CHAPTER NINE

“So when did you came back?” I asked to Jonas as soon as the waiter served their food.

“Just a month ago.” Jonas answered.

After they saw each other inside the cave, I and Jonas just decided to accompany each other as we tour, and to catch up the events that had happened with each other, with those times that they didn’t got to meet each other, because of Jonas migration.

When the lunch hit, I decided to took Jonas to BV&V and now here they are, in my favorite spot. The balcony where the same table and spot that I and Gene had our dinner week ago.

Speaking of Gene, I think I saw her entering here in  the second floor, through my peripheral view, but when I turn my gaze to the entrance I saw none.

Maybe what I was just mistaken, I thought.

“By the way, I came to your house…” Jonas said, making my attention turn to him immediately, with my mouth parted, worriedness strikes in my system.

“How was it? Did my Dad saw you,” I asked.

 “Or did he perhaps told you something about me?” I added asking curiously and worried.

Jonas shake his head as if telling me not to worry.

“I only able to speak to Mary, your house maid, and she told me that your not home.” Jonas replied.

I feel relief that Dad didn’t saw Jonas, for Dad has been disliking since ever then he found out that Jonas is also doing photography, because he said, that Jonas has keep on influencing to take pictures which he dislike for some reason that I don’t know.

So you can’t blame me if I got worried if am asking ever Dad saw Jonas, because I am afraid Dad would be rude to Jonas.

“Is there anything wrong?  You look bothered.” Jonas commented and eyeing me with full concern.

So, I just shake my head, and smile, before I replied, “I am okay.”

Jonas just smile at my answer but I saw in his eyes that he is not convince by it. Jonas is always been like this. At times when we we’re still in highschool and until we reached college, he would just stay silent, even he wasn’t convince with my answer.

So I asked him back then, on why he’s not asking me, and he told me that, he is respecting my privacy, and he will just wait until, I share what is bothering me to him. So when at times that  can’t take my problems anymore, he will just be there to listen and after I share my rants to him, he will ask me If, do I just want him to listen or I if like him to say something about my problems, and whatever I will choose he will just accept it.

We are bestfriend, that sometimes our classmates mistaken us, as a in a relationship couple, but we are just laughing at it while Jonas and I will look at each other with disgust, for we are soul sisters, and laugh again after.

I was truly surprise seeing Jonas awhile ago inside the cave, so manly, and up until now, honestly. Seeing the Jonas infront of me make me wonder what happened to him, to be this manly, that no one would believe that he is a gay, and every girls would feel sorry if they found out that he is one, because Jonas had gotten more handsome that his chubby version.

“Why are staring at me like that?” Jonas asked, as I look at him with full of adoration.

“Nothing, I’m just appreciating your manly handsomeness.” I answered teasingly, and placing my elbow to the table and place my cheeks to my hand to tease him more.

I saw Jonas pouted as he raised his right brows and rolled his eyes at me, and I can’t help but to laugh this time.

“Argh!”

“I’m getting a goosebumps here!” He squeamishly said, that made me laugh harder.

“There, finally your oh so manly voice and attitude disappear.” I said teasing him again, that made him snort.

“You, biatch, I hate you Mi Bella! I was trying to act manly here because guys are gawking at you without you knowing, and me being your sister, trying to protect you  but your just to say does disgusting words to me?!” Jonas replied to me, while acting that he is hurt.

“How mean!” Jonas added madly, as he cross his arms to his chest.

"Psh!”

The he go again, Jonas or she can say Jona the drama queen, If I know he just want me to treat him his favorite again. So I have a no choice but to call the waiter I saw that is passing by.

I saw Jonas eyes sparkled when he saw the waiter I called, which I can’t blame, for the waiter latin manliness is what Jonas really like, I don’t know but had always fantasies of having a latin boyfriend. But, I look to Jona’s he snorted, before he turn his gaze towards the sea view. That made me grin, as I turn my attention to the waiter, who is waiting for my order.

“HI! I would like to have a  two banana splits.” I ordered first.

The waiter obediently nod as he listing my order.

“Anything else, Ma’am, Sir?” The waiter asked after he listed my orders.

Again, I took a glance to Jonas and saw him gawking to the waiter, that made me grin naughtily as I thought of something.

“Yes.” I replied to the waiter while glancing at Jonas, and saw him turning his gaze on me, so I grin at him, before I turn my gaze again to the waiter.

“What is it, Ma’am?” The waiter asked.

“Ahm…”

“ Sorry but, do you mind if I will ask what is your name?” I asked, glancing again to Jonas, who look surprise by my question to the waiter.

“I just have a here, who wants to know your name but she doesn’t have any confidence to ask you.” I added emphasizing the she word.

“No, I don’t mind, Ma’am. By the way my name is Vera.” The waiter courteously replied.

“Anything else Ma’am?” The waiter asked after.

So, I just shake my head and smile, before I replied, “None, and thank you, Vera.”

The waiter smiled as he excuse himself and bow before he left us alone, so I turned my gaze to Jonas who looks like he was bitten by a snake eyeing me unbelievably.

“Y-Y-You…” Jonas said pointing his fingers on me dramatically.

I thought, he is mad at me, but his dramatic face turned to have a void of emotion, until he grin and started to giggle.

“I like it! He’s name is so suited at him!” He said grinning from ear to eat while giggling.

I just shake my head as I can’t hide the smile on my lips, toward Jonas reaction.

Geez, Jonas being Jonas, I thought.
