Christine pretended that she didn’t notice anything weird or out of place in the area. Maybe it was just a coincidence that Samuel was living so close to Chad’s place. Who knew if the two men knew each other.
She got down the car after Samuel opened the door. They both got to the trunk to get her things before they proceeded to get up to the main door of the house. She tried not to look in the direction of Chad’s place.
Christine started to feel anxious. If Chad or Theresa would go out today, she was certain that she would end up discovered, caught by the two. She silently prayed that Samuel would hurry up in opening the door.
When the door was opened, she tried not to go in ahead of Samuel. She would be too obvious. She didn’t want to cause any suspicion.
