you in you sleep.  I love you to the moon and back, I cannot wait to come home to you by baby girl,  goodnight son I see you through the stars keep you sister safe until I return home always love you mom.”  Then I snuggle into him and fall asleep.”

Liam’s POV

I lay here with my eyes closed for a few minutes hearing her heartbeat quicken slightly.  I listen to see what she is up to.  She starts to whisper something I have to listen very closely to make out what I can, but I hear words that make my heart skip a beat.  She says goodnight baby girl, and the I love you son.  Is my pure little angel not so pure anymore?  Who would have done this to her?  Was it on of the abuser of her did they do more then hit her?  I am going to have to ask Sam about this tomorrow I am to worked up to sleep how am I ever going to sleep now?  Then I feel her snuggle into my bare stomach with her tiny ass that has little to no fabric on it what was I saying about settling down I thought I was angry.  Oh, my now I am not angry, but I am having other problems.  g I hear her let out a little hum of happiness. That is the last thing I hear before sleep takes me over and I pass out.

I am awakened the next morning by Alex trying to link me.  I groggy open the link and say what do you want.  He said did you forget something Alpha.  No, what did I forget is it some meeting that can be rescheduled.  He said, “no it is with the council about your Luna.” 

I let out a rough sigh and said, “I will be there in 10 minutes.

“Alpha that will make you late, they will not like that.  They expect you to be on time you are the Alpha after all, if you cannot make a simple meeting how are you met to run the whole pack.”

I let out a loud growl and said, “Alex I have never falter in my duties as Alpha I am have had enough of you questioning everything I do.  One meeting will not end the pack.  I will be there in 10 minutes.” I end the link set up with great angry but before I can stand, I feel little hands wrap down over my shoulders and a small whisper asking, “if she had made me late, by keeping me up to late last night.  I do not want to cause you any problems maybe I should just get a different room.”

I stand and say, “you will not leave my room, everything will be worked out after today my little love.  I go to the shower quickly clean myself to step out of the shower to find my clothes laid out for me and a small meal on a plate, with a little note saying she had went to check on Sam and his wife then she wished me luck with my trails of the day.  I head down to the meeting room and burst through the doors to see and hear my Beta saying how he is not sure I am thinking clearly right now.  I walk right over to him and a slap him down on the floor.  I look around the room at all of the men who should be here supporting me instead they are judging the fact that I have found my Luna. 

I turn to Alex and say, “you are supposed to have my back be my biggest supporter and here you are plotting against me without even meeting her.  You did not even give her a chance to be the Luna that she could be do you know anything about her.  Do you know that she only wants to help and heal all of our kind.  Do you know that she is a great cook that makes a very mean piece of bacon that strangely is very protective over.  She is very caring when it   comes to children too.  She thinks they should be cared for first will give up what she has for them.  As we speak right now, she is helping a first-time mother prepare for the birth of her twins.  I hate to admit it, but she can even but me in my place when needed and there are 50 pack members who can attest to that.  You stand her and speak of her like she is some monster that has does harm, but the only person she has very aloud to die on her watch died of natural causes.  The person she helped had liver failure something that no one can cure.”

Alex stands clears his throat and says, “she is changing you.  You are no longer bloodthirsty or have a desire to take over the world and be the biggest pack around.  You have not trained in days, you are not sleeping right, or eating like you should.”

“You i***t I am in love with her of course I am not eating or sleeping right.  As far as training goes before, she showed up I was the one to increase the training schedule no one else.  I never said I did not want to grow the pack I said I was done starting with violence, yes, my views have changed but the goal has been and always will be to have the strongest pack around.  I have leaned you can get more friends with honey as they say.  I think having respect is more important then fear.  With fear there is a chance they can betray you, with respect they will be more dependable.  It seems wiser to try diplomacy then go straight to tearing everyone apart,” I spat at him.

The council all looked at me and said, “we would love to meet the woman who has brought all these wonderful changes to our Alpha.  To have him see all the things that we have been telling him for years in such a short time she must have some wonderful skills.  She must have some magic that runs very deep inside her.” Then you hear a roar of laughter from all of them.  They look at the Beta and said, “you are walking on very thin ice Beta it is your job to help the Alpha not turn everyone against him.  You are supposed to be his right hand in all things he does you are acting more like an ass you show up late and never listen.”

Alex stands walks over to the Alpha and says, “what can I do for you now Alpha.”

