MEETING A NEW FRIEND

Rihana's point of view -

I opened the locket and took out the magical recorder, now I performed the transportation spell which was stored in it and closed my eyes and started to think about my house, I felt happy because soon I would be in my home but surprisingly I did not feel anything, I opened my eyes and found myself standing at the same place.

Why was it not working??? I thought at my mind, my heart already started to bit fast , I felt nervous but somehow calm myself down, I would try once more ,  it might be possible that I did something wrong in the first time, I repeated the process again and when I opened my eyes, I was standing at the same place, I freaked out why it was not working?? I thought at my mind again. I tried again and again but my all attempt failed, I did not understand why the magical recorder was not working. 

I could not help myself, I was started to panic , it was already getting dark, soon it would be completely dark and I did not know where I was actually, I started to walk in an uncertain direction, I did not know where I am actually and which direction I was going, after walking sometime, I did not know how much time exactly I was walking because I did not check time but I was sure I was in a secluded place particularly in a forest.

The place is very calm and it was scary ,I did check my mobile signal and sadly there was no signal in my mobile phone, neither I had much charge in my mobile phone, I was feeling exhausted , I did not feel that I would going to survive in this lonely forest, I felt thirsty already and no water source was nearby, neither I carried any water bottle or something from demon realm , I  thought once I would reach the earth I would use the magical recorder and soon I would be in my home, I never ever thought that the magical recorder would not work.

I stopped walking and checked my cell phone once again , it shows battery level was very low, I knew that my cell phone would switch off soon, so I opened my phone gallery there was several pictures of my family and friends , I checked few of the photos, I shed  tears out of sadness , I might not able to see my family again, I missed Ma, Baba and Ahana, my baby sister. I wiped my tears and put my cell phone in my jeans pocket.

I suddenly heard a light foot step of some animal and suddenly I felt cautious  and when I looked in front of me, it was almost dark only a faint hue of light was mixed and I can't saw anything very clearly but I saw two pair of golden eyes, and the eyes were watching me, after few seconds that animal leapt towards me and now I saw it clearly , it was a jaguar, I was so shocked and my feet were rooted to the spot, I was helplessly waiting for my death but before the jaguar could touch me all of a sudden something came like  a blur and that jaguar was tackled to the ground, now I looked and I saw a man standing in front of me, a well built muscular man and though it was almost dark I saw his skin complexion was very fair, exactly like Europeans and his hair colour was dark brown. 

I saw that Jaguar was stand on it's feet again and lunged towards me but before that this stranger grab the jaguar by throat and two fangs appeared in that stranger's mouth and he penetrated both the fangs in the jaguar's throat and started to drink the blood, now I understood that he was actually a vampire.

The scene in front of me was so frightening  that I forgot how to react at this moment , after few minutes I regained my senses and  I screamed at top of my lungs  "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH....."

That stranger throw the jaguar on the surface and spun around and he licked the remaining bloods on his lips and I saw the fangs slowly retreated in his mouth and he started to walk towards my direction.

"Please please do not kill me," I pleaded to him.

"What are you doing here that too in a dress like you are walking in a park?" that stranger vampire asked me.

I looked at my dress I was actually wearing a denim blue jeans and a white top with white colour sports shoes, he was actually right that was not a proper dress for forest.

"Answer me?" that vampire demanded.

"Please , please do not kill me like that jaguar," I pleaded to him, my eyes slowly moved towards the jaguar which was still lying on the ground but to my surprise suddenly I saw some movement and the jaguar slowly stands on it's feet, my mouth fell open ,thats mean that vampire did not kill the jaguar.

"You did not kill the jaguar?" I asked the vampire.

"No, why I would kill it? Jaguars are less in number now and only few are living in in sss rainforest , they are rare species," that vampire explained me nonchalantly.

"Oh," I said to him in response what that vampire was saying actually makes sense, every living creature has right to live on its own.

"I do not kill that jaguar does not mean that I can't drink all your blood and make you dry," he said and made his fangs out.

I instantly move backward and my back hit a branch of tree and I groaned in pain and about to fell in the ground but before that the stranger I mean that vampire move forward  quickly and he restrained me from falling on the ground.

"What are you are doing here?" he asked me again this time little annoyance was showing in his voice.

"I was kidn*pped ," I murmured.

He eyed me suspiciously and asked "What the hell are you talking about? who kidn*pped you and then left you in this forest, it is one of the deadly place on earth, why some human will do that? and most importantly where are those humans who kidn*pped you?" anger was evident in his voice.

"You better tell me the truth," he said to me with anger in his voice.

"I am not lying, I am not a liar, demons kidn*pped me," I snapped at that vampire.

"What ? who kidn*pped you?" he asked me.

I narrated him the whole story in brief and also told him how I ended up here, I just skipped the part that they kidn*pped me so that arrogant demon lord can marry be , I did not want to be his bride and I would not be his bride ever, so I did not tell him about this marriage thing.

"I knew that demon lord is p*****t, now he is k********g human girls to fulfil his s****l desire, what a shameless bastard," this vampire said to me.

I was so shocked about the revelation but before I could react , he asked me " Did he done something bad to you?" now I could show concern in his voice.

"No he did not," I said to him in timid voice.

"Can you tell me more about the gate?" he asked me.

"Why do you want to know?" I asked him back.

