Allington Helpers : Unwanted Trials

Bored. I was more bored than anyone else in the whole world. I had nothing to do, nobody needed help so I had nothing to do. I really needed something to do. "Hey Jake, we finally have a customer who needs our help!", my co-worker Michael shouted. He was also bored. Our job was basically to help anyone who needed help, we gained a lot of money from that since lots of people needed help. Especially in this town. We lived in a town called Allinton. It was a small but busy town with people who needed help. "I'm coming!" I yelled back coming downstairs from the wooden, old room I slept in. The place we work in has two floors. One for buiness and the other one was what we ate, slept, cooked and cleaned ourselve in. I don't see why other businesses just make a place for their workers to sleep in. A young man wearing a black jacket was at the front desk. He had blue eyes and blonde hair. "He says he needs help with an adventure," Michael said with a confused look on his face. I was confused but I was bored and I could do anything right now. "Ok, let's help him," I said. "How much are you paying?" "We can split the gold" The blonde man said. We called him adventure man for now. "Uh, are you sure Jake?" Michael said. "This adventure seems like a lie." "If you don't believe me.. Look at this," Adventure man said. He took a scroll out of his pocket and unwrapped it. On the scroll mapped the whole of Allinton and a circle was marked on it's isolated beach. "This looks like a trap, from like when a crazy, old, evil man tried murdering us," Michael said "He was actually a demon." "Beats being bored, " I yawned "Also, my name is Benjamin but you can call me Ben, " Ben said We packed up everything we would need and set course to the beach. As we discussed what might try kill us, a familiar place was reached. "Hey, isn't that the Help center?" I asked "It is," Ben said confused. Michael knew what was happening. He looked like he wanted to just return back yet he said nothing. We went the same way again and ended up here. "Did this happen to you when you came here?" Michael asked Ben suspiciously "Nope, this is strange to me," He replied "Let's try a different way, " I said. We went the long way but ended up behind the help center. Ben didn't look shocked but Michael was honestly beyond shocked. He stared at the back building and then looked at me then said "Can we please just qu-" "Mike you swore you wouldn't say the q word," I interrupted and Ben started to run towards the park near us. The park was always near us and we normally passed it when we were doing our job. It also contained secrets about Allinton. We chased after Ben but it seemed we lost him. "We gotta find him and ask him why we ran away" Micheal said to me. He ran straight through the park and I followed him. " I think I saw him going into The dark house," I said in disappointment The dark house was murky and mystical and it's doors yawned and stretched above those who dared to enter it. I went into it holding the torch we packed. Michael went in a few minutes after.
