CHAPTER 2

I was lost in roaring darkness. Lightening flashes showed lurid glimpses of a terrifying dream world.FLASH! A wooden chair sailing through the air,I heard music playing in a low tone,then FLASH! I saw a lap beside me I took it and turned it on,I heard water rushing I sounded more like a river and again pitch black.

The roaring, rushing nightmare went on for what seemed like forever, nothing felt real,it was just as if I could not move form the chair I sat on.

Then I felt gentle hands take hold of me, lifting me up as if I weighed no more than air I was laid on something soft and carried through the lashing wind and rain.

I opened my eyes and found myself lying on my bed I could not even stand up cause I felt dizzy, I had to prepare for school before mum starts scolding as usual,I did not really understand the dream, because at first it looked as if it was scary then later i felt at ease, at least nothing bad happened just "FLASHES".

When I was done,I went down stairs to take my break fast.

"woah it's my birthday" I giggled, because of all this stuff happening to me lately I couldn't remember my own birthday,at least I love surprises,this birthday is better than the best

mum gave me a warm hug with excitement

Darcy my little sister gave me a wrapped present, don't worry Darcy I'll check it out later.

Dad also gave me a gift which look more like a laptop,there was a paper stamped on it which read

"your welcome"they chorused

I stacked the laptop into my bag pack,mum reminded me to eat my breakfast before I'll be late for school.

soon I was in school,my friends Lola and Annie also wished me happy birthday,they gave me some presents.i unwrapped the laptop dad gave to me, I added my Google account, Email address and password,then I downloaded some apps then my laptop was ready.

Annie did one of those stretches that made her look just like a cat

"gotta move my booty" she yawned.

she loves doing it everyday during our leisure period.

After leisure, I, Annie and Lola sat by the school fountain.

"Brandon is picking me up in two hours" Annie blushed,I gave her a hug.

over our time spent by the fountain,my friends and I got into this really deep conversation and before we knew it school was over.

Brandon gave Annie a phone call,we were so happy for her,we heard Annie pattering down the hall in her shiny sneakers and the soft double clunk as the door opened and closed.

Lola started packing her bag pack,then we strolled down the Walk way to wait for our parents

"Hey,Susie! won't we do our fortune cookies"

"we can do it now"

Lola's fortune said she was going to look for her soul mate, mine said I would have to learn how to use my powers and also tell the real from the unreal

"How come I never get to fall in love" I moaned.
