“Is this it?” The giant looked Madden over. “Him? A demon?” He pulled his shades off, revealing he had eyes not unlike a demon himself; they were red around the edges.
“You will find I can be full of surprises,” Madden snarled. Under the skin of the hand Eva held, she could feel the demon begin to stir. He was at breaking point.
“If he’s the demon, you’re Director Scott,” the giant assumed. “Funny, I was expecting someone less… commando.”
