Chapter 25: The Killer

Bliant healed the angel we brought who was named Denzel, according to him.

Madison, on the other hand, was staring at the man because she said he was so handsome that she wants to date him already. She told me it was love at first sight but I just thought it was just flirt at first sight.

"Madison, maybe he will melt if you stared at him like that", I told her but she just smiled at me and continue to gaze at Denzel lovingly.

"So, how did you get there?", Jayden asked Denzel as if they were in the interrogation room. He also had a notebook and a ballpoint pen to list everything the angel would say.

Denzel cleared his throat before he answered. "I was with Natasha at that time", he began.

"Your girlfriend?", Azrael asked as Denzel just nodded.

"She is actually a human that is why the heavens decided to put me and punished me here", Denzel added.

Did I mention that their love rule is so ugly and unfair? Love should have no boundaries. Even if you are an angel, human or demon, you could fall in love to whom you really felt it. Out of the number of fallen angels I have met, ninety-percent of them were punished because of falling in love to either a human or a demon. If I were them, I will protest and make the supremes take down that stupid rule.

"How unlucky, he is already in a relationship", Madison said sadly to me but she was still listening to their conversation.

Elinora gave Denzel a glass of water and a meal before Denzel started to continue his story.

"So, you still didn't answered my question", Jayden said while looking at Denzel seriously

Denzel smiled at eat a spoonful before he continues. "I am sorry about that. So when I was with Natasha, we encountered him, the chief, my capturer. He have this ancient weapon that could kill any kind of creature."

"The angel blades", Azrael cut him off.

Azrael seemed to be bothered by what Denzel said. Can that blade really could kill all creatures? Even the archangels? In that case, that maybe is the most powerful weapon, but the real the question here is why did Mr. Gregorio have the blade?

Denzel nodded at Azrael. "I was also shocked when I saw it with him because he was just a regular human but he was way more capable that I thought", he added.

We all look at him confused. "Capable? What do you mean?", Mason asked him.

"He is a necromancer", Denzel replied.

We all look at him unbelievably. "Seriously? Necromancer? You are not joking, are you", I asked for assurance

"Really necromancy? H-how?", Elinora seconded me.

Azrael stood up and answered our questions. "It was actually true but Necromancy uses demon's blood to bring back someone from the dead but if he resurrect a demon or an angel, he needed to sacrifice and kill seven gifted humans", he explained.

I looked at the usb I was holding since hours ago. Are the files in here have something to do with what they are saying? I guess, there is only one way to find out.

I move to the study table of Bliant and immediately took his laptop and inserted the usb. I listened to their conversation while I was waiting for the files to load.

"So, why did you go there? You still haven't answered my question yet", Jayden asked Denzel irritatedly.

Azrael laughed softly. "You are really so impatient. Just let him speak slowly", he said to Jayden but the man just ignored him.

Denzel finishes his meal before he answered Jayden's question. "I was imprisoned by him because he wants to know if the bridge have been chosen already. He wants to be the chosen one to control both heaven and hell. And also, he is trying to extract my energy to make it his", Denzel explained.

I immediately remembered the glowing gemstone we got there before. I took it out of my pockets and showed it to Denzel. “Is this the 'extracted energy' you are talking about?”, I asked him.

He nodded quickly at me as he realized what I was holding. “Yes, that is it”, he answered. I immediately gave him the stones I got since it was originally his in the first place.

He placed it onto his palm and the stones suddenly started to fade and vanished.

"That was cool", Madison said being amazed.

Jayden also gave the stones he got to Denzel and the angel just did what he just did before.

Seconds later, I heard a notification sound coming from the laptop. I looked at it quickly and I was shocked when there is only one file and seven videos on it. That took long for this numbers of files to load.

I played the first video and it started with a loud scream that caught the attention of all the people in the room.

"What was that?", Madison asked and approached me.

Mason and Bliant also followed and the others stood up on my back to see what I was watching. "Is that a video of his killings?", Bliant asked while just looking at the video.

"This wasn not suitable for you", Jayden scolded him and covered his eyes but Bliant ignored him and remove his hands off him.

It was like a video caught on a body camera. In the video, you can see how the girl run of her life while using hed telekinesis ability to distract the owner of the video.

Later on the video, the woman was caught and was stabbed to death by the killer.

"Oh my gosh!", Madison shouted as the bloody body of the girl was seen in the footage. That was so gross but sad at the same time. Her death was so brutal. She doesn't deserve that kind of death.

The second and third video was also like that. He was chasing his victims and they were caught to their death.

The fourth video was then played and the place of it was familiar to me.

I felt them glancing at me while watching the video playing in the laptop. It was actually a footage of him killing my parents and that explained their reactions.

I only look and stared at the video reminiscing how the point of view of the murderer and mine was so different.

I was filled with love at that time while Mr. Gregorio was filled with lust and greed.

He drive the truck in a full speed until it crashes onto our car but he manage to escape before it did.

"Maybe the victims have ability that was connected to time so his only choice was to caught them off-guard", Denzel said out of the blues.

Tears started to build up in my eyes but I just wiped it away before it started to fall. So my parents were also gifted and blessed to have a supernatural abilities. Did they also use it to save someone just like what I am now doing?

We continued to watch the other videos but the last and the latest video was already corrupted.

"Why it can not be opened? ", Jayden asked us while trying to fix the laptop but still it does not seem to do anything.

"Just leave it, try the file", Azrael ordered and Jayden followed him.

Jayden clicked the file and it was the names and lists of the person he killed and the date they were murdered.

"Same date but different years", Mason said while reading the entire file.

"October 13, 2017, S-Samael's resurrection", I read loudly the last date and sentence in the file.

I was startled, so is everyone in the room.

"Gregorio resurrected Samael."
