The rest of October was spent performing in clubs and pubs around the country: Cheltenham, Southampton, Bournemouth, Chester and Wolverhampton. As they travelled up and down England, Elizabeth found that she had lost the debilitating nerves which had racked her first performances. Her confidence and self-belief had grown. Now, she literally skipped onto the stage and had to be pulled off at the end by Melody.
At the start of November, they headed south again for Croydon.
