Chapter 1: The Supremo Family
In the small town of Bangui, there was a couple named Ricardo and Tomasa. Ricardo was a businessman while Tomasa was a midwife. They had two sons, Panfilo and Andres. Though they were not rich, they were living happily together.  Panfilo , the older son, had become an apprentice of his father since he was eighteen. Together, they sold jewels, pottery, and other goods to foreign merchants for money needed by the family to live. Andres, the younger son, was not like his brother. He liked to explore places, squandering his money for leisure. He would walk around the town all day, looking for new things to explore. The family likes to go for leisure together. During festivals, they would travel from one town to another to watch fairs. Of course, Andres liked those festivals. He would always enjoy himself on the fair until the day is over. Although Andres liked to amuse himself all day, he was not really a bad boy. He would joyfully help his parents at home, doing anything he could to help relieve his parents of their stresses. He would do household chores and other tasks, and he would sing or c***k jokes while doing the tasks, making his family fond of him. On weekends, the family would go to their place of worship. During these times, Andres would like to listen to the speaker's message. After the worship, they would go to the market to buy food and other family necessities. At home, they would eat, have leisure, and read the Holy Writings together. Sometimes, they invite other families to join them.  On weekdays, Andres would also go to a boys' school, where they were trained on many disciplines. Andres proved to be a brilliant student. He won many awards, which earned him fame and made his family proud of him. Ricardo's business was running strongly. Every day, he and Panfilo would come home with much money coming from merchants from different towns and cities. Tomasa also had a good job as a midwife. They would do all they could to give the family, especially Andres, a comfortable life. Ricardo and Panfilo would occasionally have a business trip, which would sometimes last for days. During those times, Tomasa and Andres would have leisure together. Because of this, Panfilo became closely associated to his father, and Andres became closely associated to his mother. The family was a prominent one in their community. They were contented with what they have and they were always busy in their spirituality and livelihood. No other family was as happy as theirs in their community. That is why many people envy their family.
