LEXI'S POV
I woke up early because, truthfully, I didn’t get much sleep last night. Chelsea, who shared the bed with me, was still sound asleep, while Chase slept on the floor. Audrey insisted on staying over at the condo out of concern for me, so the three of us came home together last night.
I got up quietly to avoid waking the siblings. I decided to cook breakfast for the three of us since Chase and I both had work for the day. I had also made up my mind to return to the office because staying in the condo might drive me crazy. Chelsea had plans of her own today, so it was better for the three of us to eat breakfast together before heading off to our respective activities.
