“At least since the start of the fall semester. Apparently, Mia has always had a crush on him. She saw him when she and some girlfriends went to Molinaro’s for a birthday celebration—he was their server. I don’t know how he recognized her. Maybe one of her friends mentioned Mia’s brother who used to work there. Maybe Mia mentioned it herself. At any rate, Dave asked her out, and of course she was over the moon.
