“Ma—Bella, are you alright?” I heard Prince Damian asked as the two of us walked our way back to the princess’s room.
“Huh? Ah yes, I’m fine. I’m just thinking about something,” I answered him.
“Zarah,” I heard the empress voice, so I turned around and saw her standing a few steps away from me.
“Yes, mother?” I asked as I took a few steps towards her. As soon as I stood beside her, she hugged me tight and lean her head on my right shoulder, then I felt something liquid falling to my shoulder.

I hugged the empress tight as I rub my right hand on her back. I decided to just let her cry and hugged her even more. After a few minutes, the empress’s cries died down already and she let go of the hug.
