A NEW VENTURE
Over the past week, Elena had spoken to her parents and Carla, been reprimanded by Nunziata about leaving a clean glass on the sink, and had cooked meals for her and Emilio. Today, she’d enrolled in her fashion design course. She experienced a flutter of butterflies in her stomach over starting her new job.
Walking along the pavement, she felt a slow drizzle fall over her head and hugged her body for warmth. Her mind drifted back to Francesco, who seemed too good to be true. Was he a ladies’ man?
