Holy mother of.... I forgot the rest

"I"m hopeless." I threw myself on my bed in a very dramatic way which made Jasmine roll her eyes. She sat next to me crossing her legs under her and touched my arm lightly. "Don"t worry. You will be fine. You come from a strong line of lunatics." I glared at her and sat up. Aiden"s party was after one hour and I looked like a cave woman. My hair was messy and I had bags under my eyes. Midnight had came again to see me and we just talked about stupid things. For some reasons I told him about Marcus and I had to put my hand on his mouth so he wouldn"t laugh at loud. "You are so mean for such a little and innocent girl." He said and I frowned at him. "I"m everything but innocent. You don"t know my crazy side Midnight." I grinned at him proud. His lips tugged up in a smirk. "Then I will show you my dark side and you will show me your crazy side little Ry." A smile formed on my lips. I wanted to know him. Even though he wanted me to know his bad side first. But if this is his dark side, then I don"t want to know his good side. "Then we have a deal!" I said and he smiled. "Apparently we have." "What present did you get him?" Jasmine asked me, snapping me out of my thoughts, as she took a black dress on her hands and looked at it, thinking. "s**t!" I shouted at loud. "You forgot to buy him a present?!" She shouted as I jumped from my bed and walked around the room panicking. I didn"t have time to buy him a present and get ready in time. There was no way I would be late for his party. My life is ruined. I don"t know what to get him. What am I going to buy him? I can"t just go there without a present. It is his birthday. He is the guy I have a crush on since day one. I have to buy him a present. Simple. But what? "Why don"t you buy him... a scarf." Jasmine suggested and I glared at her so hard she actually looked scared. Like the please-don"t-kill-me kind of scared. "I can"t buy him a scarf!!! He is not Santa so I can buy him a SCARF!!! I"m gonna die. I hate this life. Life hates me." I threw myself to the bed again and wanted to cry. Why? Just because I was that crazy. "Then don"t go." "WHAT???" Jasmine shrugged at my outburst. "Don"t go. Why do you want so bad to be with Aiden? You have your... Night or Midnight whatever his name is, guy." I looked at Jasmine confused. She was kidding right? Right? "What are you trying to say?" She looked at me like I was dumb. But just because she was looking at me like that doesn"t mean that I was going to understand whatever she was trying to say. "You"re kidding right? The boy comes here and visits you very night. He climbs the wall for you Ryder." I looked at her without showing any emotions. The cool mode was turned on in me and I just touched her shoulder lightly. "Jasmine my dear friend. We are just friends. He is my friend. Just because he climbs a wall to see me doesn"t mean anything. I would do the same for you. Now can you be helpful and figure out what to buy to the boy I like since the first day of school so I finally can have a chance with him? Because it be would wonderful if you would help me." "You are so stupid!" She said giving up. With an annoyed face she nodded lightly. "Yeah, yeah I will help you whatever. Choose the blonde boring boy instead of the mysterious one who visits you every night." Seriously I didn"t get her. Midnight was my friend. Or at least I think he is my friend. He never actually said me that, but if he wanted to meet me, it means he wants to be friends. You know what people say? It is easier to talk with a stranger? That"s what we were. We were to strangers that talked to each other for things that we couldn"t talk with anyone. Of course I haven"t told him I like Aiden, or girly s**t like that. But that doesn"t mean anything. We were comfortable with each other and that was all it mattered. "He likes Fall Out Boy right?" I snapped my head to Jasmine. Her face looked emotionless and that made me frown. I couldn"t do that. She is my friend. If I did that I wouldn"t be able to call myself her friend anymore. It wasn"t fair. "Jasmine, no. I"m not going to do that. You love that band. I can"t do that to you. You have been waiting for it for over three months. No." "Ryder. You like him... apparently. Plus... I wasn"t going anyway. My mom won"t let me. She found out I have been sneaking out to meet the hot guy from the amazing date." She shrugged. My eyes glued to her in disbelief. "Holy Jolly! She found out? What did she say?" I asked her curious. Jasmine have been sneaking out from her room in the middle of the night. Let"s say the hot guy wanted to know her more. He wanted to hung out with her, but they couldn"t meet during day, because if her mother found out she would be dead in two seconds. So yeah... "She screamed and shouted at me. I am grounded for three weeks. No phone, no TV and no hot guy." I felt sorry for her though. She looked so happy with that guy around. His name was Lucas, but for some reasons she kept calling him hot guy. It looked like it was his nickname or something. I smiled at her sadly. "I"m sorry!" "You shouldn"t be. Now back to the topic..." She grinned at me and I frowned again. There"s no way I was going to do that. "Jass no." "Oh come on for God"s sake, give me a rest. You like the guy for over a year. Now that you have the chance to get him like you, you are throwing it away. Just give him the tickets already. You can go together. It will be a good chance don"t me make slap you in your face now, because I"m getting pissed off." "Are you sure about this? You really wanted to go to that concert. We paid all of those money." I asked her unsure. We had bought tickets for the concert Fall Out Boy was holding. And since we both like the band we