*MAXINE’s POV*
As the last school bell rang, Prince Damian and I walked to his carriage and we immediately went to the Collin’s palace. We spent an hour traveling back to the palace without saying anything to each other, not until he broke the silence and asked me a question.
“Hey, Maxine, I forgot to ask this but what will happen to you once this mission of yours is finally over?”
“Hmm? I'm, I honestly have no idea, ” I replied.
“But you know, if ever the Goddess gives me another chance to live, ” I said.
