Flying through the air on the back of a snowmobile would’ve normally been fun, but the one Reid was riding seemed almost as old as him, and the ground here was uneven, covered in feet of snow in some places and hardly any in others. He stayed right behind Josh, who had the most experience on these things, and took his time. Though they’d waited a couple of hours before heading down, hoping to give Max a head start, there was no reason to rush. Once he got to the highway, Reid was fairly certain he’d be out of the woods both literally and figuratively.
