Captured

CHAPTER TWO

Avery’s eyes were lock on the photo, mesmerize by the lady in the photo.

The lady was just taken by side view, but the scenery of the sunset suited the view with her on the photo. It was perfectly captured like it wasn’t an accident to be photograph.

The lady was just wearing office attire, that made her screamed in authority, yet she has this charm that hooked Avery in an instant. As the time goes, and finally the sleepiness she wanted to have kicked in her system, that made her sleep without her knowing and dreamed of meeting a woman that she was mesmerized in the photo.

Morning came and the sound of cold breeze and waves woke Avery from her deep sleep.

“Hmm…” Avery moaned while her left eye is slightly opened.

And saw that the sun is just staring to rise from the window of her cottage that she forgot to close before she drift into sleep, that explain why the cold is piercing through her whole body.

“Ahh!” She shouted.

 She doesn’t want to get up yet but the cold breeze from the ocean is killing her. Lazily, Avery force herself to get up with the comforter covering her body, and was about to close the window when her stomach grumble.

“Yeah, right! I forgot to eat dinner last night.” Avery said scoffing.

Having with no choice, Avery just let the window open and lazily took a step towards the bathroom to do her morning routine for she will not be able to get back on her bed to get some sleep if her stomach will just keep on bugging her, so might as well feed herself.

As she gets herself readied, Avery decided to eat at the floating restaurant just a few meters on the cottage she is occupying.

Avery seems arrived to early, the restaurant was just opened making her the first costumer of the restaurant.

“Good Morning, Ma’am!” The boy staff greeted with a big bright smile as she entered the restaurant.

“Good Morning!” She greeted as well, giving the same smile that the staff gave to her, and made herself walk towards the fancy four-poled straw roof raft where the customers are seating.

And with the help of the boy staff who greeted her earlier, she was able to get to her raft safely for the raft was wobbly because of the small waves.

“Thank you.” She said.

 The waiter went to her and give her the menu list.

“I want, this, this, this, this, this, and this.” Avery said.

 She points her orders to the waiter, without minding him staring her in awe while she is pointing her orders.

She really has a big appetite and eats anything that looks delicious for her tongue. And because she’s staving, her appetite grew more.

“Is that all, Ma’am?” The waiter asked politely and gives her a smile.

The waiter is holding a memo as Avery put down menu list.

“Yes.” Avery answered.

She turn her gaze towards the ocean view as she savor the cold breeze crashing on her face as the warm sun is starting to rise.

“Excuse me Ma’am, here’s your order.” The waiter said.

 Avery who was currently occupied savoring the warmth of the sunlight beamed on her face.

“Oh! Sorry.” She said

She was embarrassed because she didn’t hear the waiter chuckled as the waiter saw her like that.

“It’s okay, Ma’am it really feels good to feel the warmth of the morning sunrise, specially the breeze from the ocean, because it is cold.” The waiter said with smile.

The waiter placed Avery’s orders on the table, and she smiled.

“Your order is complete, Ma’am. Enjoy your breakfast!” The waiter said after he’s done placing Avery’s orders.

“Thank you!” She said before the waiter left her table.

Avery felt her mouth watered as she stares at the foods, in front of her. And as by the scent of the food filled her nostrils she know for sure that the foods are delicious, for she has this strange talent of knowing whether the food is delicious or not by just smelling at it. Well, maybe she loves food second to the photography.

Avery was just about to dig in her food when someone caught her attention. She saw the woman who just entering the restaurant was the same woman she accidentally taken the picture yesterday.

Avery knows that is the woman, for even she was captured in side view, she clearly can see the woman’s face completely in her head.

As Avery stared at the woman, the woman suddenly turn her head on Avery making their eyes meet then Avery look down immediately. She felt her face heated because of embarrassment for the woman who caught her.

Avery felt like a teenager, who was caught because she’s ogling at her crush.

“Oh my!” Avery exclaimed.

She didn’t notice that the woman she was staring is now approaching her.

 “Hi!” Avery heard her voice that made her jolted in surprised.

Her mouth opened as she saw that the woman she was staring is now looking at her with a smile on her thin soft natural red lips.

Avery removed the thought of how she just describes the woman’s lips in front of her.

Just what the heck?!

She said in her mind and cleared her throat to compose herself.

“Yes?” Avery asked.

Now, she finally able to compose herself after being caught off guard by the woman’s presence.

“Can I share the table with you? The restaurant is currently empty in seats and I saw you sitting alone and think that maybe I could share the table with you.”  She said.

Avery nodded, “Yes, you may.”

 It it is not that bad to share a table with someone you didn’t know, especially that someone mesmerized her.

Seeing the woman closer is better than looking at her at the picture.

Avery was just about to dig in her food when someone snatch her attention. She saw the woman who just entering the restaurant was the same woman she accidentally taken the picture yesterday.

Avery knows that is the woman, for even she was captured in side view, she clearly can see the woman’s face completely in her head.

As Avery stared at the woman, the woman suddenly turn her head on Avery making their eyes meets, and Avery to look down immediately, as she felt her face heated in embarrassment for the woman caught her looking at her.

Avery felt like a teenager, who was caught by her crush while ogling at her crush.

“Geez!” Avery exclaimed, that she didn’t able to notice that the woman she was staring is now approaching her.

 “Hi!” Avery heard the voice of the woman said, making her jolted in surprised.

Avery felt her mouth hang open as she saw that the woman, she was staring is now on her raft while looking at her with a plastered on her thin soft natural red lips.

Avery shove the thought of the way she just did describe the woman’s lips infront of her. Just what the heck?! Avery thought, and clear her throat to compose her self.

“Yes?” Avery asked after she finally able to compose herself after being strangely caught off guard by the woman’s presence.

“Can I share the table with you?” The woman asked “the restaurant is currently empty and I saw you, so maybe I could share the table with you.”

Avery nod as a response for what the woman said, and told her she can share the table, for it is not that bad to share it with someone, specially that someone is mesmerizing her.

And seeing the woman in person is much more better than the picture she has on her camera.