"Because my informants informed me that somewhere in the sss forest, the secret gate is place, which can lead us to demon realm , I want to find that gate," he said to me.

I told him truthfully that I did not remember in which direction that tree was actually situated and also informed him that to open the gate he need the green stone , without that the gate would not open.

He asked me again "Is that tree looks special?" 

"No , it is a huge tree but in this forest I already saw a lot of huge trees , in fact I can't  even tell you what type of tree it was?"

"Ok ," he said to me and he turned around and about to leave the place.

"Hey, please do not leave me here, help me please,.. I will die here alone," I said to him.

He looked at me and said "Follow me." and started to walk very fast and I started to follow him..

After few minutes I said to him ," Please walk slowly, I am a human , you are walking too fast."

He looked at me and said " Stop complaining, I am not your savior or friend, if you want to be alive, then follow me."

What a rude vampire I thought to myself, all supernatural male creatures were assholes !!

I was already tired and as he was a freaking vampire, he was walking too fast but I could not able to stop because I had to follow him, it was almost dark.

After walking two to three minutes suddenly a blur came from our right side and an another person wearing a black cloak and a hood  was covering his face attacked the stranger vampire who saved me from jaguar and I saw a knife was sliced through his right hand and blood was started to coming out from the wound, again that black hooded person attacked the  stranger vampire but this time he dodged it and they both started to fight and the black hooded person again attacked the stranger vampire with the knife but the stranger vampire twisted the wrist of the black hooded person and that knife what he was holding in his hand was throw out and landed on few ft. away from my feet but that black hooded person was also skilled and he freed himself from the clutches of the stranger vampire and throw a round house kick and the stranger vampire was flying back few ft. away,  that moment I understood that this black hooded person was also a supernatural creature otherwise he would not able to do that.

 They were fighting with each other as if it was their last battle , in between the fight the hood of that creature was torn apart by the stranger vampire and I saw too bloody red eyes of that black hooded supernatural creature and he barged his fangs towards the stranger vampire  that moment I  understood that this black hooded creature was also a vampire but his face was also covered with a black mask. 

  In between the fight that stranger vampire held the black hooded vampire by his  throat and he said "You bastard, who are you?" and about to remove  his mask but all of a sudden that red eyed vampire took out a knife and stabbed the stranger vampire in his belly and blood was started to ooze out profusely and he fell on the ground that red eyed vampire smiled menacingly and said "Time to last goodbye prince!' and I watched in horror he was about to stab my savior vampire in his heart.

 I did something unbelievable, I took the knife which was fell early in the ground and stabbed the red eyed vampire in his back , he screamed in pain but he turned around and caught me by my throat but before he could kill me that first stranger vampire pulled him by his hair and chocked him from back but the stranger vampire was bleeding heavily and now this red eyed vampire was also bleeding heavily from the injury I gave him , he jabbed his elbow in the wound of the stranger vampire , he fell on the ground and I watched this black masked vampire suddenly took out a black ball like object in his hand and he thrown it in the ground a purple coloured smoke appeared and he disappeared suddenly.

"Son of a b***h!" the stranger vampire yelled but his voice was really faint and he was still lying on the ground, I run towards him and sat on the ground beside him.

"Why are you not healing? You are a vampire after all." I said to him.

He was panting but somehow he managed to say "Vervain and Pearl." 

"What?" I asked him.

But I saw clearly he was about to loose his consciousness , I  felt bad for him  earlier he saved me from the jaguar now he was injured and I was unable to help him , I put both my hand on his belly and suddenly my  palm started to glow and when I removed my hand his belly was almost completely healed though there was dried blood around his belly, I was shocked and looked at my both hands and I saw that square -shape locket with  magical recorder was still in my hand and it was also covered with blood.

May be this locket is also enchanted I thought  to myself.

After few seconds that stranger vampire open his eyes and looked at me and he sat instantly looked at his belly and suddenly he held me and moved his mouth towards my throat and sniffed.

"You jerk, I save you and you want to drink my blood!!!" I screamed at top of my lungs.

He instantly loosened his grip and said in a calm voice " I do not drink human blood."

"Then what was that?" I asked him in an angry voice.

"I was curious  that you are a witch or something but I sniffed the blood which was running in your vein and you are human." He said to me.

I gave him a deadpan look and said "Idiot."

He asked me "How did you save me ?"

I told him about my opinion about the locket , he took the locket from my hand and placed it in his hand where one of the wound was still bleeding , but to my surprised it did not work, I held that locket and placed it in his wound but it was still not working.

"Nonsense demons and their use and throw gadgets " I mumbled.

That savior vampire gave ma a confused look and I explained him that these demons gadgets were useless these things did not work properly like the magical recorder this locket was also not working now.

He nodded his head in understanding and I throw the locket with magical recorder in a random direction.

"How will you heal now?" I asked him.

"I will heal slowly because others injury are not that much fatal," he said to me.

Before I could ask him more he extended his hands and said to me" Friends?"

I looked at him and said "Who was saying it earlier  that we are not even friends?" and raised one of my eyebrow.

He laughed and said "You are a little feisty human."

"Do not call me little , I am already 20 years old," I grumbled.

"Sorry for my earlier behaviour . Can we be friends?" he asked me again.

"Thank you for saving my life," he said to me again.

"Friends do not say thanks to each other," I said to him and he smiled. 

And we both shake our hands and said in unison "Friends....".
