Mable

1080 Words
~Louis’s POV~ My teeth were digging deep into a blonde woman’s neck, giving me a sense of relief and calming down all the wrecked nerves that were threatening to burst. The blood going down my throat gave me cooling sensations, which pleasured my growing thirst. I felt powerful… More powerful than I was a few seconds ago. I drained almost three people, made their bodies turn pale, but still... I couldn't feel the fury in me fading away. This wasn’t enough to lower the anger that my mind was still holding on to. I needed more blood… Raw, fresh... Straight from the vein. Be it a man or woman… Or even a werewolf would work. But I wanted more. I drank straight from the neck after a week, and every single drop of the blood going down my throat boosted my strength ten times more than usual. “Stop, baby, you will end up draining her,” Michelle’s voice rang in my ear. “I know you will find the replacement pretty quickly,” I smirked. I kept drinking blood from her neck while the blondie fainted in my grasp. Don’t tell me she was dead already? “Louis, you need to stop,” Michelle said and took the girl away from me. “Humans have been disappearing a lot lately, It’s not easy to get a new blood bank for you without coming into notice of werewolf packs. You know those f*****g dogs call themselves protectors of humankind.” “Why don’t you go and drink straight from the werewolf we have?” She further added. Her voice was sharp and cunning as usual. It held a hint of mischief, which made me smirk. I will… I just need a little time. While Michelle sent the blondie to recover, Dorian and Adrian walked in with Mable, who, as usual, didn’t look pleased at all. “I thought you would be happy to see me, Mable,” I smirked. “You will burn in this war, the vampire prince. Your whole kingdom will lose its charm of power and darkness if your actions lead to a war,” Mable said, her eyes boring into mine but not in a threatening way. But scared. And right now, she wasn't scared of me. But... The royal werewolves. Michelle scoffed, “We are more than them and more powerful than them.” “I agree with Mother,” Adrian said. “You are not here to talk against us but work with us,” I reminded Mable. Her bloodline has a history of walking hand in hand with the royal vampires. Be it her greatest-grandmother or her… All of them worked for us in exchange for power and infinite luxuries. Though she is a little difficult to convince, she knows she cannot deny the pact that she made with us while living the life we have provided her family. Mable nodded her head, “I know. You all are very capable of finding your way out, but don’t underestimate the family she comes from." Her eyes moved between Michelle and me, "She is a ticking bomb. If anyone from her pack or the Blood Moon Clan finds out about her whereabouts, this kingdom will burn in front of your eyes, your people will freeze to death, they will bleed to death even before taking a step, and... none of you will be able to take a breath to save what you built over thousands of years.” I know what it would look like. The blood moon clan has the power and strength that no one in the supernatural can beat. Be it the elders of the pack or the younger ones, they all have powers that nobody else possesses in the supernatural world. The only legendary wolf with extreme powers… The former king with the darkest strength and power running through his veins and their kids… Elemental wolves… Fire and Water… They are all the biggest and only challenge that I have in front of me. If she hadn't been related to them, all of it would be a lot easier. “I want you to break her bond with her family. They shouldn’t feel anything related to her. Be it pain, distress, or anything. It should feel like their bond never existed,” I told Mable. She nodded her head, “Sure, that’s the only way to stop them from reaching here.” “Along with your spells that we have around our vast place,” Dorian smirked. Yeah, that was another thing that didn’t let them reach here. All the area around my castle, including the lake, is surrounded by magic, and nobody can ever find their loved ones even through magic. I chuckled. I am sure the Knights have been contacting a ton of witches to find her. "But they'll know something is wrong..." Mable caught our attention, her voice turning deep and alarming. "You might not know this, but the same happend with Serena Mathew as well. She is no fool... She'll know it the moment they stop sensing her through their bond." Why the heck does everything have to happen before us? But there's no other way... “Take me to her, but mark my words, the vampire prince, I will walk out of this if this turns into a war. The blood moon clan has the most powerful witch to ever exist in the history of witchcraft. Cassie." A sudden shift was evident in her body the moment she mentioned the royal witch. "Cassie is herself blessed by our goddess, and there is no way I would be able to stand against her in a war. If things go south, I am out.” Mable said. I nodded my head. I know how to make her work for us. Right now, she just needs to leave and sever Aliyah’s bond with her family. She left with Dorian and Adrian while Michelle quirked a brow, “Seriously? She will walk out just like that?” I pulled her to me and wrapped my hand around her waist. Tracing my tongue on her neck, I made her clutch my shoulders tightly, and I whispered, “I know how to handle her. And that argument wasn’t required at this moment.” Her hands found their way under my t-shirt and she scratched my back, “Then what is the demand of this moment?” I smirked, “You.”
