The party Sam’s pov I walked into Joe’s house and there is everyone that normally shows up. I tried to look for Sage but as always she is nowhere to be seen. As always Sage will come find me, I went to the kitchen I got a drink more like a beer because that all they seem to serve at these parties. “Hey stranger there you are, I have been looking for you,” Sage comes up to me hammered. “Hey Sage I just got here,” I said kind of annoyed. “Oh well we have someone for you to meet you might actually know,” Sage said. “Oh yeah who is this special someone,” I said. “Sam this is Jake, Jake this is my best friend Sam,” Sage said. I looked up and there is the new kid. Dang he is way cuter in person, I just don’t know why I haven’t seen it. He stretched out his hand and I took it. “I believe that we have met before,” Jake said. “Yeah, we may have ran into each other at school or somewhere,” I said. Sage looked at both of us. “Well I will let you two be,” Sage said while walking away and smiling. I just smiled at what she said. “Well she made that a little too awkward,” I said. “Yeah, let me guess you are used to all that,” Jake said with a smile. “Yeah,I am also not used to her just randomly introducing me into random guys, who randomly show up out of nowhere. No offense,” I said with no regret. “None taken, let me introduce myself instead of miss diva. I am Jake I moved her from Great Fall Montana,” Jake said. “Hey you have to remember that miss diva is my best friend. I am Sam I’m from here, I grew up here,” I said. Well I left out a little part of my life out. I am from a little town named Newell, Newell South Dakota where everyone is either related or they moved to escape their very insane life. “Ah I see, I’ve heard some weird things happening in this town, did they actually happen,” Jake said with a little concern in his voice. I laughed, who actually believe’s the crap people say in this stupid town. He looked at me in a weird way. “Whatever you do don’t believe all the stupid rumors around here, or even about this place,” I said with a little bit of anger in my voice. “I didn’t mean to make you angry, that was the total opposite that I wanted, I am super sorry,” Jake said. “No you’re all good, I didn’t mean to get all cranky on you. I am so sorry,” I said. “Don’t be sorry, I was the one who said something that I obviously don’t really know about, I am sorry I was just trying to get a conversation with you,” Jake said super confident and super cute. I smiled “so you were trying to make conversation with me, well do you want to go somewhere else or even go on a walk. I kinda don’t want to be here anyway,” I said feeling super crapped. “Yeah I would love to get out of here, I honestly didn’t want to be here anyway,” Jake said feeling a little more confident.
