The Good News

Lilly’s POV

I have been in contact with my brother every day for the past two month he is glad things are looking up with Sara.  Liam’s Dr said he would never have seen the cancer either this Dr was someone he really wanted to me he thought he could learn a lot from her.  Her treatment plan was ingenious he would have never thought to mix human treatments with animal ones.  This plan will give my Sara the best chance out of anything.  He even said he was jealous of what this other Dr had come up with because it was so flawless.  My wolf on the other hand has not gotten any better she is now at a point that is scaring me.  I had to go to the hospital and get something to quiet her down.  On a positive note I got to see my daughter she is starting to look better Ron says the Dr wants to talk to him tonight.  He thinks it may be time to wake up my baby.  I hope so I really want to see her eyes and her smile.  My brother was furious when he found out I took something to silence my wolf.  He said my wolf is my only connection to who I am, putting her to sleep would only make his wolf worse.  Liam tells me his wolf’s blood thirsty has increased 10-fold that we took this burden form our father and now only Liam cares it all.  The pain he is in I will never understand, he wants to attack everything that gets close to him.  No one is safe around him, and that is not boding well for the fact that he will be here tonight.    

Ron’s POV

I am setting in the office trying to finish up paperwork, but my mind keeps drifting back to my Sara.  I cannot wait to see her eyes again looking at me with all that innocents she has.  I shove the papers to the floor, go to the safe grab what we have on the doc and look it over only to see that it not much.  She was dropped at an orphanage in California when she was born.  There was no sign of any parent when they found her on the doorstep in the morning.   She really does have XP and over the years it has gotten worse.  She did really do all her schooling at night graduated top of her class.  She had a teacher that was a werewolf, I doubt she knew though, and that is how she started working for werewolves.  She really has worked for some of the biggest packs out there all over the world.  Her skill is really world renown throughout the werewolf world.  I just cannot believe that she has no idea who she really is how could someone be that naïve about who she is.

Hank interrupts me saying, “you know I was thinking she may not know who she is because, she was raised by humans so she had no one to teach her skills I cannot smell any wolf on her at all.  Maybe there is no wolf inside to help the queen see what she truly is.”

I looked at Hank and said, “you have really been thinking about this haven’t you.”

 He looks at me and says, “yes, I want to know why I see so much of the queen in her without any of the power or aura.”

We talk for a while more before I say I am going home to eat something and spend time with my wife.  I will tell him what I find out form the Dr.  I head out the door home to find my wife in the kitchen cooking something to eat.  I go up behind her placing my arms around her waist kissing her neck to make her giggle.  We set quietly eating our supper and then my wife breaks the silence saying everything for the party is set she called her mother today and her father is almost at a 100%, hopefully tonight we will get our baby back.  I tell her I hope the same thing I just need a shower and I would work in my office here at the house until it was time to meet the Dr.

Casey’s POV

I am doing my last check of the pup and see that her results are better than anticipated I have one more pet scan.  After the scan with all my results in I head to the office to gather the information for Ron.  When Sam comes in with my new favorite food nachos wanting to know if I am hungry.

I smile saying “of course you always know what I need.”

He replies, “because you are easy to read, my little Dr always ready to help others, never caring about yourself so someone has to be on the lookout for you.  I guess I get that job caring for the Dr you would think if anyone who how to take care of someone it would be a doctor ha, ha.”

I look up at him squint my eyes and say, “see I got to go you are getting to close lover boy and I do not need that.”

Sam and I have gotten really close over that past few months and he has become almost like a friend to me.  Someone that has been here to help me learn a few things about myself that I did not know.  Which I find funny seeing as I know he was only trying to get information in the begin, but now it is more.  I can tell by the way the questions he has asked me to have changed. 

Now back to my little wolf I tell Sam, “I have everything ready for Ron’s meet this evening and I cannot wait to give him the good news. Are you ready to head out?”

Sam says, “that is why I am here my little one.  You going to eat this on the way you know if Aaron sees it, he will steal it form you that is his favorite.”

I reply, “isn’t it you job to save me my big hero, laughing.”

As we walk out the door, we are met by Aaron who is eyeing my nachos.  I frown shacking my head coving my food while he laughs at me.  We all head out of the hospital to find Ron already waiting on us at the fountain.

Ron’s POV

About to turn to see the group coming to meet me I hear Hank mind-link me saying there is a problem at the border.  I look at Aaron telling him to keep an eye on everything I have something that needs me, he says of course sir.  I step away from the fountain and head to the North border only to find my brother in law Liam’s Beta Alex.  Looking curiously at Alex I hear Liam yelling I need to know what the smell is tell me now I can hear the wolf breaking through pushing Liam back.  I looked at Alex and said what the hell is going on with him.  Why is he about to attack my town?

Alex replies, “he has been bad for about two months but only gotten this bad in the past few days.  He is on the hunt for someone and none of us know who it is.  If I were you, I would get out of the way and let him find whoever it is.  I cannot stop him Ron he is all animal now.”

Ron looks at Alex then to Liam and yell, “Liam why are you here what is wrong with you,” the whole time Ron is telling his wife to come to the north boarder. 

Liam looks at Ron and says, “you caused all this it is time you finally die for the pain you have caused my family.”    Liam takes off after Ron just in time for Lilly to show up and jump in front of her husband. She yells do not hurt him we need him.  Liam stops dead in his tracks takes a whiff in the air and takes off running.  He is running at top speed, but he knows not to what that wonderful smell is.  His wolf is fighting inside not knowing what to do it sines it mate and something else.  I run after him mind-linking Sam and Aaron to give them a head’s up as to what is coming their way.  I tell them to let him go where he wants to just keep the doctor safe.  The boys see Liam coming right at them, Sam grabs the Dr and puts himself between her and Liam.  Liam comes to a stop I hear him growling at Sam telling him to move.  He wants what is his.  I grab Liam’s shoulder saying what do you mean what is yours.  The little Dr screams bring everyone from their states to her attention.  Then she faints with Sam reaching out and grabbing her, so she does not hit the ground.  Liam lets out huge growl when the Dr lands in Sam’s arm, he goes after Sam, but Lilly stops him telling him he will hurt the Dr.  We all stand there in silence waiting for Liam’s next move before we decide what to do.  Thank the Goddess the doc is wearing a hoodie coving most of herself up.
