Chapter 3

The walk Jake’s pov I didn’t really want to go to the stupid party that Joe was throwing but I said yes just so Joe’s girlfriend would shut up. God that woman is so vial, she is super annoying. But she said something about her best friend, that’s what really caught my attention. I’ve seen those two around if that’s who she is taking about. Well when I have seen those two. Sage said something about her best friend. When her best friend is the girl of my dreams, I swear she walked right of my dream and become reality. Whoever gets what they want. As you can see I am not a big fan of big crowds never really have. But that girl she’s a goth not one of the trashy goths either. One of them goths that have elegance and pride for what she does. But I got to that party and there is Sage walking up to me. “Hey Jake come here, I have someone that you have to meet,” Sage said with her very super annoying voice. I followed her into the kitchen and there she was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. “Sam this is Jake and Jake this is Sam,” Sage said. Well I knew Sage said more but I really wanted to hear her name more than Sages super annoying voice. Why would anyone want to be friends with her or even date her. “I believe we have met before,” I said. “Yeah, we may have ran into each other at school or somewhere,” Sam said. Sage looked at both of us. “Well I will let you two be,” Sage said while walking away. Sam smiled at whatever Sage had said. “Well she made that a little too awkward,” Sam said. “Yeah, well I am also not used to her randomly introducing me to random guys who randomly show up out of nowhere, no offense,” she said. “None taken, let me introduce myself, instead of miss diva. I am Jake I moved here from Great Falls Montana,” I said. “Hey you have to remember miss diva is my best friend,” Sam said. “Ah I see, I’ve heard some weird things happening in this town, did they actually happen,” I said with concern in my voice. “Whatever you do, don’t believe all the stupid rumors around here, or even about this place,” she said with anger in her voice. “I didn’t want to make you angry, that was the total opposite that I wanted, I am super sorry,” I said. “No you’re all good, I didn’t mean to get all cranky on you. I am sorry,” she said. Man this girl got some attitude but that’s okay I like girls with attitude. “Don’t be sorry, I was the one who said something that I obviously don’t really know about, I am sorry I was just trying to make conversation with you,” I said. She smiled. “So you were trying to make conversation with me, well do you want to go somewhere else or even go on a walk. I kinda don’t want to be here anyway,” she said. Could this be because she doesn’t like crowds. “Yeah, I would love to get out of here, I honestly didn’t want to be here anyway,” I said. “Are you claustrophobic,” she asked me. “I am, I don’t really like crowds,” I said. “That’s how I am,” she said. Maybe we have a lot in common. We walked and talked for a long time before she had to go. “Well I have to get going, it was really nice meeting you Jake,” she said. “Yeah, you too Sam,” I said. She walked away, why did she have to go. I checked my phone it’s 1:00 in the morning. I have to get home or my A S S is grass.
