The hunter's daughter

"Because I would choose you as my mate" Reggie told her.

"Even though I am a hunter" Monica spoke softly.

"Yes, you are not like any other hunter. You are more like us, than you know. I don't believe that you would reject us for being a werewolf" Reggie told her.

"No, I wouldn't reject you. Are you sure you want me as a mate?" Monica asked him.

"Yes, I'm sure" Reggie said and kissed her.

Monica could hear purring as Reggie kissed her deeply.

"Are you purring?" She asked him when she got her breathe back.

"That's my wolf. He wants to be your mate too" Reggie told her.

"Well, I want to be mates with both of you" Monica smiled at him.

Reggie's eyes were now a golden brown.

"Monica is our mate now" Rufus told her.

"Rufus, is that you?" Monica asked him.

"Yes, mate. I am Rufus. We will choose you and reject our mate. We will be together, forever" Rufus stated.

" I would like that but how can we be together when you are my father's prisoner?" Monica wondered.

"We will find a way to get free. Then mate, you'll be ours" Rufus told her.

"And you both will be mine?" Monica wondered.

"Yes, mate. We will be yours, forever" Rufus promised her.

Rufus then kissed Monica and slipped in his tongue. He has to taste her mouth, he had to make her his mate.

' Not yet, Rufus. She can't be marked until we are free. Her father might discover she was marked by us and kill us both. We must wait" Reggie begged his wolf in his mind.

' I will wait but I need to mate with her soon. She is such a tasty human. She must not be mates with another human' Rufus stated to Reggie.

'It doesn't matter if she has been with anyone else. She's ours and we will mate and mark her, soon' Reggie told him.

Reggie regained control of his body and stopped himself before he could kiss her on the neck. It was where he would mark her. He was sure she had been warned about a werewolf's mark but he didn't want to risk giving her one.

" Monica, I want to mark you but we can't risk it. Your father would kill us if he knew it was me that marked you" Reggie confessed to her.

"I understand. Maybe someday you will be able to" Monica suggested.

"I will, I just need to get back to my pack, first" Reggie told her.

"I will help you break free, if I can as soon as possible" Monica promised him.

Reggie kissed her again and held her close.

"Thankyou, my mate" Reggie whispered in her ear.

Monica felt her heart beat faster. Reggie heard it and smiled. She was going to be thier mate, forever.

Monica started gathering supplies. She bought Reggie more clothes, food and blankets. She started sneaking more out of the house and spent time with Reggie.

"I am going to need a map and weapon" Reggie told her.

"I will get them as well as the key for your shackles" Monica promised him.

"Please be careful, I don't want you to get caught" Reggie pleaded with her.

"I will" Monica promised him.

Reggie bought her face close to his and kissed her. His eyes flashed to a golden brown. He smelled her hair and touched her neck.

"I can't wait until I can mark you" Reggie told her, Rufus wanted control.

"I know, I can't wait either. We will be together, forever " Monica told him.

"Then, my mate, you must go and get what I need to break free" Rufus told her.

Monica nodded and left. She went back to the house and was able to get most of what she needed. She grabbed a small knife; it was the one she had been given. She knew that Reggie needed it more than her. She snuck into her father's office and looked for the keys and map. She couldn't find any maps so she decided to use her father's computer and print one out. She hoped that the sound of the computer's printer wouldn't wake him up. She had finished printing up a map and quickly shut everything off again. She nearly got back to her room when she saw her father standing outside his bedroom door.

"What were you doing, Monica?" he asked her.

"Nothing, I just wanted to make sure everything was organised for tomorrow's meeting with the hunter's. I am going to bed now, daddy" Monica lied.

"Really, I didn't think you cared about the meetings. In fact, I don't think checking the computer's printer was part of the meeting. What were you really doing?" Max said annoyed.

"Alright, I wanted to see how big the hunter's land was, so I printed off a map. I won't do it again, daddy" Monica lied.

"Show me, Monica" Max held out his hand for the map.

Monica gave him the map reluctantly. He looked at it and snorted.

"You got the wrong one. This map doesn't show any hunter's lands, just old werewolves pack lands. We are discussing taking it off them at the next meeting. We might need this map, that's a good plan, Monica. Now go to bed" Max told her.

Max waited until she went into her bedroom before he went into his bedroom. Monica was relieved but also disappointed that she didn't have the map. She would try to get it again, the next morning.

Monica stuck by her father's office but he didn't let the map out of his sight.

"Are you waiting for the meeting?" Max asked Monica.

"Yes, I am. I just need to know how we can get that land from the werewolves" Monica lied.

"I am glad you are on the hunter's side. We will get that land that they claim but it will take time and planning. We need to do this, secretly. No other humans or werewolves must know what we are doing" Max told her.

"Why, daddy?" Monica wondered.

"Because what we will have to do, it isn't legal. Killing werewolves and disposing thier bodies can lead to war. Many humans could get hurt or killed and that's not what hunter's do. Werewolves might have fooled many humans, believing that they are peaceful but we know that they are not. If we keep our attacks small and secret, the other humans won't know and the werewolves can't openly declare war on us" Max explained.

"You're right, daddy. We need to do this secretly" Monica pretended to agree.

Monica wanted to tell Reggie everything as soon as she could. She had to wait until after the meeting and it was still a few hours away.
