Richard looked across to the front passenger seat of his car. Considering what had happened to Janus over the last few hours, he looked remarkably relaxed. There was no urgency to Richard’s driving – why should there be? Janus had been released from police custody under the laws that govern diplomatic immunity. He knew exactly who had organised Janus’s freedom and knew that there would be a price to pay but hopefully, that debt wouldn’t need paying for a while yet.
