It was late when Lachlan finally stumbled tiredly into the pack house. He had begrudgingly left River in the pack house while he had to arrange everything to get them ready for war. Her brother had assisted with growing some poisoned thorny vines to protect certain areas that would be difficult to have guards and warriors stationed.