I get a devilish grin on my face and say, “yes, why don’t you go check on the little Dr and come back with her results and I want you to do it do not delegate this job to anyone else.”

Alex rolls his eyes at me as he walks out of the room leaving me to the rest of my meeting.

Alex’s POV

I leave the meeting hall only to down the east hall not on the pointless errand Liam was sending me on.  I walked into the room I had been staying in with Derek.  When I walk into the room Derek looks at me and says well how did it go talking to the council are, they on board with removing Liam as Alpha.  I look at him and say no he came in before I was finished and told them just how wonderful she was and how much in love with he her he was.  Saying she was his better half that she would did make him a better man.  The man that the council had been trying to get him to be since he took over for you.  Now I am on the outs with the Alpha my friend maybe this woman is not so bad maybe I should give her the chance that everyone else has maybe she is not all the bad.

Derek reaches over and slaps me across the face and says you cannot faulter now we are so close to what we are trying to accomplish.  We will have that terrible woman out of here in just a few short days are plan is still on tract just wait ok.

I nod my head and tell him I need to be getting back the meeting should be about over.  Liam will be waiting for a report that I will need to have, or he will know something is up.  I walk out of the room head to Sam’s room where I find the little Dr.  I look at her and say, “the Alpha would like a report on the pregnant one now.”

Sam gets up and growls she steps in front of him and says, “you must be Alex I am pleased to meet your acquaintance I was hoping I would get to see you soon.  May I walk with you to take the report to Liam I would like to see him for lunch and ask you a few questions along the way.”

To everyone including my self’s surprise she said, “I would like to walk with you and ask some questions about Liam.  You are his best friend right I would like to do something for him.”

I nod my head and say, “I will take you with me and answer whatever questions I can about him and yes I am his friend.”

She hugs me and says, “thanks you really are a good guy.  I hope we can be friends like Liam says.”

As we walk down the hall, she starts asking me questions, “what is his favorite food, what meal of the day is his favorite, where is his favorite place in the territory to eat?”

I tell her calm down I will answer your questions, “his favorite food is pizza, he loves eating anytime of the day but as always liked late nights, by a bon fire behind the packhouse. Anything else you want to know.”

“What is one of his favorite things to do in his spear time, what kind of movies does he like, anything special that would be his favorite brand or hobby.”

I look at her and tell her, “he love video games GTA is a game he can get lost in for hours, movies anything violent, and hobbies he like to play pool and just hang with the guys.”

She nods at me and says, “thank you.  You really are a great friend I wish I could have found a friend like you maybe my life would not have been so hard.”  Then she throws her arms around my neck in a great big bear hug, for someone so small it was quite funny to watch.  Her arms could barely go around my waist let alone tight enough to squeeze me. 

We end in front of the meeting rooms doors in time for them to open and everyone to come out.  They all stop in their tracks and look at her then gasp at her.  She runs and hides behind me peaking from behind me.  I look behind me wondering what she is doing.  As she cowers in behind me, she says, “are they still looking I do not like when people stare, I know I am funny looking do they have to stare.”

I look at her very strangely and say, “who told you that you were funny looking?  Why would someone tell you that?”

The next thing I know Liam shoves me out of the way only to have her slap him and says, “do not be mean to someone who has been nice to me.  He is being my shield to get people to look away why would you punish him for that?”

Liam c***s his head and says, “you would not be so nice if you heard what he said about you earlier.  You would be just as mad as I am at him.”

She looks from me to Alex then says something that shocks everyone, “all people are aloud to have their own opinions of me as they seem fit.  It is my job to make them see I am not as bad as they are led to believe.  I am not bad, but I will he know if I do not prove myself to him and everyone else.  They cannot all love me just because you do that does not make any since at all.  That is why I am here to prove to myself and them that I am worth of the title and I can handle the responsibilities.”

The council all starts cheering and says, “she must stay we love the fact that she puts you in your place there is nothing better then seeing an Alpha find is better.”

 The oldest of the councilmen came over to her cupped his hands and says, “you are a wonderful little thing that we must find a way to keep here even if it is just to keep him in check as he points to Liam.  Seeing someone put you in your place is like watching a mouse chase an elephant it should not happen but some how it does.  To be honest it is the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life.  She is right you know; she does need to prove herself to us.  Just as we need to prove we are worth of her and her greatness.”