were going together. I don"t feel like I"m a good friend if I give her ticket to Aiden. It would make me feel bad for the rest of my life. "I will be fine. Just agree with it already so we can finally get you ready." She laughed at me and my eyes widened when I realized that I still didn"t know what to wear. "Help me!" I said a low desperated voice that made her laugh at me loudly. A frown appeared in my face as my mind was thinking of what I was going to do in that party. Jasmine was the one who would be friends with the half of the school, the one who would go in parties. The one who would sneak out to meet a guy... I wouldn"t dare to do any of these. I don"t like many people. I hate parties and I am sure as hell I won"t sneak out for once. Never. Why? I don"t know. I just won"t. I can"t find it in me. I looked at my closet again and frowned. After ten full minutes I finally gave up and groaned. "You know what?" my voice came out frustrated. "I give up." And with that I grabbed a pair of black jeans and a dark red shirt. Jasmine looked at me with wide opened eyes. "You"re not going there like that aren"t you?" I noticed disbelief in her voice. Her arms were crossed over her chest. "I"m not going to let you go in a party like that." "I"m not changing." I stated confident. Why should I stress out? It is just a party and I think I look good in those clothes. Why change? It"s not like I had anything to wear anyway. And after all it wasn"t a date. If it was, then I would be in the ground having breathing problems and going through a heart attack. Jasmine looked me dead in my eyes as I did the same. It looked like we were in a staring contest. After a few minutes she let out a sigh and looked away. "Fine. Whatever. Do what you want. Can we go now?" I gave her a victorious smile and nodded furiously. In return she glared at me and stuck the tongue out to me. Witch! We got out of the house and got in, in Jass" car. Now it is true that I had a crush on Aiden for over a year, but I didn"t know where his house was. I wasn"t a stalker. I had Jasmine for that. She would find out everything about him, just to tease me every single freaking second. It was annoying but what could I do? She was my only friend. I had to keep my mouth shut and act like I can stand her, even though inside I felt like cutting off her head. Aiden"s house was big. Like oh-my-God-I-can-loose-there big house. Okay not that much but still. When we arrived, the party had already started and people where drinking and dancing, to sum up having fun. But at that sight I felt scared. I never liked parties. There was nothing I could do in them. I would always find myself standing in a corner like a fool. And now? I"m pretty sure I will do the same again. We just stepped inside the house and I already lost Jasmine in the huge crowed. Great! Now I"m left alone. How wonderful is this? Not knowing where I was going, I walked around the house, walking into drunk people. I felt sick. Like I was going to puke. Maybe it was because I didn"t like to be around so many people. I didn"t like crowds. Looking for a door, I walked out of the house in the backyard, which was empty. The backyard was huge... with the green grass and only a few trees here and there. Unlike in the house, here it was more quite, more peaceful. I sat on the ground and looked up at the sky. It was dark and I could see all the stars clearly. Just amazing. Somehow, Midnight crossed my mind. A smile escaped my lips. I was glad I had him in my life. I was thankful. "Hi!" A voice made me look back, while my heart went crazy at its sound. My cheeks turned red as I smiled. "Hi!" Aiden sat next to me. Looking at his clothes, I blushed even more. He was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans and a black shirt. Simple, but he looked so good. "Happy Birthday." I muttered and he smiled at me. "Thanks." He looked me in my eyes frowning. "What are you doing here alone?" I felt bad at his question. "I don"t like parties that much." Feeling embarrassed, I blushed. He invited me in his party and I tell him this. Does that make me a bad person? "Me too." He smiled at me and my heart was beating fast. I couldn"t help a smile in my lips. "Then why did you throw one?" I asked curious. Aiden looked at me still smiling as he shrugged in the most cute way. "To have a reason to see you again." His answer made me blush badly. I wasn"t sure if he was joking, flirting or being honest with me, but his green eyes were so serious with me, my heart somehow had the argue to just give up and drop me dead. I can"t blame it though. All of these things... it was tired of all that fast beating. And since I"m Ryder. The one and only who makes things from good to bad and from bad to worse, I let out a light laugh at him. It looked like I didn"t take him seriously. Please kill me. I"m not good for this life. His eyes glued to me and a smile played in his lips. "You don"t believe me?" I blushed at stupid me. But can you blame me? It was too good to believe. He leaned closer to me with a small smirk in his face. He stopped when our faces were so close, our noses were touching. In those moments my heart was begging to me to die. It was beating so fast it hurt. "What a shame!" His warm breath crushed against my lips. Holy mother of.... I forgot the rest. "Because it is true!" My stomach... oh dear God! I felt like I had an animal... a beast inside it, eating me slowly... In the most sweetest way. Is this happening for real? He backed away from me still smiling. It was a sincere smile. One of those which reached his eyes. He was looking at the sky, giving me the opportunity to look at his beautiful face. His eyes came to me again, making me blush... AGAIN!!! "You are amazing Ryder!"
