5 Resistance Rex and Morris fell into a daily routine in no time. Rex spent mornings feeding and bathing Morris, then playing for a couple of hours, developing his motor and cognitive skills. Morris liked the toys Rex stole for him, and began to understand some words, or so it seemed to Rex. He also took to scampering around on all fours with great gusto, reveling in his ability to propel himself from place to place. The motel room was not as spacious as Rex would have liked, but that would not last long. He planned to move them into better digs as soon as he could.
