There is an Attack

Dominique frowned worriedly as he noticed her pursuers getting closer, unlike the ones from his pack, these had a strong aura of danger radiating off them in waves. He pulled Anna along with me to the back of the mountain, wanting to get as far away from them as possible, "Come with me, I can show you how to shift back into your human form," He urged. Anna hesitated for a bit not trusting him enough to follow but as he heard the crunching of leaves under several footsteps and the whispers that floated through the air, she pursed her lips and allowed him to drag her along. "Why are you like me? Are you cursed too? Or did you have an unsuccessful shift?" she asked curiously while walking deeper into the forest, “What gives you the impression that you are cursed?" Dominique replied with a question of his own, his voice sounding annoyed and his stare as he looked back at her held unidentified emotions. "My pack said I am cursed because the moon goodness is angry with me for the sins in my past life" Anna explained innocently and Dominique couldn't help the anger that flared up inside him towards her pack. "What curse? If our kind is cursed then what are they? They are just a weaker version of us and then they have the guts to say you were cursed!" he gritted out angrily, his reaction surprising Anna as she wasn't expecting him to get angry by her words. 'Shouldn't he be used to such accusations by now?' she thought to herself and kept walking. "We are not cursed, just special. You have nothing to worry about, I will teach you everything you need to know about our kind" he reassured firmly and Anna hummed, not believing a word he had said, she decided to change the topic and asked, "How was I mated to you when I already had a mate? Does it always happen like this?" her voice sounded confused and innocent which made his heart itch in frustration and anger towards her old pack. He stopped in his tracks and turned to her with a glare and a possessive growl, "Forget about him, he isn't worth your company or time. He is just a page in the book of your life and although I can't explain how or why you got mated to me I can tell you one thing, You are mine mate now not his!" he declared and Anna felt goose bumps rise all over her skin as her fur stood up like a hedgehog's, her heart sprinted in anticipation of what the future holds as she beheld his determined expression. Somehow she felt reassured by his words and allowed herself to relax under his scrutinizing gaze, feeling awkward about his declaration, she chuckled nervously while thinking to herself, "At least I'm not alone", she finally met his eyes and choked out a, "Thank you" Dominique nodded in satisfaction as he continued walking the familiar part of the forest. He has never been an impulsive person to state a claim on someone or something, but the urge to make sure she knows who she belongs to came over him so suddenly and he just let it out. Soon they arrived at a beautiful clearing, in the middle say a pond surrounded by a moon-shaped boulder, the moon reflected through the clear waters in the pond illuminating the dark waters. Anna admired the serene and beautiful nature and sighed heavily, thinking about how she had been too impulsive with her decision to end it all just after she had promised her dead parents that she would live. Dominique marvelled at her soft black fur, allowing his mind to wander to the possibilities of her origin. Black furs for ancient lycan means powers and nobility and all through the last few generations of lycan, himself included, none of them had been born with the most respected black fur. He cleared his throat as he noticed her eyes were on him and gestured for her to come closer, "Relax and follow my instructions carefully. It's going to be painful since it's your first time shifting back into your human form, but you shouldn't worry, I will guide you through the process" he assured calmly, making sure all her tensed up muscled had relaxed before he began his instructions. "Close your eyes and imagine the rays of the beautiful bright moon, imagine yourself walking through the forest under the gleaming light of the moon, imagine the feeling of leaves crunching under your barefoot as you sprint across the forest excitedly" he instructed "Imagine your beautiful lithe fingers knitting sweaters and scarfs under the tree and the cool breeze brushing past your smooth don't skin" Anna let out a groan of pain as her body and bones began to reshape themselves into their normal size and shape. She felt a wave of pain coarse through her nerves and fell on her knees with a loud thud. Her furs began to disappear at a speed visible to human sights, and soon her naked human form appeared looking small and delicate. She stretched out her arms to look her body in awe, she had almost forgotten what her human form looked like. She ran towards the pond and stared at her reflection, her hands went up to her face, caressing and pulling to make sure she was not seeing things. Seeing her beautiful round face and her clear Hazel eyes a tear fell on her face, her heart filled with happiness. Suddenly a surge of dizziness hit her and she passed out falling head-on into the pond. "She's a bit weak and malnourished," a gruff voice whispered in her ear, and Anna frowned. "It seems her wolf has been drained of its strength from overexertion, that's why she fainted," the voice continued. Anna was confused by the words - what did it mean to be drained of one's wolf? And how could it have overexerted itself? She felt like there was a piece of the puzzle she was missing. 'Who is that? ' 'Where am I? ' she asked herself while looking around to see he was surrounded by nothing but darkness, panicked she trashed and turned wanting to be let out but her strength failed her. Her panic caught the attention of those around her and she soon felt herself being held. "Relax, you are safe" a familiar voice cooed soothingly, paying her back lightly while holding her to his strong chest until she was calm. "Open your eyes" Dominique urged and Anna realising that the darkness that surrounded her was due to her eyes being closed, peeled open her eyes to see an unfamiliar face staring at her closely with worry etched on his face. His eyes searched for any signs of discomfort and uneasiness, she felt tingles around where his hands were touching her skin and she frowned curiously, "Who are you?" She questioned, hating how just his touch was sending her a reassuring feeling of safety. As Dominique was about to respond to her question a loud commotion was heard from outside as the door was pushed open forcefully, Alpha Dominique! There is a rogue Attack!"
