Falling for a beast

Chapter 10

I was calling her for the next meeting/ I was feeling weird again. My wolf was telling me something is wrong with her. but she was not receiving so I went to her room and saw a note on her table. I picked it.

" Trouble. don't worry. I have to deal with it alone. I have to save Ben." 

Reading this. I got panic. That bastard promised me not to touch them and still he is back. I was calling her but her cell phone was off. I called Benjamin his phone was also off. I went to Nick's rooms and showed him the paper.

" Why don't you track her?" He said

"How can I? we are not bonded," I told him

" Ethan you are. How can you not feel it?" He said

"what you mean?" 

" Haven't you said you can feel her and she can hear you?" He said

"Yes but--"

" Ethan she is bonded to you because you guys are bonded with blood. Her blood is running in you." He said

" How is that possible? It's a myth only no one has ever experienced this." I told him as I know about this bond but it not possible.

"You know our legends have told us this. If our mate blood enters our body we are bonded by blood even if we have not mated or marked and in your case it has done its magic." He said

"So that's why I was having all feelings." 

"Now only you can save her. Feel her where he is." He said

I closed my eyes and focus on my feeling. I felt pain and hurt. Then I smelled the vanilla scent. I saw her she was laying on the floor in the icecream factory.

"They are an ice cream factory," I told him and we rushed.

Once we reached there. We fought all the Men of Victor. I went in and saw Ben beating him and when he was coming back to her. I saw he pulled the gun out and pressed the trigger. Rose pushed Ben aside and took the bullet herself. Ben caught her and he was screaming and crying. I could feel her pain inside me. I was feeling weak but I somehow managed and went to him. My anger took over me and I turned to half-wolf. Victor saw me and his eyes were filled with fear. I dug my claws into his chest pulling out his heart. 

We rushed to the hospital. Nick said he will take care of those bodies. Ben was calling her but she was unconscious. Once we reached. I hold her in my arms running inside. Lucas saw us and he was shocked. He took her into an emergency immediately.  Ben was broken. He was crying and blaming him self.

"It's because of me. I should have listened to her." He said crying.

"She will be fine," I said trying to calm him were as I was worried also to lose her. 

"No Ethan she told me to leave but I told her to stay. I said I will kill him before getting to us." He said crying while hugging me.

"Benjamin she is strong. She is not going anywhere. we will not let her." I said. If anything happens to her. I will give my life to her. I said to myself.

After 1 hour Lucas came out of the room. We looked at him.

"She is in a minor coma due to blood loss. I have taken out bullet her wound will take time." He said.

" how many days?" Ben asked

" I don't know Ben." He said hugging him 

Ben was crying. He had almost lost her only family. I was depressed to almost lose my mate. Ben didn't move from her side for a single second. I was waiting outside. Then Ben told me to come inside. I looked at her. He was pale. Her smile was gone. She was sleeping peacefully. Ben was calling her to wake up but she was moving s little bit. I was going crazy. I was holding her face in my hand and asking her to wakeup for the sake of Grey. I was not eating or drinking. Whenever Ben's leave I was shaking her to wake up. Nick saw me and dragged me home. He knew I am losing my mind. If I stayed there I will lose my control and changed to a wolf.

Ben called me telling me she is awake. I just rushed to her. I bought her favorite flowers. I knocked and opened the door. She was sitting and talking to Lucas. Her smile was back. She was back. She looked at me and smiled. My heart was now so calm. 

"You are awake," I said going to her side.

"I will leave you guys alone," Lucas said leaving

'Yes I am, Thankyou for saving us again." She said smiling

"We were worried about you," I said holding her hand.

" I know I am sorry but I could let ben hurt." She said

" Hey it's okay," I said

"Ethan can I ask you something." She said

" Yeah anything," I replied. If she asks me to die I will do that too right now.

"I saw--"

"Panda you scared us to death." We heard the door opening and James saying one of all the minions. 

" I know you all love horror story." She said jokingly to all.

"Shutup Panda. What if we had lost you? Who was going to cook for us?" Liam said

"Or who would spoil us?" Nicolas said.

"Most importantly whom I going to marry," James said and everyone slapped him

She was laughing. Her laugh is so beautiful. I was staring at her like an i***t.

"Well nothing has happened to me so chill guys." She said.

After a month she was fully recovered. I told her not to come to the office to stay at home. I daily go to the river to see her but Ben was not letting her leave the bed. Today she called me and asked me to come to the river. I was shocked. she has never told or brought anyone there before.

I went there at 9 pm as she told me. She was already there. She saw me and smiled.

"I am sorry I asked you to come here." She said

"No it's okay," I replied.

" I just wanted to ask you something." She said looking down.

" Yes sure," I replied

" That day I saw you pulling Victor's heart." She said and I panicked has she seen me like that?

"No no you are mistaken. I haven't done anything like this." I lied.

" You are lying. I saw it." She said

" No you may have seen a dream," I told her

" My dreams are true." She said and she was right because she saw me and the river in her dream.

"I want to tell you something." She said and I got nervous. Can you believe it? Me CEO of Rand Enterprises and King of all Alpha's got nervous.

" I am listening," I said

"I don't know when how but I started falling for you and I am in love now." She said 

My heart filled with happiness but with pain too because when she will know I am a monster she will leave me. 

" You can't love me," I said and turned my back to her

"Why can't I?" She asked

" Because I am saying so." I said and walked away

" I need a reason. Why can't I? Don't leave me" She said.
