Chapter Thirteen

The rage that coursed through my body when Hazel told me about Austin was hard to contain I wanted to tear his body apart and watch that cocky smile fall from his face, I had to walk away from her when I looked at her all I could imagine was his lips on her lips Cole was ready to take control and kill everyone who had ever looked at Hazel, he was winning and I was losing control of him I tried to breath and calm down, “where is he” I heard it come out of my mouth but it wasn’t my words Cole had the upper hand but I was desperate not to terrify my little mate, when she didn’t answer I turned to her Cole seething brimming at the surface but seeing the look on her face as she looked at me all the anger and the jealousy vanished she looked tearful and ready to run I had frightened her the way she was looking at me was crushing me “Hazel” I called her name softly she flinched and I cursed at myself I knew I had to control myself around her she had no idea of what I was capable, she looked up at me her eyes fearful I sat back down next to her I leant over and took her trembling hand in mine then realised mine was trembling just as much as her was “I’m sort Hazel, you haven’t had to see that side of me yet, but I am an Alpha I can get aggressive, but I promise I will never hurt you” I kissed her hand to reassure her and sensed her relaxing, I looked up at her she was looking at me curiously “your not mad at me?” she asked “no of course not! I’m angry that Austin thought he could touch what is mine” I growled anger starting to bubble up in me again Hazel moved closed to me stroking my arm “I don’t want anyone but you, Austin is nothing to me, I pulled away from him and never want you to ever think I might want someone else” he eyes where shinning holding back the tears I grabbed her and held her close to me I knew she didn’t want Austin she was just being honest and told me what had happened “I love you” I breathed into her ear I felt her whole body soften in my arms “I love you” she whispered back we held each other a moment longer, before her stomach growled and she let out a small giggle I smiled and realised her “I’m sorry for loosing my cool” I brushed her face lightly “I will tell Austin to leave me alone, don’t you speak to him I don’t want you to get angry and do something you will regret” she told me sternly I nodded with a smirk she knew full well what I was capable of “shall we eat then” I gestured towards the food I had brought “oh yes I’m starving” Hazel complained and we tucked into the picnic.

“I best go home” Hazel sighed she was laying on my chest as we watched the sunset she ran her fingers over my arms it sent tingles down my body I launched myself on her kissing her all over she was laughing and giggling “Tristan stop it” she could hardly speak for giggling I stopped and looked down at her we gazed into each other eyes for a moment lost in each others gaze then she lent up and kissed me I wanted to rip her clothes off here and now but she was nowhere near ready I needed to control myself the mate bond was pressing me to mate and mark her make her mine so the world knew that she was mine but my delicate fairy would surely run a mile we finally pulled away and I lent my nose against hers "Hazel what are you doing to me" I breathed “what are you doing to me" she whispered” but I really should go now will you walk me back?” she asked “of course I will" we packed up the picnic and put the basket back in my car we walked hand in hand back into the village it was all quiet, the queen still wanted people inside early and most the villagers where still scared so they complied, we rounded the corner to Hazel’s house we turned to hug each other she looked up at me and I captured her lips once more, we stood entangled in each other for awhile “ill come see you again tomorrow” I told her the pack house was getting behind on things but I wanted to be with Hazel 24/7 and the distance was killing me “yes please” she muttered taking a deep breath in as she smelt my t-shirt “until then my lady” I kissed her hand, Hazel giggled before bouncing off into her house my heart following behind her.

The whole way back to the pack house I couldn’t stop smiling Hazel was making me into a lovesick puppy and I didn’t mind, I parked up back home and made my way into my office I had better work late if I was going to see Hazel again tomorrow "Alpha" pack members greeted me as I went past I nodded as I usually did, I went straight up to my office there was paperwork I needed to attend too, I had been in my office for around an hour when Damien linked me “Alpha we have news" "ok I’m in my office come up" I replied I hoped it was about the whereabouts of the white witch and possible suspects of who would of told her about Hazel and me, Damien and a few trackers entered my office minutes later “Alpha" they all greeted me “what have you got for me?” I barked at them impatiently "Alpha we have found out that the white witch is in the old castle ruins on the side of the grey mountains she is surrounded by an army and holds the whole of the kingdom she resides in and several near by, they do say though that the kingdoms occupants do not appreciate her ruling them, they wish to gain control again, she treats them badly killing when she gets angry and starving them half to death with droughts and hurricanes that she controls" the tracker informed me I nodded I knew most of this but I wanted to be quiet sure, “any suspects for the traitor?" I asked "no sir not yet" they replied right you may go thank you" I told them both after they left I spoke to Damien “Damien you must find two of your most trusted she wolves and send them on a top secret mission to the kingdoms under the white witches command I believe them to be moonlight and half moon, you must tell them to be undercover as women who have been outcast and needing a new home they might get turned away but if I know moonlight the Luna will let one in, she is to report back what she sees how many soldiers are around and if they ever come across the white witch”. no one is to know about this but the two she wolves me and you” I glared at him seriously "yes Alpha" Damien nodded and he left the office I lent back on my chair thinking, I was Alpha to a large pack we have allot of members and fighters but nowhere near enough to defeat the white witch I would need to bring it down from the inside.
